The "60's" feel so good Ms. Furr, bet you just can't wait to get there! Floyd, order me once of those garage A/C units too and since you are still working (or drawing wages) you can just pay for it too! I appreciate it! Got my wish--sort of--at the track this evening! Race was canceled due to "dust"! I was hoping it would be rain as it would have cooled us off a little!
It was 116 when I entered the track at 5 p.m and cooled down to 108 at 8 p.m. when I left the track according to the temperature guage in my rear view mirror in my Silverado! Eyes Banging Head welcometo the new track :Insane Asylum-where all racers go when it is 110 degrees so you know they are all stupid! Wink Big Grin Smile just do it Cool

Mornin Y'all!

MsFur, Mike English is just jealous cause the ladies like an old silver fox like me. I learned a long time ago you catch a lot more bees with honey than you do with vinegar.

Guy, I'm only "working" part time so which part of that ac unit do you want?

Morning Monday!!!

Sounds like everyone had a pretty darn great weekend!!
Happy belated Birthday Ms. Furr!!! Congratulations Mike and Mannie!!! Looks like they had a great turn out for the WFC. Congrats to the winners!!
Congrats to my husband Mark, who took the foot brake class at Quaker City on Saturday!!

I spent the weekend with my sister. She's doing fine. Just waiting for more tests. We went down to the Meadows and played the slots. Not too much though. We laughed and had a great dinner. My son Joey and Sonya came too! Then I pulled more weeds!! LOL

Nikki is doing good. She just has to get over the side effects from all the meds. It's was day 100 on Sunday. But she's holding her own. She has been drinking and eating a little bit. We just have to get her liver back in line!! Thanks for all the prayers!!

Mr. Price, a hot one today where you're at!! Stay cool. Eat ice cream real fast!! LOL

Have a great day! And, spread your luck around!!!

Forever "53'

Always and forever "Thinking of Nikki"...

Good Morning folks, raining here in Troutville, we got hammered hard this am with thunderstorms and all, a bit of creek flooding going on in the area, so needless to say we aint pouring no concrete today.

Mike I am glad to hear about your runner up at MM over the weekend. I wish I was there to see Mannie's big ole grin.

We will keep on praying for Nikki.

Ya'll have a good Monday.

Did you find the "gold" Floyd? I ain't never seen anything out in Calyfornee that looked like gold to me other than when I went and the gold strips on my Camaro were there! Anyone in need of any dust? We've had our share of it here lately! Ever look at a 40,000 foot high wall of dust coming at you in the eye? Come on out and we will show you one almost every evening! It didn't snap, crackle and pop lightning and thunder around the valley last night and even dropped a little of that wet stuff but the ground is back to dust this morning! Send rain, please! You all have a gooden this week! We are gonna set inside, keep cool and eat ice cream as suggested! Wink Eyes Big Grin Laughing Smile just do it Cool

Good Morning folks, another slow day here. suppose to rain some more today and everything is a mud hole from yesterdays 1" - 2" we got.

I was out late last night fighting yellow jackets. No No The danged things built a nest in my outbuilding in some empty bee hives I have stored. Got stung 1 time in the elbow, still hurts. Eyes But I know them yellow jackets are gone. RIP Brake clean is the cheapest bee killer on the market I do believe.

Well ya'll have a good Tuesday.

Keep on praying for Nikki.

Good Morning Gang, alittle rainy here again this morning, but I got to get out and stir around alittle this morning and pick some beans, ain't to many, after the groundhogs have got done with them,me and the groundhogs are going to have a meeting of the mines, land mines,it's going to look worst than the golf course on Caddyshack, when I get done, bought had it with groundhogs...... Mad..........................

Marty I know all about them there Yellow jackets messing in this old junk,I run into them all the time. You probablly know this, but keep you a small and the hottest little onion you can find around when you're out working, and if you get stung, cut the end of the onion off and rub it on the sting,it works good, and you're right about the brake clean, thems some mean little devils.... Devil.................

Well got to get at it,so ya'll have a gooden and I hope to see you all afterwhile............................

Still saying prayers for Nikki at 9pm every night and extra ones through the day.............................................................................................

Got to rambling on about bees and groundhogs, and almost forgot something very important,a friend of mine has got some trouble with a infection in his hand, and may have to go in the hospitial today for a antibotic IV,got bit by a Cat,his cat, trying to move them to a new location and I don't believe the cat wanted to leave,so a very simple thing turned into something big,his hand is swelled up like a big hand they wave at the ballgames,(his words)so keep him in your prayers today that it won't be to bad after all,his name is Mike Hutchens, were praying for you buddy.............................................
