Mourning all. Floyd, so sorry to hear about Hector. I join you in hoping the murderers do not make it to court, and soon. The world needs all the good guys it can get, especially ones who drag race. for all of Hector's family and friends.

Hi Mike! Sorry, worked late last night, and had to have me a big egg sammich with ham and cheese, so I cleaned out the diner.

Wondering if Mouse had the surgery this week too, and how he ran over the weekend.

Thanks Mike and Chuck. It was all over our local TV last nite. He was well respected and loved by many, even outside the VW circle. There is going to be a memorial for him at Irwindale Raceway Thursday the 16th of Sept.
They even advertised the memorial on TV. It will be huge.

Well ya'll have a gooden and prayers all over the place,and Mannie had his first practice yesternight(MT)for peewee football,too funny,no pads and this little guys,before and after practice was taclking each other,and restling for the ball,too funny,but the coach told them not to tackle without pads,I didn't listen either when I was 8yrs.old,oh wait,that ain't a good example,going to be fun watching this year,I'll keep ya'll updated.............................

The Dr. said that the hip looked great and that I looked to be doing great,so all must be great,and he said to wait till first of the yr,to do my new knee,so thats ok,it'll be cold,and yucky outside,and I can recop while the snow flies,can you say racing next season,without hurting,alot,that would be cool...................... ..................................

Alright the Diner is open,and we got eggs,the lady at Wally World,said you must love eggs,I said I do,but got some racing friends,that love em too,lol,late night refirge raids,have at it,did't even wake me up,thats what clean living and good sleeping will do for ya,can't wait to experience both.............. ............................................

I posted topics but we're in a bind, the bushing wasn't there, chewed up in the transfer case and the mechanic sees a crack in the case, told us this at 5 pm yesterday...can't find a transfer case, any ideas let us know....thanks.

Mornin Y'all!
I kinda took it easy yesterday figurin I would just bolt the rocker arm stands back on just like they came off. Shaft rockers are great for low maintenance and reliability but if you make any changes you have to start all over with the setup. I must have had then on and off 6 times yesterday trying to get the right geometry. It's a lot harder with the motor in the truck, dam fenders get in the way. I think I got all the spacers figured out so I'm starting earlier this morning so I can get 'er done.
Michelle, I hope you find that transfer case.

i hate this weather. Weather man said 60% chance of rain. Me, being smart, I stay out till 6:30 yesterday watching football. Well now the rain has past and i have to go racing today. OHHH i got 2 hours of sleep before i had to go to work. I am just about getting off. LORD give me the energy to focus for 15 seconds and be .00x all day.

Hector was a good guy, Floyd...such a shame.

We're still working on the transfer case, looks like e'thing is Mon morning. Rick is working on ol Betsy-our 90 Chev dually-Madi's laid claim to her when she's 16, 454 with a few issues but hopefully she'll make the trip if we can't get the duramax fixed.

I've had a lot of life going on the past week, and needed to get myself back together. Prayers would be helpful to me, if i could ask for them.
Starting to get kind of nervous about my surgery on Wednesday. I know it will be ok, just got a few butterflys floating around.

Well i had a finals appearance taken away from me. New London does not have a scoreboard. Just a small beta lights i think they are called above the tree. Well It was said (by the other driver) that the dial in were shown then went to showing car numbers. All i saw shown were the car numbers. I went ahead and prestage as he had done and my temp hand was were i wanted it. I got red. Get back to the pits and i am mad because i am saing its no way i went red. A buddy of mines looks at my ticket and says oh you would have broke out. I didn't tell him i was holding 4. He said you dialed 7:25. I was like do what. i had 7:27 on the window and in the box. Well im .010 red and if you add the .02 and im .010 to the green. Sad thing is i know i would have won the race. I am still heated over this. I told them i was going to take my little 150 and buy them binocaulars (sp)

Tee,dats racing,somedays are diamonds,some days are a chuck of coal,diamonds are good,so you can try it again,but coal is good also,it can keep you warm,and in my experience,I got more coal racing than diamonds......... .................................................................
