Hi gang! G'luck today Mike. Sending thoughts & prayers for all you guys!

We're going to the beach so lots of smiles here today. I'm so thankful for everything in our lives and we are truly blessed. But I've got to fuss a little cause racing just sux. I've had bad times before but never have I went thru this being so close but can't get it done...it is the most frustrating thing! This weekend at Richmond in HR-I'm .012, he's .003, I'm .0005 stripe to go .981 to his .990... in TD I'm .003, he's .015, I go .005 under... I realize the 2 options are take some time off or drive thru it but it's been this way for a long time & it's getting hard to find the positives anymore. Feel free to share your ideas..I'm all out. K, enough of that.

Hey, did I mention what a GREAT family I have and we're going to the beach?? Wink Ice Cream Hope you all have a wonderful, happy day!!

Afternoon all! No racing for us this past weekend, rain continues to get in the way. So a bunch of us went bowling. I'm happy just to break 100. Got to see my newest niece yesterday, and spend some time with my sister and nieces. Katie is on the left of the pic, Evie on the right, and their sister doesn't have a name yet.

Every baby loves the Cadillac level mattress I provide them. Big Grin They sleep like, well, babies! Laughing

Just amazes me... brings happy tears to my eyes. Good stuff.

Hi Mike! Wave I hope your time at the dentist goes ok. I don't like going either.

Christine, hug hug loved the prayer.

Michelle, you're racing great, just getting tough draws that are matching you and getting the luck to go their way. It's not like you forgot how to race. Wanna shake it? Take the box out of the Camaro and come footin' with us at the WFC!! Big Grin Or tune up the brakes and send everyone! I hope you have a great time at the beach.

Mouse, hope you're doing ok.

Morning everyone.
Chuck, i'm am doing better.
Ok, i think i'm ready to try to tell you guys the story now.
A few weeks ago a young lady sent me a message saying her name, her mothers name, her birthday, and then told me it was her understanding that i was her father. I thought about it for a day before i responded back to her. The timeline of when her mother and i were together fit, and looking at her picture, i could see some resembelance. This was 25 years ago and i had never heard a thing about her and never knew of her excistsance. Her mother and i dated shortly before my wife and i started dating.
She would ask her mother questions about me, and at one point her mother told her that i had been killed in a car accident.
Her grandmother recently told her the truth that i was alive and supported her decision to contact me. After a couple of days of chatting back and forth we agreed to have a DNA test done, and her mother knew about this. In the mean time we had gotten close by chatting with each other, because we were both sure that i was her father.
Well Thursday we got the resulys back that i was not her father, and needless to say we wer both devistated. Not only has this young ladies mother lied to her for all these years, but she still does not know who her father is.
I think i have accepted that i am not her father, but she has toucjed a place in my heart that i never knew excisted, and i am so afraid that i will not hear from her anymore, and that is what is hurting me so much now.
We both could use your prayers to help of find some peace through this time.
Thanks guys.

Hey choppers, I mean Mike! Big Grin
Chuck, good thing the babies eyes were closed, you migh of scared her. Rolling
Mouse, Good luck, Buddy. The same thing happened to my brother a few months ago and it damn near cost him his marriage. He got a letter from a girl in Germany that thought she was his daughter. The mother wasn't completely sure but the girl found him from military records and the internet. He was stationed in Germany '65,'66 and part of '67. My brothers wife of 40 + years opened the letter and blew her cork. Luckily she finally relented. He was young and 1000's of miles from home and it was before he met her.
The point is don't let this hurt your current life. Peace, Brother.

Mornin' all! Good night last night. Hopped off the bus at the Mickey D's not too far from my place, and met up with 7 other racers to hang out for a spell since they were having a cruise night before we went and got dinner and shot the breeze for another couple hours. Some cool rides, good people and good food.

Wow, Mouse, that's certainly a roller coaster emotionally, for you both. If you don't mind the question, could you be an "unofficial" uncle? Continued prayers for you both.

Yep, I do love being the uncle. I get to give 'em back when they get too fussy. Floyd, when Evie was about 8 months, and finding her legs, we were sitting around the dinner table. She was fine with me holding her, until she turned around, then started bawling. So next time I held her, anytime she tried turning to see who had her, I ducked to her other side. It looked like something out of a cartoon. It worked for a little bit. Big Grin

Hi Mike! Wave Now I'm going to have "Getcha Some" in my head today. Hope the pain isn't too bad today. I sure feel for you, getting 4 pulled. I know how bad having 1 pulled felt.

Come footin' Michelle! Big Grin Don't know when I'll see you next if you don't. The weekend you come to PRP, I leave for the beach.

Takin' the wife to her doctor today for her first visit after becoming eligible for Medicare on June 1 and the first since her surgery some 18 months ago when her Cobra insurance played out and then no one would accept her unless I gave them both legs and one arm and I told them I couldn't race in that condition and she decided to keep me in one piece. Hopefully they can find what is causing her "restless leg syndrome" so she can sleep like a white woman once more, at night! Later! Eyes Confused Sleep Praying Cool

Floyd, i have the best wife in the world. She's had a couple of emotional times, but she realizes that it was before her and i knew nothing of this yound lady.
Chuck, i'm hoping for something like that. I told her that if i couldn't be her father, i'd love to be a part of her life somehow. It's all up to her, but i'm hoping.

Mornin' all! We're in for a rainy day here. Hoping Mother Nature gets it out of her system now and lets us race both days this weekend.

Mouse, I'm glad to hear your wife understands. The whole issue could be a powder keg. I'm hoping for something like that for you too. It sounds like she could use some good influence.

Hey Mike! Wave I hope mom is doing well. Nothing like homegrown maters mmm mmm good.

Pulling for Bob to come through his big race with a W as well.

Big L, where you been?
