Guess what, I woke up this morning. Got my Drs. appt out of the way, got my prescrition fille, did some shopping with Buddy and sat around with my leg up the rest of the day. Feeling good and maybe I'll get some work done today. Need to get the hay hauler out of the trailer and maybe see about doing a Summit race tomorrow at the only track we have, 1/8 mile at Irwindale. If I want to do the ET finals I've got to get on a team.

Floyd, glad to see you home. Don't be messing with that stuff. It's a lot better to error on the sae side in this situation. No medals for being stoic.

WO, been there a couple times. Not a happy place, but don't give up, never give up, you gotta keep pluggin and hopefully, you'll soon see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Hope things are going well for everyone else. Not so very bad here.

So, got up this morning to do some touch up paint on the golf cart, and start putting it back together. Too Windy to paint, so came inside to make breakfast. The motor on the A/C unit went out. Got a new motor, and went up and opened up the unit and removed the motor. hasn't rained for months here, but since I had a hole in my roof, and messing with electricty, it decided to down pour for 30 mins. How long did it take me to finish the job...........30 mins. I must of pissed someone big off. Anyway, it's finished and the Sun is out again. Soon I can finish the paint and put the cart back together. Then waiting on a part to finish the wiring part, and we will be down the road. Hopefully it will be finished in time to take it to San Antonio next week.

6 am and all seems to be well here.
it is kinda breezy but not really out of the ordinary. i did hear a little rain during the nite but not bad.
i trust all ya'll is good , i'm ok. i guess , too early to tell.
i did see the southern counties got a bunch of rain ,down around where 266 is at broke records ,,, hope he faired fine..i have a project on the final stages so i gotta get out in the shop and get the climate rite and push on!
after catchin' a mess-a-hell the last week/10 days it's nice to feel a little relief and starting to eat a bit better but not 100 percent just yet. i;ll be alrite i suspect.
funny how 30 years of hard runnin' and drinking and raisin total hell will jack-up ones mind @ times...but hey, blessed to be sober and drug free so all is not lost! in fact it will 13 yrs. on the 17th of sept..... well i have to make a move and try and be somebody!...

way to risky to apply paint in this mess!... looks like inside sports for today and i'll just chill and get on it in the morning.
sooooo! there you have it! stinks ,but i'm not in the bussiness to take that kind of chance...

And thanks for the prayers for Mom she is hanging in there,her BP is up a little and her heart rate is good, still alittle weak and not much of a appiatate,so we'll watch from a distance and see how it goes,she don't want me to watch her around the house so I must do it as a spy would do it,what mom wants is what mom gets... ....When shes weak she stumbles alot and a fall ain't good,so we'll carry on................

Looks like most of Florida is going to get missed.
Yeah, Mike, you gotta watch mom. A fall is no good. My mom took a fall a couple of weeks ago and now she's so afraid of falling she won't get out of her chair except to go to the bathroom. Met with her insurance company to get her some help everyday till we can find a new home for her.
That semi race in S/st Michelle had was a real close one. I was sure pullin for her.

Saturday, I got the W in Street, the last day of points, to finish in 3rd place, 1 point out of second. That's my best finish so far. Feels good to be racing good, and to have the Olds back in the winner's circle.

I'm goin back to work today for my short 3 day week. Got a bunch of fires to put out.
I got to looking at the racing schedule coming up and I'm not going to the ET finals. It's the weekend before the last Heritage race and 2 weekends in a row are just too much. It's just too expensive. The ET finals are 4 days and that's at least $1000 for hotel, food, fuel and entry. I just don't think I want to spend 2 grand for 2 races. In the Heritage series I still have a chance to move higher in points so that's the one I'm going to do. Nobody said this was a cheap hobby.

Good morning ya'll,Floyd this is a expensive hobby,thats why I don't get to go much anymore,and since I've been running with Mom to Dr.app.and my dr.app.I'm tried come the weekend,so I've got to liking to sit in the recliner with Tipsey(our pup)and watch NCIS reruns,I know it sounds boring but it's kinda fun to catch the naps between comm. ....................

yest. was ugly, but as the day went on it got not so bad .
i was able to top-coat a project for a customer and confirmed mortgage money!..whew!
today i'll just un-mask and put tools up. oh, i even had a call come in and picked up some work for next week and maybe beyond. .i was beginning to think i was goin' under.

Good morning everyone. Beautiful day here in Cali, been in the high 80's for a couple of days now.

Darn it Floyd, I was hoping you were going to the ET Finals, but in this economy we all have to pick & choose what races are best for us. I guess we will be running for Sacramento this year as Mark is leading the points there and not doing as well at Sonoma.

Well in 9 days 11 hours and 35 minutes, I will be picking my daughter & son-in-law up at the airport. They haven't been home since they left for Tennessee 5 years ago. With my income situation we probably aren't going to be able to make our usual trip to Tennessee for Thanksgiving so I'm really glad they are able to make it out here.

WA so happy to hear that things are looking up for you. Hang in there, making it through the bad times always makes the good times so much better.

Mike, Chuck, Ken, Mouse, Christine, Michelle and anyone I may have forgotten.

Susie,it has been a tough year,it's harder to make money now than it has ever been,I've always been able to trade and swap around to take care of my bills,but they just ain't no money out there,or atleast non floating around,I feel your pain,and yours to WO,but I have faith we will all make it though........................ ..................................

Well Chuck I sit a new jar of jam on the table and the bisquits are about done,just got a new fresh tub of butter out of the kavinator,thanks to our new milk cow Bell,she's a pretty good young jersey cow,ifn I can get her to keep that tail out of my eyes while milking,I appreicate her keeping the flies out of my face,but early in the morning for the sun gets up,and holding a flashlight in my mouth to see,well getting the FL out of a bucket of milk is well,you know.................. ............................
Anyways the table is set now whose on coffee duty today Michelle,I'd be thinking it may be your turn............ ......................

java is on & much needed...playing catch up this week and just not getting it done, feel like we're dragging. Looking forward to a long weekend! BG was a fun weekend with the kids, how cool to have a waterpark/rides at the track...happy with the cars, came away with 3 semi finishes the rd that sux to lose-lotta laps but no cigars, just not happy with some 'odd' numbers..sometimes that's racing, leave it there and get ready for zMax
