Glad to hear, Fern. I'm with you on the cold, snow, ice, etc. It's been nice to have a couple of warm days to melt some stuff. I can see most of my lawn again, first time in over 3 weeks.

I just need it to get warm enough that the '81 will start, and I can get it into my buddy's garage. I want to go through the trans, go over the brakes, and I have to replace the headers.

Good morning guys.

Talking about snow. We had 6"-8" last week. You guys up North can keep that nonsense. LOL It doesn't last long here which is a blessing. I need to move my trailer that is sitting on grass right now. The snow soaking in made the ground a little soft.

So Chuck did you see they are messing up the National League also like the American? Stupid DH.

Hey Curtis, I lived in Moore 50 0r 90 years ago and raced at Thunder Valley. Weather here the last 3 days has been around 70 so I have been trying to install a new back door-glass on the cap of my F-350. Talk about a pain in the a$$. Will attempt to finish that deal today. Could go racing Sat as Kinston is having their winter fest but after checking its to far to go for a race that only pays 4 places. I have decided not to change the motor and transmission in the race car as they seem to be ok and I don't race every weekend any more. Its still running 6.60 and thats what its done for 4 seasons. Olds motors last because we shift at 5000-5500 and no button leaving so it don't get beat to death. Good to see Chuck in here more as I don't see the Face Place folks. Stay safe

Fern, that's cool that you lived in Moore. Glad you got out. That place is a little dangerous now in the spring and early summer. I had 2 daughters that lived down there when that massive tornado hit but they were fine.

Been 5 days since anyone posted here. Guess we have nothing to say or are just lazy. I fit both categories. But since nothing happening I have nothing to say. Going to VA today for more tests. Everyone be safe and don't be afraid to stick your nose in here.

Howdy all. Been a busy week. Riding the weather roller coaster here. 50, 30, 20, 40, 50, 60, 30, 45, 50, 30. I don't like wishing time away, but February always seems to be the longest month.

Curtis, yeah, not happy about the DH in the National League. It takes away from some strategy a bit. Worse, the Pirates don't have a good candidate to DH currently. I just hope they settle the labor dispute. They would be stupid not to. They will lose audience and never get them back if the season is delayed.

Fern, glad you're all good. Keep on keeping on.

Nick, any success out there on the track?

Good morning fellers. With oil above $90 it's really busy here at work. Been doing some maintenance on my junk pile trying to get ready for the year. I hope everyone is caught up and ready.

Fern, glad to hear all is good.

Today is a typical Winter weather event for Oklahoma. Starts out raining, then the freezing temps move in, then it starts snowing. The rain gets down in the roads then freezes breaking them up. Every. Stinking. Year.

Got the big racing, car show and parts expo at the Greensboro, NC coliseum tonight and tomorrow so I will head up in the morning to mill around, browse the parts, the cars, and BS with some friends. Jim Turner who used to own Piedmont puts this on each year for the benefit of the Shriners Hospital. Supposed to be the biggest in the East and it has never let me down. Other than life goes on and it looks like I may get to race in a couple of weeks. Everyone stay safe, to much stuff getting wadded up lately.

Howdy all, hope you had a good weekend. It was cold Friday and Saturday, but yesterday was near 50 and sunny, and today was 60 and sunny. I'll take it for February in Pittsburgh. Saturday, I went hiking in the park where the bridge that goes over one trail fell last month. They have made quick work of the clean up. I was there 2 weeks ago, and all of the sections were still where they fell. Saturday, it was all gone, pretty impressive. Hiking in the Laurel Highlands yesterday, got to see a porcupine having a snack up in a tree, a first for me in the wild.

Fern, I hope you had a good time at the show. That's awesome it's for Shriners Hospital.

Nick, you doing any good out there?

Car show was great and also NC drag racing hall of fame induction---Scotty Cannon was on of the 4 and as tough as nails as that boy is he teared up at this one. It was a good time and saw lots of folks I rarely see. Still feeling a little rough but getting better. Even worked on race car and motor home some today as it was around 70. You all stay safe

I'm a native Californian and have lived here all my life. We just had about 30 minutes of snow. Came down pretty hard. I haven't seen it come down like that since I was at Ft. Lewis Washington.

Sorry I been absent. Snow is what got me moved here. Floyd you have sure seen some change out there in your life most not for the good. We will keep on--its what we do. Weather has been a mess. It was in the 70s with the sun bright and I was feeling a little rough. Feel great and it is raining and cold. WTF! Going to try to go to Farmington track for flea market Sat and get rid of some things others can use. See some friends. Nothing more here. To bad about Ukraine. Probably dried up Hunter Bidens cash stream. Everyone stay safe.

Footloose,
I can cook about a mean everything.
Funny you should mention meatloaf, a local store has it on sale right now so I picked up a couple of lbs. A meatloaf sounds good. Just gotta get some pork sausage to mix in it.
