Mornin Everybody!
Supposed to rain here in SoCal today but that won't bother anything. Got an early appointment to see about getting rid of a cataract on my left eye. 6 months ago they did a vitrectomy and repaired a torn retina and the Doctor said it would probably cause a cataract. He was right. I tried to get the same doctor to do this but he said he only works on the back of the eye, not the front. How bout that, a little organ like the eye and they divide it between specialists.
Maybe it will help me see the tree better. I haven't seen it with 2 eyes in about 3 years.

How come they's almost all furiners? Are they the only ones that got hands small enough to work in little places?
I told the retina specialist about my drag racing and he didn't know what it was. I'm pretty sure the cataract specialist won't know either cause she's young and oriental. Kinda good lookin though. No No

Mornin' all. MTD and Floyd, hope all the medical stuff goes well. Mike, c'mon up, you won't need to mow any grass today. You might need a shovel though, and you will need a warm coat. Mikey, real sorry to hear about Lexi.

It's 30 degrees and they're calling for maybe 2 inches of snow today. Just 2 days ago, we were at PRP and laying it down. This is Ma Brewer's husband Mark, the pic does not do the car justice:

Good Morning, sorry it took so long. I have a terrible sinus headache, infection whatever! It's this weather! Can't believe I had to sweep off my steps this morning! Good grief! Hope all is well with everyone.
Thanks Chuck for putting Mark's picture up. He's still having trouble with wheel hopping after a couple of runs. So I told him to put the Mach I away and bring out good ole Bessie! The Copper Mustang! We all know how good she is! LOL Thanks for taking lots of pictures!

The Brewers are a Ford family through and through. Bessie is about one of the cleanest, well detailed '66 coupes you'll ever see going high 10s/low 11s. Markie Jr has a '78 Mustang II in the 10s. Joey has a pair of Fox bodies, one hatch in the high 12s/low 13s, one Ma's former notch. And then there's the '68... went low 8s with the blown small block. Now it's in the 9s for Christine..

Ever see a one-legged fella at an a s s kickin' contest? That's kinda what it looked like with me pullin' the tranny on my car today! Thinkin' maybe the converter is gettin' tired despite the fact that the fluid looked pretty normal and no debris! Use one them motorcycle jacks as a "tranny jack" and have the car jacked up high enough so I can lower tranny and remove converter which I pulled (Nothing rattling around), boxed up and shipped UPS to Continental today. Will know if that's what was slowing us down at Super Chevy as daughter went down to final 10 cars cutting an .003 light but the car just would not run the number!
By getting to the 1/8's she is going to share her $100 in winning with dear old dad! Don't you just love those kinda kids? Eyes Eyes Wink Big Grin I'm stupid Smile just do it Cool

Good Morning! Snowed last night, the lake effect kind. Head still pounding, but did call Doctor and she issued meds for me.

Guy, arent' race cars fun! I think the transmission is the most hardest to get out, but it does depend on what kind of race car. But I could tell that your a man on a mission! Hope everything goes well and win some more money!!

Chuck T: Mission today is to check valve springs as yesterday's mission--getting converter out and shipped--was accomplished. If I do find a broken spring I have the Jesel tool to remove it with the head on the car and replace it. If it were a valve spring, wouldn't it show up in the 60 foots as well as in the other incrementals? The 60' times remained pretty stable as did launch rpm's! I have Jesel Sportsman shaft rockers on the Dart Pro 1 CNC heads. Plugs are all out so should be able to turn motor over with a breaker bar is my body strength hasn't all been zapped! Couldn't believe it only cost me $15 and change to ship my converter via UPS to Inglewood, CA to Continental and send it yesterday and they will have it tomorrow! Should have it back next week to get back in by night of the 18th, my next Summitt Series race! Mike: My daughter has had me listen to a new song out by Brooks & Dunn that she really like and I do to but don't remember the name but it is something about "Daddy gave me my first car!" If you haven't heard it listen for it! It is good!
You all have a bang up day today! Banging Head Banging Head Eyes Wink Big Grin I'm stupid Smile just do it Cool
