Prayers for your mom, too. I'm sorry to hear she's not doing so well again. I hope that the doctors will find some way to help her and that God eases her pain/discomfort.

Mike, glad to hear they transplanted1 some of your skull bone into your knee! That oughta make it possible for you to really kick some arse now! Hope your mom respond well also! My wife has decided it's time to get her haircut and frosted again so we are goin' down to our old stompin' grounds this weekend and my brother who has been a hairdresser all his life is gonna try and pump some grey strings in her hair to match my few strands of hair. Will stay far enough away from the border to so as to not be used as a "mule" as I don't need anything to make me more of an "ass"! Will be leaving Thursday a.m. and should be back home Sunday sometime. Maybe the cooler (110) tempertures will be back by then. Supposed to get up close to 115 Friday or Saturday. Hope everything goes well for the "family" on here this weekend while I'm outa pocket. No matter what you may be doin', good luck!

Went to the nose Dr. today and he's gonna do surgery on it come Aug. 5. Hasn't healed since I had surgery in 2007 and some idiot tried to shove an oxygen hose up my nose incorrectly and scrapped it pretty bad. Said if I didn't let 'em put the hose up there I would get pnuemonia! Told them I would rather have pneumonia! Gonna take a biopsy and cauterize it(left nostril)! Told grandaughter they were gonna make it bigger so I could use my index finger to pick my nose rather than my pinky! Don't think she believed me!

hey Gang!! Here's one for our team as I just went thru 12 very scary hours...Rick & I have been at our annual work seminar this week where I found out at 11pm on Wed night that I had received a "call back" from the routine mammogram I had done on our way there Tuesday. It took a lot of effort but was able by driving over to the breast clinic from the seminar to convince them to schedule me Thurs for the redo. After more pics & ultrasound, I'm okay-just bad initial photos! Really went thru some terrifying thoughts when I didn't know tho. Wow, does that ever put life in perspective and makes my heart go out even more to Ma B, Bob & Karen and everyone else who does face this horrible disease.

That's good news, Michelle, Glad it worked out for you. My first wife just had a radical massectomy a few months ago. She's fine now. She wanted to show me the scars but I said just wait for tne new ones and send me some pictures.

We're having Guy's weather here. It was 109 when I left work yesterday and it's 80 degrees now @ 7:00. If I was racing this weekend, I wouldn't be. Goin to be a quiet day stayin inside today. No sense in Chewy and me workin up a sweat.

Got a dr appt this afternoon to see if he can figure out what is wrong ith my knees, or at least refer me to a specialist. I'm tired of eating 5-6 Alieve everyday just to dull the pain.
