Mornin Y'all!
Hey Mike, don't know why it said no show,I was there, I just stunk up the place. Ain't never lost that way before so I guess I can check that one of my list. I'm sure I'll be able to find more ways to lose before I quit. At least it still has all it's fenders on it and I can still drive it into the trailer.
Y'all have a gooden. Praying Angel hug

Mornin' all! Winds of change blew through, knocked about 25* out of the temps. It's not race day, so I'm good with that. I just do hope March goes out like a lamb.

Floyd, aw poop, I was hoping you were going to be the big winner this weekend. But, you took care of the first 2 items on every racers list, you were safe, and you had fun.

Ken, Jujubees??? Are you mad at your dental work? Or want a back up something to cuss at? Big Grin Good luck, I hope the cam is not scarred and you can get back out there.

Michelle, saw you had a little bit of adventure getting home. Glad you all are safe. I'm more with Madi... I'd sleep. I'd wake up for a minute, and if you didn't need me, back to zzzz. Big Grin

I'm asking you all to pray for my friends beautiful little girl. Lou Greco is a DRR member, and a real good guy. He and his wife Jean are proud parents of Josie. Josie is going to need a kidney transplant, and Jean was going to be the donor. The numbers that the docs look at, Josie's are too low. So, they are in Philadelphia today, seeing a specialist, in hopes they can bring Josie's numbers up. Praying the docs can do so, so the transplant can be scheduled, and continuing prayers for strength for Lou and Jean.

Good morning everyone. Well it's supposed to be close to 80 here today. Wow spring is here this week, of course we could be back in winter next week, so I am going to enjoy it while I can.

Mike so sorry to hear about your cousin and your sister. Sending my prayers to you and your family. Chuck sending lots of prayers for little Josie and her family.

Not much to report, been real busy with work which is a good thing. Mark hasn't finished assessing all the damage to the car yet, so don't know when we will have her fixed.

You all take care and have a wonderful day. Hugs & Prayers all around. hug Praying

Susie hope to hear good news soon on your car, I feel like God has a plan for all of us so I hope you guys are enjoying the down time & making grt memories.
Sending prayers for your family Mike & Josie...Josiephine was my Grand'mas name, neat that it's back around hoping all goes well for them.
Dang it Floyd, was pulling for you...hugz & prayers all around
Our thoughts are with Sally Waycaster who lost her Dad last night.

Maybe leaving before the tree was activated looked like I wasn't there.
Heck, one time I came to the line and they said they had no information about the driver. I know 2 of the announcers and the race director personally and I had a couple of thousand friends on the property.

Good Afternoon All;

Chuck; Sorry to hear about Josie. That does have to be hard on parents. Can't imagine the agony. She will certainly be in our thoughts.

Floyd; Hey, "how to lose a race" is something I can definately school you on. I keep thinking I found them all, but continue to amaze me and friends on new and invotative ways.

Well, drove up to San Antonio yesterday. Got in a bit early, so ripped the furnace out of our travel trailer and loaded it up. I need to change the blower motor, and rather do it here than there.

Got up this morning and stopped at Love's for coffee and cinnamon role, and don't ya know, they was out of cinnamon roles. What a way to start a morning. Anyway, got to the car and discovered that I left the kill switch on last time, so the batteries are totally dead. Just getting ready to tear the engine apart was a lot more hassle than actually doing it.

BUT, the cam is not damaged. Can't find any damage other than the broke lifter, and damaged rocker adjuster. Already replaced those. Ordered two gasket sets for the intake and looking forward to going up next week for my VA appointment and a day to put the engine back together.

A whole day (well, 23 hours) all by myself, and didn't break nuttin, lose any blood, or get arrested. Thinking Ol' what's her name should be willing to trust me to do it again soon.

Later

Ya'll Be Of Good Cheer

Mornin' all! Over center day! Now we have some snow again today. Crazy March weather. Susie, if you want to send a little of that warm weather over, that would be appreciated! Big Grin

MIchelle, that's the good stuff. We all want to win, but as long as you had fun, you really did win.

Ken, good to hear about the cam. I hope you are back on the track soon.

Josie had some tests yesterday, and blood drawn. I think they have to wait a little to get the results. Thanks for keeping her in your prayers.

You all have a good day!

Mornin' all! Sun is out, but it's cold and windy. After the awesome weather last weekend, it feels more like January. I know it's all in my head, but I'm done with winter.

Michelle, I'm with you, my cup overflows.

I still have to see Duck Dynasty. I saw a note online or in the paper, their sales have boomed so much with the show, they hired 40 people. That's pretty cool.

As of last night, Jean hadn't had a chance to update on Josie. Jean's dad put a note out, that he thinks the news is good, but was deferring to let Jean give the news.

You all have a good day!

Mornin' all! TGIF! Sun is peeking in and out, looks like today will be our warmest day of the weekend. Supposed to get some mix of stuff late tonight. That's fine. Get it all out before the season starts.

It is some pretty good news on Josie. One of the concerns was that she may have leukemia, or another malignancy, but after 3 months of uncertainty, it has been ruled out. The rare level of protein in Josie's blood is typically associated with cancer, so this is great news. Looks like there is another week of wait time, to see what route they will take, but Jean and Lou were very impressed with the specialists, and their attention to detail to Josie's complete medical history since birth. They also gave Jean and Lou a sense of reassurance, that they have made the best decisions for Josie's health. Jean led off with this in the update, and I'll use it here to close, with my thanks to the DRR GM family, MIA's, and lurkers:
First off, THANK YOU for being with us during our trip to/from CHOP.

You all have a great weekend!

Good Morning All;

It's gonna be a grand day today. Some might even say hot, but 80 looks just fine to me.

Chuck; that is good news. Glad to hear it. It seems like we are always waiting for the results of one more test, one more opinion, or one more result. I think that is the hardest part. Very difficult to live a "normal" life when you're waiting to hear.

MsFurr; I certainly understand. Seems like I am always wishing I was at this race or that race. Just hoping I can get my act together in time for Nitro Jam at SAR.

OK, since I am feeling pretty good, Ol' What's her name has a full day scheduled for me, and I had better get to it. She is really mean, and will take away my Jujubees if I don't get my chores done.

Ya'll Be Of Good Cheer

Mornin Y'all!
Only 2 days till St Paddy's day. I couldn't wait so I got the first corned beef in the crockpot this morning. Sunday is my favorite grand daughters 13th birthday so I celebrate it with a full belly. She is named after her grandma so that makes her my favorite.
Ken, get out and get busy.
Chuck, good news.
Michelle, hit the practice tree to keep up on your off weekend. Wink
Y'all have a gooden. I need to unload the truck from last weekend. I'll unload the trailer next week. Don't want to rush it. Praying Angel hug
