I am following the Official guidelines of frequently washing my hands.

My wife cooks three meals a day, I wash the dishes three times a day. I believe that I got the better end of this deal.

We aren't going anywhere, been home alone for the past seven days.

you are right, but the problem is too many people out and about that are not showing symptoms yet, or still trying to go about their daily routine with symptoms. IF people would use common sense none of this would be necessary.

Too bad politics has to be involved in EVERYTHING.

Democrat governors are banning the use of Hydroxychloroquine to treat Coronavirus even though thousands of doctors across the country are saying it is “highly effective” in treating COVID19 patients.

Why?

NY Gov Cuomo updated an executive order Monday to block pharmacists from filling prescriptions for the drug hydroxychloroquine for any uses not approved by the FDA.

That means that a NY doctor who successfully treated 350 patients w/ COVID19 can no longer prescribe the drug.

The bane of mankind is, and always will be, that he is a political animal. I can never forget the line by Ripley Burke (Sigourney Waver) in the film Aliens (1986): "You know, Burke, I don't know which species is worse. You don't see them ****ing each other over for a goddamn percentage."

But you sure do mankind! JMO

I haven't heard what the logic is here. Kinda strange.

I couldn't find anything along these lines either.

I did see that the state of New York acquired a bunch of the drug and ordered trials to begin immediately.

A good example of what? Success? Explain.

On another subject: I may have mentioned it before. But very useful in addition to data regarding how many are testing positive, would be how many show that they have already had the virus. If the test can also show the markers left by already having the virus, that could be very useful in knowing what risks there are for opening things back up...for overwhelming the medical facilities. We are sailing somewhat blind without it. We need data to be able to defend pragmatic decisions.

Why did Trumps experts tell him to dump NY into the ocean right after California?

I would like to know what his EXPERTS told him to do that would have made NY's situation any different?

Here is the story that speaks to the governor and this drug. I think it has more to do with shortages than restricting access.

Search gov.uk, in the search box enter high consequence infectious diseases. Apparently on March 19 2020 covid - 19 was downgraded because low mortality rate according to documents.

In other other underground / non msm news I see some in the Truth movement lining up to blame greed - vile maxim like it's a new revelation, and others lining up behind what seem to be so far, trust the plan fairy tales.

I'm impartial so it's an interesting catastrophe unfolding.

I also saw an official from the FED say on 60 Minutes (TV) there is no limit on the amount of money which can be created. Which I've always known. There's only one stip to it... As long as everyone accepts it with a smile as payment, this isn't an opinion, it's fact.

Re-read your post... but slowly.

Do they even teach federalism in schools anymore? Our Republic was not designed for the federal government to be the go-to, be-all, end-all. There's precious little that the federal government is even *supposed* to do. States are supposed to be largely autonomous, and for good reason. New York is not the same as Idaho. Different regions experience different conditions, which require different solutions. Sure, the federal government can provide some guidance and resources, but the States should take the lead.

And all the states are looking to the President and his team for answers on what to do so if it does not work they can blame someone other than themselves. Anymore any decision made seems to have the concern of backlash in the next election rather than addressing the actual issues at the state level.

Anyone concerned about food, find a restaurant that is being forced to close.

I found a cracker barrel local with an over supply. I bought every bit of steak, chicken and ground beef from a local cracker barrel, pennies.

We're eating tiny portions in order to conserve.

Mike and Freddie, I could not agree more. You guys are spot on. This gives States flexibility and allows them to treat different areas differently. Cities and urban areas, even burbs, do not need the same things that rural areas need.
