Floyd it has been mid 80s the whole time. A/C running night and day but supposed to cool down Monday. I am hanging around to see how the snow goes up North. Jeff Stewart is here and supposed to get 14in at his home. 80s to freezing☹️

Fern,
My So Cal Cas Co bill is atrocious.
How far did you get today? I wasn't able to watch that much of it. I did get to see the finals though.
Sit back and relax and take a nice quiet drive home. Glad you had a good time.

Floyd you don't know how humble it makes me feel to be recognized for doing nothing. Seeing people I haven't seen in years and having many just come by to say hello. It why I go, lord knows its not for the money I win.....and at this race--IT WAS WARM!

Fern,
Glad you had a good time and got to see those people you've known for so long.
I don't know who that announcer was but he gave you a big shout out. Nice to hear that about somebody I know.

As far as I know one was from Ohio I think, one was from Texas, and one was from Tenn. Rob, the promoter is from South FL. I just now put it in the WARM garage as I have no idea when I'll get to go again. I had to put antifreeze in it before I started home. Freeze up quick on an open trailer. Sure glad I don't live in the Baltimore area anymore as it would have been a mess on I-95. Want to change motor and trans they been in there a long time and a lot of runs.

Probably from Texas--Leghorn is his name. Guess I came back up here to the North pole to soon, 22 last night and now I have to go to a funeral in Baltimore Sat where it is even colder.

Looks like some of the schedules are coming out and one track has things I never heard of--Donk racing, moving start racing, drifting, and some more I never heard of. Progress! They did have one bracket race listed.
My friend Dan Warren had his whole mess stolen down in Melbourne FL out of a storage lot in his gated community. I was just visiting him New Years. Darn shame.

Went to Baltimore for a funeral Fri and back to NC Sat. 800mi round trip. 9 degrees whe I got up Sat but I beat the storm back here but got up and everything snowed and iced under. Haven’t ventured out yet. Baltimore reminded me of why I moved South 15 years ago. Everyone stay safe.

Howdy all, hope everyone had good holidays. Mine were good, pretty close to normal after 2020's being so low key. Getting ready to gear up to do some shoveling, guessing 8-9 inches of snow for me, then heading to my parents to shovel them out. Looks like we're having a real winter this year, about to hit a week or so of not breaking 30 degrees. Bbrrrr. You all stay safe.

Well I brought something back South from Baltimore. Woke up Sunday with the sh-its, Monday real sore throat, felt worse Tuesday so went to Dr and was Covid tested, Negative, said I have a real bad cold. Still feel rough this morning with sinus plugged up and a head ache. I rarely get sick but when I do it kicks me hard and I have now been kicked. Been staying in but it is cold and getting colder by the day so thats easy. Everyone stay safe.

Fern,
You take care of yourself. It's no where near as cold out here as it is out your way. But I've been doing the same thing, staying in and staying warm. My So Cal Gas bill shows it.
Y'all have a gooden. Blue Man

Good morning Fern,

You are right about people missing. I think part of it is just people naturally migrating to something different but I also believe many people don't like confrontation or constantly being told they are wrong/called names. I think we are missing out on some stuff occasionally that might be worthwhile because it gets beat to death that there is only ever one way to do things.

Agree…
Space Book didn’t do us any favors however the diehards are still here. Not worthy The bickering activity on the tech side and here is one reason. It’s fine to disagree just move on. Folks are less tolerant of bs today. I AM! I know what works for me and I still have an open mind. If I don’t learn something every day then something is wrong! This place has taught me a ton!
We have lost some great minds and quick wits on this site but we still have some great ones too!!! One can hope they are replaced with fresh minds.
I’m on Classracer too but what I don’t like is any A hole can post bs and hide there. Have some balls and post your name. Sack up and protest them if you think something is wrong or just shut up and stage!
