Mornin Y'all!
It wasn't too warm yesterday so we got some errands run and got a few naps in. Buddy got to socialize all over the place.
Today I'm going to drop the diaper and change the oil in the hay hauler. Got to order new tires too. It's a damn shame they get old and hard before they wear out. But if the tires aren't relatively fresh I couldn't hook up on sand paper.
Praying Angel hug to all the folks in Okla homa.
Oklahoma is 2 words.

Mornin' all! Good weekend once again. Helped out a little at the track, worked the water box and called cars on Friday, and water box a little on Saturday. I got to be in between the nitro cars in their second session, and that was really cool. The prostalgia funny cars have to run close to 100% nitro... we got a pretty good dose that had our eyes watering big time! A lot of good racing, good time. I went to say hello and congrats to Michael Beard, who won 1, and runnered up in the other, in Super Stock, and he invited me to be in his winner's circle pic. IHRA ran both races on Saturday because the forecast for Sunday was pretty bad. Everything ran smooth, event was over around 11pm. I didn't get home until 3am, after setting a spell with my friends, and slept til 1pm yesterday. I love sleeping in!

I was at the track and heard about the tornadoes in OK. I did see that Mouse posted on FB before I conked out last night. Prayers for all those folks, and a big shout out to the Red Cross, Salvation Army, first responders, and those who support them.

Floyd, race more! That will keep your slicks fresh! Big Grin

Mike, where would we be without TMI?? Just watch out for ticks, unless you have a cutie to check you for 'em. Big Grin

You all have a great day!

Good afternoon everyone.
We are safe and sound here.
Went chasing Thursday and Friday. Friday night around OKC was extremely crazy.
We were only about a mile from the Weather Channel crew that got tossed around.
I'm not exactly sure where the 3 chasers that died from the tornado were at, but I'm sure we weren't to far from them.
That is a very sad deal and I pray for their families.
I'm about done chasing for the year and ready to get serious about some racing.
Y'all have a good one.
See ya.

Mornin' all! Just about perfect weather out there today. Mid 70s, low humidity, lots of sun and blue skies. Good night to go lean on the fence at the track.

Found out at least one of the 4 floppers was running 91% nitro. It was a big doese, so I believe it! There was about 7-8 of us watching the water box and starting line, and we all tried to tough it out, but had to look for fresh air! They are happy tears... it was awesome to be between 6 sets of them, plus Litton's fueler and the jet car, then Bob Motz.

Mouse, I agree, racing is safer! I hope you're on the track soon.

Mike, I'm with you about the wording. Good stuff though, summer day, school's out, playing with a friend.

hug Michelle... you going to Norwalk or Columbus?

You all have a great day!

Good morning everyone. Glad you all are doing well. I'm getting the heck out of here for a few days as it is supposed to be 110 by Saturday. I'm flying to Tennessee on Thursday morning to surprise my daughter with a short visit. Son-in-law is picking me up at the airport and so far my daughter has no idea mama is coming. Only going to be there until Monday morning, but at least I get to spend a couple of days with them. I decided only seeing them once a year just wasn't going to work.

You all have a great day and stay safe.

Hugs & Prayers all around. hug Praying

Mornin' all! Some kind of bug knocked me down Tuesday night into last night, feeling better now. I wish I could go back to bed, raining up here too, the rain is a lullabye to me.

Susie, that is awesome, great stuff! I hope you have a wonderful visit.

Man, bummer week for Pittsburgh sports. $&*^%#@$ Braves sweep the Pirates, and the Pens finally show up to play, but it may be too late. Hopefully the Cubs will be good medicine for the Bucs.

You all have a great day!

I know I dont get on this site much anymore..

I wanted to let you know that my brother Lee (Dragster66SS) was involved in an atuomobile accident last nite. He has multiple fractured ribs, a broken bone in his lower neck and a broken wrist. they also think that he has some punctures in his lung(s). As of now they are not going to do surgery on his neck. I think they are going to do surgery on his wrist Friday.

Please get Lee and our family in your prayers!

Mornin' all! TGIF!! Hoping the weather stays dry for racing tomorrow. With any luck, that will be my last day in a borrowed ride. Piston rings arrived at Smitty's, heads are done, and he is working on finishing the assembly.

Continued prayers for Lee and his family. I know he has a little sweetie who just turned 1 that needs her daddy. And those waiting room hours sure are stressful.

Mike, since you can't play with big Lincoln logs and trucks, gonna go racing? Big Grin

I posted a couple things in Bob's thread. Karen continues to do great things with the Foundation, and a friend posted how much Nikki's story influences him.

You all have a great weekend, and don't forget to go get some ice cream with someone special.

Lee had surgery on his wrist this Morning! Everything went well.

As of now the plan is just for him to wear a neck brace for the broken neck bone!
