"BREAKING NEWS" have no fear, the yukster is here. i sense a challenge for the lime-slime which i am willing to spit the rods out of the pan for. the little yoda will eat crow after this is all done. a butt beating is mere childs play for what awaits him. i call my entire blue oval army for this race. this irrational prejudice against the mean-green-machine will not be tolerated. Special thanks to Bill Prest Jr. for sponsoring this race...thanks for donating Bill. Hey Andy, See where Bill is willing to put up a $100 bill to sponsor the prize money for this race....I told you he was a good guy. I am willing to run for Bill's money...are you Andy?

Wayne, I knew you would be there. Bringing any of that Apple Pie to the Great Pumpkin Race? I would love to see your impression of Evil Knievel again....that was some funny stuff there, well for the rest of us.

Is it just me or did the General's post seem like he was talking all about himself again....yoda, lime slime, getting a butt beating...sounds like self description to me.

Kenny, can you pair Andy and I up as the last car in Mod and the first car in Top during the second timed run. The tower would only have to put in our dials for that run for this to happen without affecting the needed pace for the great pumpkin race.

No backing out now Andy....Prest has put up the money, Kenny has verbally committed to this race and the Yukster has weighed in.....lets go. Car

This is what I like to see. None of that sissy ass girl fighting. No scratching eyes, no pulling hair and no kicking in the nuts. Choke the hell out of each other, hit someone with a steel chair, bounce their head of the steps and then make them tap out.

Now what about this Yuk guy. We got another midget to step up. I love me some midget wrestling.

Mentioning Yuk, I must share my encounter with the General. We were paired first rd. in the Track Champ run-off. Before the race the General was marching around getting the troops in order for the battle ahead. Up the hill we go to the water box, Yuk yapping to himself all the way. Burnouts complete and me prestaged Yuk unleashes a couple of the most fierce clean-out revs anyone has ever heard. ( I was just glad nothing was deposited on the track!). I light the stage bulb and the General goes into attack mode, bobble, bobble, bobble, he stages and just destroys the tree. Yuk is headed down track and a 1/2 hr later I get to go. I look up and the slime lime looks like a booger on the wall, I can still tell its green but cant make out exactly what it is. Approaching the mph line it comes into clear view, but it seems to be all out of poison power. At the stripe I am still looking at tail lights but able to stick the nose in front at the same time. My win light comes on and the General and Slime Lime has been defeated. In the end Yuk was about a foot short but we all knew that from the beginning. In all seriousness Yuk put together a helluva run .008 tree and .015 off dial. Congrats on winning the street class this season. You deserved it.

keith,
very awesome description of the race. have no fear of those pro-stock clean outs. i must tell everyone that i never saw you but i did hear you coming. i gave it my best & i am very proud of giving you a race for your money. i would hope i did my footbrake brothers justice. however, congrats to you. you have been on some kind of roll this year. you are "THE MAN". it was a blast to race you & let this be a lesson to all the sissys that don't want to race you long & skinnys. just shut up, line up & run your race. i appreciate all the top guys who came up & gave me props. also want to give congrats to all the other class champions & all the junior champs. a very special thank you to glenda hake for all she has done this year for the track. see everyone at the pumpkin race.

Truthfully, I could see brake lights and already be by him at the same time!!

At half track there was alot of air between us then all of a sudden ...WHOOOOOOOOOOP... the air was gone! LOL

Done some calculations yesterday anmd at 106 mph Yuk was covering 155 feet per second. At 171 mph I was covering 250 feet per second. 5 ft from the stripe he was still 3 ft in front of me. Stripe was .011 (20 inches)in my favor

Isn't Yuk always "UGLY"??????? I have known John many years, and UGLY fits. RollingUnless you Fabulous Ford Fellas feel differently hug

Andy, I am ready for ya. I will be at the Quake this Sunday provided the weather holds out. I have been trying some new speed secrets big idea and therefore didnt want you Fabulous Ford Fellas to be messing around my car like the time you all broke in and put that awful blue oval flag on it.

I am picking up my sticker for your car this week. When you lose, I will be very happy to help you display this fine piece of artwork on your ride.
