Well when I left home this morning diesel was $5.19 and when I get down here to the beach it is $4.76. .43 a gal cheaper in SC than N.C. And you know it’s high at the beach!

Mornin y'all,

Went to the doctor about swollen calves. He said to start wearing compression socks for a few days.
I said how do I get them on? He said you unroll them just like a condom. I said Doc, it's been so long I don't remember how.

Y'all have a gooden! Laughing Hard

Dam Floyd. Been a ride here at the beach. Temp has been from 24 to 80 and now it is raining. Looks like good weather for the car show this weekend and they have been rolling in. Supposed to be huge but we leave in the morning so will miss that zoo. It’s BIG!

Fern,
Our weather has changed too. Still a bit chilly at night but into the high 70's during the day. We have rain predicted for Saturday but not all that much.
Safe travels, y'all have a gooden.

LMAO Floyd! I hope you're feeling ok.

I spent 5 days out in San Francisco last weekend, had never been to CA. Did a ton of walking and hiking, averaged 21k steps a day. I got to see my oldest niece and hike at Castle Rock with her, that was the highlight. Second was Muir Woods, and seeing the redwoods. What was a little crazy to me was 87 octane was $5.99 a gallon, but 100 octane unleaded was $9.99. That's about what it was here... well, what it was before this season. It was nice being out in mid 60 degree weather, when there was 4" of snow here. Big Grin

You all have a good weekend!

What a day--70 degrees. Washed 3 cars, mowed 1/2 the yard, and fixed a short in the race car. To bad about the kid getting killed at Farmington. Looks like a combination of several things caused his death. I'll leave it at that.

Yesterday was interesting around here. Typical for Oklahoma I guess with blizzard warnings in the pan handle, heavy rains in the north east and tornadoes in the southern part. No reason for Oklahoma to ever do anything normal. LOL Everybody have a great day.

One of the first to post on this site. Raced with him when I lived in AZ almost 60 years ago at Bee Line dragway.

Glad we are still here Floyd. Don't want no belated birthday wishes.

Put rear brakes on the Smart car today. Talk about a hateful job. 44000 miles and didn't really need them but I had bought the parts and took it apart so now it is done. Gets driven a lot more now since we live 22mi from town and gas is high.....Going to Darlington tomorrow evening to race Sat. $2500 to win in no box, win round 3 get money and $60 buy back. $500 in top. This is a good track 115mi away. Yes Ferns still racing.

Mornin y'all,

Wouldn't be right to not post the dinner my family treated me to last night. It looks rare and it is.

Fern,
They need us to set a bench mark.

Nick, I had left overs but they're gone now.

Guys, I'm not that far behind you. At 73 I still have the desire and drive to race. Let's just hope I can make as far as you.
