Mornin' all! Back piloting my LMFD after being on the road for a couple days. Woo. Damn rain washed us out Saturday after first round. I ended up in 4th, my best to date. And I'm proud of the guys and gals I race with in the Street class. Good competition all year long.

Floyd, sounds like a fitting memorial developing for Hector. I'll lift one to him this week as well.

Mouse, I get butterflies going for a check up... must be that "white coat fever" or something. Prayers for you, for surgery and everything.

Tee, that rots. Any way you could wait to stage until seeing your dial in? Never seen the car numbers come through on a scoreboard or spot box. But, congrats on the final.. maybe tired is the way you need to race?? Big Grin

Brandon, good to see you stopping by. Is your custody stuff over? PRP's GGG flyer should be up soon. Just sayin', in case you might be tempted. Big Grin

Michelle, so sorry about your cousin. hug I hope you find the parts you need too.

Hi Mike! Wave It is getting into foosball weather. I liked Waterboy a lot too. Big Grin Gaaaaaaatorrrrade! Frying up a couple egges to put on that country ham sammich, along with a couple slices of cheese.

Hi Y'all! Hectors wake had about 700 people Sunday evening. The funeral Monday morning had they say, over 1000 people and 300 cars in the procession. Cars were 3 wide over 2 blocks long going to the cemetery. The TV stations even attended. What a send off! crying Praying

SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR FRIEND FLOYD, I HOPE THEY GET THE SHOOTER. I'M A RETIRED COP AND WE HAVE A KILLING JUST ABOUT EVERY DAY IN BATON ROUGE. IT'S SAD TO LOOSE ONE OF OUR FELLOW RACERS THAT WAY. I WILL PRAY FOR HIS FAMILY.

Morning, good luck this weekend Michelle, hope ya'll have fun,and a real good time for the luck factor to kick in,probably won't make it down,so ya'll keep McCreary staight.........................

Mouse it is a nerve wrecking time, but just think positive, and all will be ok,I've had 5 major surgreies since I was 17,and they all make you nervous, but I've gotten to the place where I now just think of it like a short vaction to somewhere,I don't really want to go,but go because it's where the rest of the family voted to go,the Dr.wants to do another surgrey on my knee come Jan.2011,so I'm going to think of it as the vaction to the zoo,I don't care for the zoo, when I want to go smell poop,I go to my barn, and smell poop.....lol..................................................

Well come and get it,got eggs and bacon and cheese biscuits, biscuits is a little flat this morning, forgot something, but they taste good..........................................

Hey Chuck, you da man,I like realility racing,a guy once told me,that racing is reality, not a fairy tale, and I've thought alot about that over the years, but a good fairy tale is cool every once in a while, lol,oh and Wave............ Big Grin...............................

Mornin' all! Nice day today... wish I was racing or playing hooky.

Awesome tribute to Hector, Floyd. That had to be a sight.

Mouse, hang in there, you'll be out of there in no time.

Good luck Michelle, I'll try to check out DRC on Friday in the tower at PRP. You're getting a Wally before Madi!! Big Grin

Hi Mike! Wave I like that some.... I try to balance racing in with everything else, but man, I love to race. Even if I lose, and lose badly, I still got to drive my heap down the track, always gives me a rush, and at the end of the night, I'm changing tires and driving it home. Life is good!

Evening!

Floyd, please accept my condolences. So very sorry to hear of your friend passing.

Michelle, please accept my condolences for your loss. Please know that your loved ones are in great company now. Try and find peace and comfort! Both of you have and will be in my prayers!

Good luck Michelle! It's your turn to go, "Winner, winner, chicken dinner!!"

See you Friday Chuck with my cooler filled with cool refreshing beverages. This time I will stay away from the winner circle picture taking!! LOL

I am still plugging along. Some things are starting to come together, others, well still working on it. Just one day at a time!

Have to give a shout out to my boys! All my boys! Joey won street as Chuck told you guys! Markie came in third, and after some "hoopla" after the races, and everyone calmed down, he handled himself like a man. I am soooo proud of all my boys!! Mark is just grinning from ear to ear and shaking his head and giving me a wink like he would always do when the kids were on a roll!! He's proud! We all have come along way! Love my boys!!

Okay everyone, been thinking and praying for you all!! Mike, need more protein for my exams next week! I know we all will have a great breakfast!!

Hugs and kisses!!!

Mornin yáll, I haven't been on here for a while and a lot of stuff has gone on.
First off, Floyd I'm really sorry to hear about your friend Hector.....I sure hope they catch the M'Fers that did this awfull thing.Condolences for the family and many friends that will never recover from their loss.

My attention span restricted me from going through all the pages I've missed.
I've been busy with chemo and going to the races when not sick.I won't bore you with my problems...well except for Chuck....I am still trying to see if I can make PRP for the BFs.
I take chemo on Tues. and Fri. and sick on Sat. and Sunday....so if the labs is good I will skip that treatment and BE THERE....hope I hope I hope. Big Grin

Mornin Y'all!
Mike, it's nice to start off a mornin with words like that from a sage like you.
Christine, thank you. hug

This afternoon is the memorial for Hector. Went over to Marty's on the way home to help him get his car back together to at least do a parade lap. Laid in a case of Dos Equis and a bunch of red cups for the last hurrah for our departed friend. While I'll be thinking of him this afternoon, I'll also be thinking of my friends here that have sent their best wishes and have also suffered the pain of loss. God Bless each and everyone of you. Praying Angel hug crying RIP

Mornin' all! My Friday, woo hoo! Hot Rod Magazine's Drag Week comes to PRP tomorrow morning, so I took the day off to see it. I would love to try to do that some year. Then racing tomorrow night, hopefully I race well, and can get into the winner's circle. Bring the beer if I do, Christine! Big Grin

I left Markie's story to you, proud mom. Just to expand... after the Labor Day weekend, Mark Romeo and Ron Boyce were tied for first, with Markie 1 point behind them. All 3 won first round Saturday, but the rain came in and messed everything up. We couldn't get another round in. It sucked to end the points series that way, but no one controls the weather. I get a smile and a tear thinking of how big the smile would be on Big Brewer's face, on how well Joey and Markie did all year.

Mouse, glad surgery went ok. Listen to the docs, take the bedrest. Hope you're back up and at 'em soon.

Hi Mike! Wave Never tried the pintos, unless they've been in my chili or baked beans. Might just stick with a biscuit. Big Grin

Glad to hear from you, Bob. I sure hope you will be able to join us, even for a day or night. We're going to lift a toast up to Andrew at Rick's. So, if you make it, am I contributing to the deliquency of an adult?? Big Grin

Floyd, I'll be thinking of you all too. From here at my LMFD, it will have to be a Mountain Dew, til I get home at least.

Go get 'em Michelle!!
