Good evening everyone. I hope you are all doing great. I'm really excited I get to pick my daughter & son-in-law up from the airport in 4 hours and 58 minutes, but who's counting. This is the 1st time they've been home in 5 years so they are really excited. I've been getting stuff packed to move into my new office next week. I am staying in the same building, but going around the corner to a smaller place. Kind of sad and kind of exciting at the same time. New beginnings are always an adventure.

Floyd, I hope your sister-in-law is doing better. You need to go see a specialist if the swelling isn't going down after taking medication, that's nothing to fool around with.

Mike, how's Mom doing and how's Mannie doing in school?

Chuck, we have our last race in Sacramento this weekend before the ET Finals. Mark is leading the points so we may have another championship this year.

My sister-in-law got out of the horsepistal. She goes to the cardiologistb for the ole stress test in a couple of days. Hm, they wouldn't let me out till I did the stress test. Guess Florida is a little more layed back.
Mom's doin fine, just waitin for a place to move. She's got a gal that comes in every mornin for 3 hours to help her bathe and get it all together.
I finally convinced the doctor somethin ain't right and he's referring me to a vascular surgeon. Damn hmo, gotta wait for approval.
I guess when ya turn 70 things start cathin up with ya that didn't bother you in the past. The mind is fine but things from the shoulders down don't want to cooperate.
Ya'll have a gooden. to all the ladies.

Good morning gang been mia for a couple of days,been under the weather again,went to dr.and she wanted me to go to the hosptial again and I refused and she refused to give me anything for my cough and heavy head,she's new to the partice and thinks it's my heart been down the road about 7 times in the last two years and it's always something else not my heart,what I have now is allergy related and has settled in my chest,so going to get a second opinion today if this dr.says go to the hospitial,I will,but good grief I'm really tried and feel bad so something has got to give...................

Floyd you take care of yourself and get that leg checked out and I hope your Mom and sister-in-law get along good............. ....................

Susie,Mom is hanging in there,somedays are pretty tough and then somedays they don't look like anything is wrong,I can only watch her from a distance,and Mannie is actually liking school and getting ready to start football part.this Monday night........I hope you and your family have a wonderful visit givem hugs from us too,Floyd has got me to doing alot of huggin............. ....................

We must have the same allergies Mike, I've been dealing with this for a couple of weeks too, it's not fun. Lots going on & things keep happening, I hate stress & drama but it seems to love me lol! Dealing with neighbors & land is driving me insane, life is so crazy...when I was in school, everyone told me I should be an attorney (not sure that was a positive point lol) that was my plan tho until God gave me a different opportunity while in college, a lot of times I wish I had that knowledge tho to know what to do in life's situations =(

One of my now coworkers worked within a couple block of the World Trade Center. A friend that races at PRP is from NYC, but happened to be here on 9/11, and lost friends. He watched the ceremony on CNN yesterday, and saw one friend's widow reading his friend's name. That's all I got to say about that.

Funny story I've got to tell you about happened lastnight,Mannie and I was watching Pass Time on tv and all at once there it was our Corvette a white conv.86 Corvette the guy I bought it from was from Goldsboro N.C.but the orin.ower was from Ga.and from what I understand was in the military and had moved back to N.C. before the guy I bought it from got it,so I had to call my friend Mike Hutchens I was so excited,I don't know why,I quess just the surprise of seeing it so unexpected,anyway now no one will reconize it because I dyed the conv.top black painted the weld wheels black and had my friend Chad at copperhead grap.put checker board on the back,so it don't look exactlly the same,one thing for sure the guy was spot on when telling me how fast the car would run he said in 1/8 mile it ran 8.40'sand on tv it ran(my favorite no.13.01 hows that for meant to be.......................... ...................................

Chuck I had forgot about bones but that was me,it was real close to coming above the cage till I lowered the seat,all corvettes are hard for me to get in,but once I'm in I'm good,and I put a swing out door bar so I could enter and exit a little better,going to be a fun little car I hope,everything is mostly stock with a TPI and 700r,so it will be fun to play with,I hope............................

Mike, I believe the Corvette is hard to get in and out of. It's like stepping down into a bathtub to get in, and stepping up out of one to get out. That's cool you got to see it on Pass Time. Email me a pic, and I'll post it up.

Good morning folks,another beautiful day here,got this crazy allergy mess kicked into high gear again,broke down and went to the dr. yesterday and she said that my lungs did'nt sound so good,and put me on a big time dose of antibiotics,and said go home and don't move I said OK, .....................................

Chuck,I can't believe I like this car it's really hard to get into,but once in it's great sit real low and comfortable,I've got to get some mirrors on it,sit so low you can'nt see out,it is kinda like a bathtub,Had'nt thought of that,oops hope I don't fall asleep like I do in the bathtub........... ...............

I'll send you a PM Mike. It's been a long time, but I think it was '93, I went to the new car show with my buddy, and sat in the Vette convertible, and it was like stepping into a bathtub. Yeah, it would be bad if Mannie was knocking on the window to kick start you.
