Yep, Mike I am still around, just working a lot here lately. We have been blessed here lately with a bunch of work, man I am glad.

So Mannie is playing baseball, thats cool. I bet you are one proud dad out there at the ball park, sounds like he is doing well, a triple and 2 singles, pretty good. So he is playing 2nd base. Thats a tough position, gotta be ready.

Guy, I am sorry to hear about your position, with your granddaughter. I hope all goes well for ya'll.

We will keep on praying for Nikki, Carey and The Price family.

Mannie playing baseball!! All my boys played when they were younger!! I enjoyed going with them and practicing with them. They didn't think Mom could hit the ball! I miss those days!

Marty--glad to hear that you have been busy!! You're in my prayers! I know things are starting to get a little slow in my area. The Sony plant here will be shutting down completely!! What are these politicians doing?? I don't think they have a clue at all!! We need racers to run this country!!

Nikki is doing well. She ate a little bit, went for a walk around the floor and played Wii with Bob. He's feeling much better! Miracles are wonderful!!

It rained in the mountains east of Phoenix last night but by the time it reach here the drops all dried out before they hit the ground as we only got to 107 yesterday! We have had a whoppin' 1.97" of rain so far this year! What's the matter, don't you folks wanta share?
We need a gulley washer to rain out the race this next weekend so we don't have to race in 115 degree temperatures! Gotta take grandson's home and got get grandaughter so you all have a big ol' gooden!

So good to know that Nikki is improving daily,and knowing that the prayers are being prayed for her daily is a really uplifting to me and all I can do is say Thank You God for Your Blessings..................................

Well, it's the fifth Saturday so far this week--at my age all seven days are Saturdays now--but this time we take the grandaughter shopping for her 16th birthday and school supplies! Her and I made a birthday cake last night and if I was half way smart I could post a picture but I am only 10% smart so you will have to take my word for it! Our biggest feat to accomplish today is to figure out how to take her shopping and keep her puppy home and cool without potting on the foor while we are gone! She's fine until she get on a carpeted floor (bedrooms and family room) which I think she thinks is grass!
Still just a pup and will learn, will just take time. Gotta get the pickup washed today too so we can go racing tomorrow night about the time it turns 115 degrees! Wish it would come real turd floater and rain it out so we could delay this racer till it's cooler by at least 10 degrees! You all have a wet and cool one!

Morning Gang,hope everybodies weekend is get off with a bang,Mannie had a coach pitch game late yesterday,and played great,had two doubles and a single at three at bats,and played second and third base,and was stopping them balls and getting outs,so I'm pretty proud this morning,but heck I'm proud everyday of that boy..................

Well ya'll have some fun today and if you get to race turn on some W's and have a Gooden and we'll see ya'll afterwhile..............................................

Yesterday wound up being a do nuthin day so I better get my butt up and do something productive. I'm going to order a window ac unit for the garage. It's hard to work in the heat when you get as old as Guy and me. The heat effects us more.

Installed my LM-1 back in the car this morning, loaded car back in trailer now just gotta hook up! Washed the truck, hoping it will make it rain but no chance of that happening! So I reckon we will will race when the sun goes down! Better throw extra can of Brut in the car so if someone wants to talk to me! Gonna be a scorcher! I will be "well done" by the time I get home later tonight or early tomorrow morning! If you don't hear from me, come lookin' for me! Hopefully the bones won't be bleached out to bad from sun so I can be identified! Later!
