Get a turbo on that mower and cut your mow time in half.
My son and his company just got 2 awards for their turbo products at the Sema show. That's 3 years in a row. Engineered to win @ Turbosmart.

Howdy all! Sorry been MIA, keep meaning to get on here after work, but just seem to be on go all the time.

My season came to an end a couple of weeks ago. At IHRA bracket finals, I needed a lesson on pulling into the lanes, 'cause I did it wrong. Drove well, but not at the right times. Round 1 of the main event, knew I was a hair soft, my guy comes around, I pedal it once to go dead on with a 1. .029 bulb for me, 30 pack no good. My man was .0002 and drove me through by .008, nothing I could do. I was looking forward to Norwalk's no box race the following weekend, only to have it canceled. The first weekend in October, our Halloween race here, made it to 4th round Friday night, bailed out to lose by .009, would have been dead on if I stayed flat, hard to say what Josh would have done since he was pedaling too. Saturday, made it to the semis/7th round, missed the tree a bit and my friend didn't. SBRA bracket finals at Mason Dixon 2 weeks ago, did ok, .003 red third round of Race of Champions, went rounds in the gamblers race, and made it to 5th round of the main event went an S10 put a .015 pack on me. All test and tune here to finish the season out, and as much as I want to go to the FFF, that's family time.

Fern, I saw Dave Raser for the first time in 4-5 years at Mason Dixon. He asked how you were doing. I told him you were still getting out there. We agreed we want to be like Fern!

Floyd, how's the wing and your sniffer? I know I'm 2 weeks late, but the rib eye looked goooooood!

Nick, how is AZ? Is the car ready to go when you start up again?

Sure cooled down here. Seems we went from 80 to 50 with no in between, and this week we're high 20s overnight. Bbbrrrrr. The older I get, the colder it seems.

Chuck dial what it runs and trust your car. Read above. I was dead zero twice and dead 5 once and dead 8 once. In 4 passes. Trust your car.

I do, Fern. I was dialed 7.10, Josh 6.40, and he was around me at the first cone, so I dropped. Turns out we were about even on the tree, and he was holding a good bit that run. Oh well.

If you are close on the tree and you run dead on he has 2 choices, take the finish line or drop. The result is the same you win because if he drops you take the finish line and win and if he sticks his nose in front of you he runs out. Either way you win. The key is the tree and a car you can trust. My car hates me because it does its job and I am iffy at best. Glad to see you in here more Chuck.

Fern,
Not hiding. Watched a lot of the division race at Vegas over the weekend. Great action. Pomona stock eliminator should be real good. National championship is still up for grabs. Looking forward to it. The McClanahans have all 3 cars entered so I gotta pull for my buddies.
Y'all have a gooden. Woody and I are waiting for the fog to blow over. It's cold and wet.

Fern, I thought I was a little soft on the tree, and I was, just turned out Josh was about equally soft. Just one of those rounds, made a decision that usually is the correct one when the faster car passes you. I'm with you, I've been letting both of my cars down since I started racing! Big Grin

Sure glad we have a warm little stretch here. The track was open for test and tune this weekend, sunny and mid 50s, got a little fix in for seeing some cool cars make passes. I took today off and went hiking, 60 and sunny, nice start to the week.

Floyd, that will be an exciting finish this weekend. I love when it all comes down to the last day, regardless of class or track.

No racing here. I don't pay any attention to NHRA so it don't matter. 75 here yesterday so I washed 1/2 the motor home. Other 1/2 today as its supposed to be 70s once more. Got leaves, brush to burn, etc. The list goes on. Everyone have a good day.

Good afternoon all! Still kind of hot out here in the desert southwest Saturday 91 Sunday 86. There was something new out here if you can believe this, it was a foot brake race! I brought in a ringer after he blew up a stocker first round. We had a little learning curve but still made it to third and fourth round in the two entries. Not bad for a super pro car that had no history trying to footbrake! Sunday was a gambler and got down to 1/4s but we went red.001! My ringers dad had race in 4 races over the weekend days and won all 4 of them ! Congrats to Chuck Hawk !
Next race weekend after next, Arizona drag racing Association memorial race, this is a good one brings racers from all over the state. I hope to be full of energy and be able to race this one!

Everyone have a great day do something fun, you only live once make the best of it!!!

Nick that Hawk family ain't no joke. Even I know that. We have so called foot brake races here all the time but some of the cars have more buttons and electronics than the space shuttle. No one ever says a word. I just shut up and race, might get lucky.

Howdy all. Cold, raw weekend here, snow yesterday morning for a quick dusting that melted, another dusting going on now. I was happy to have had a last warm weather shot at going for a couple of hikes last week before the weather changed.

I haven't checked in on Pomona yet to see what all went on there yet. I don't have FS1 on my cable package, so I didn't get to watch any. One of the kids that used to work at Keystone is a crewman on Salinas' top fuel team, so I pull for them.

Hey Nick, hope you're feeling ok, and were able to race this weekend. Does this mean you're going to footbrake more?? Big Grin That's an awesome run by Chuck Hawk. One of my buddies won 4 races in a row, but it was over 4 weekends, not 1.

Fern, I'm with you on some of those footbrake cars with all of the buttons and such. I know my junk is a true footbrake car, good enough for me.

Also, Michelle Furr lost her mom last week, if you all can keep her in your thoughts. She's having a tough year.

Chuck since you are in the tower up there all the time what do your people do about the buttons? Maybe to busy policing deep stagers---that is Div 1 isn't it.

Good Evening all ! It’s been warm here high 80s and over night down to low 50s .
Chuck thanks for asking doing great, above ground daily. Hoping to turn on some win lights this weekend. And no on footbrake change over, this is just a once a year event that I wanted to support.
Fern I’m glad I can call the whole family of Hawk Family Racing as good friends. Without them and another good friend Donnie Toia I would not still be racing! They are the best friends bar none !

You all have a great week !
