Just got back from my post/op visit with my Dr.
He said the damage was alot worse than he had thought, and he had to do a different procedure, which means i'm going to be off longer than the 2 weeks he had originally thought.
Looks like my racing for the year is over. Oh well.
See y'all later.

That's a shame, Mouse. You got anybody else you can put in the seat?
I guess Guy Price is done racing. The doctor said no more. He'll be crewing for his daughter.

Clean and green, Michelle.

Good morning gang!! missed getting to check in, Rick & Madi have been doing b'fast on the grill at the track...almost as good as Uncle Mikes Wink Congrats Chuck!!! way to get it done, proud of ya!!
Thanks to all of you for the shouts & thoughts this weekend...we were thinking the same thing Mike...Madi said she was in the stands with our friends for 1st rd & the announcer said the girl from Va gets a tuf draw in Ray Miller then we all knew Bo was our #1 guy on the I side for 2nd rd (Madi said they all went crazy when the light finally would come on lol-I was celebrating down the track too when I finally got to see that flashing bulb on the wall, I'm thinkin the safety safari got a kick out of it too Big Grin ) . 3rd rd my guy was ahead .03 at the 1000, I thought he was faster, (lesson learned, I'll know next time) pushed him as far as I could & dropped to be .010 behind & above but 5 thous slower-I was going high 8.89...I've relived a lot of 'ifs' the last couple of days on that one. I've got the best friends & family tho...Rick is happy, good runs & good lites, Madi gave me one of her customary 'after' talks, "I'm so proud of you Mom, you know there is only one winner but you're always our winner..you did good" (God really blessed me when he picked out my family for me!)

Busy day at work, hugs & prayers all around...

Mornin' all! Awesome weekend! Hot Rod Magazine's Drag Week came through on Friday morning at PRP, so I was the announcer for that, and it was a great show. It was so cool to see 7-8-9 second rides drive in and drive out, no trailers. Friday night, I picked up a W, car was great, I did what I needed to do on the tree to pick up 6 bones. Saturday was PRP's nostalgia day, fantastic show all the way around. My buddy's 40th birthday is today, so it was off to his party after that. Got home and the Cutlass died, battery was dead, alternator probably the culprit. Easy fix for the this week's bracket finals.

Mouse, sorry your racing is over for the year, but I hope the time off is good for your mental and physical health.

Floyd, I'll have to hit the links from home, but sounds like what Christine and the family did for Mark.. he made 1 last pass as well. RIP Hector. Let us know if they catch the SOB/s who did this.

Marty, good to see you stopping in. R&R is good stuff.

Hi Mike! Wave Sounds like you had yourself a good weekend also.

You did great Michelle! I know those "ifs" and I don't like 'em! But, it's all part of racing. Sounds like you are really back on track, got the tree and car in harmony, nice work, crew chief Rick! (Ma can call him HL Big Grin) Man, how can you not hug Madi to pieces after one of those talks? hug

Mornin' all! My Friday! Woo hoo! Off the rest of the week for bracket finals at PRP, going to try to stay a hot shoe and get me an Ironman.

Thanks Mike! I'd like to get the Ironman, or a win at our Halloween race, or a win at Norwalk, either the no box race, or the Classic. That would be a nice way to end the season. Love me some bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits, good to eat on the go as I cram a week into 2 days here.

Get 'em at Super Chevy, Michelle! Gotta love that nice little surprise, sweet!!

Hey Mouse, hope you're feeling all right. Check out VFN fiberglass if you haven't already. What I've seen from them I've liked. Don't know if Harwood does anything besides scoops and hoods, but maybe check them out too.
