And the General remains silent??? Missing

Andy... if you are concerned about breakage with the Ford, you can borrow my Fiesta. The (lack of)Powertrain is still under warranty.

I may have the insided info on what the General has been up to.
Today I received a call from Uncle Jack (Roush). Seems our little General has been out in Indiana bothering Bob (Glidden)looking for some advice. Now this is from an anonymous source so take it for what its worth, but the Madman has chosen to brake off from the General and go his own way! Maybe a little friction in the blue oval group? hmmmm! So the General has contacted Bob to get a tune up for old grey balls (Andy) for the weekend. They got something stiring thats for sure, ole' yeller been sitting for a long time.Psssst! Andy is rumored to be using an illegal intake that is covered up by Yuks old green driving suit. More on this later...

The BLUE OVAL ARMY is silent....that is a first. No Madman, No Andy, No General, No Madman Jr......WTF. I am a little worried that Andy is going to be a "NO SHOW"

Seems we have a security leak...Mr. Garlic has found some classified info...but he doesn't have it all! Hum
For the Culpster, here is a little look into the future...the view he will have at the stripe...notice the brake lights as I wait for him to come into sight...

What's all that black stuff under the car....aw yeah, probably axle grease...LOL.... That might be the view at the starting line based on recent history, eh???

I guess there could be uglier cars to race, but I am not sure that I could come up with one....maybe a minivan....or a ugo.

At least that one leaves the line without the help of a tractor or Forklift.... Rolling

The general called....he switched alliances and has decided that routing for a Ford driven by Andy may not be the best way to go. He has decieded to join the Bowtie Brigade...

have no fear, "POISON POWER IS HERE". this will be a race to the death. all should beware, rumors are flying about the new yukster coming out. thats correct, another sinister machine from the dark side. andy you can borrow the lime-slime if you need to. jimmy, we can only hope that your so called race car is worthy of the blue oval army's time. it seems that even the champ [keith] has doubts in your car. what are the stakes? we can't go title for title as your heap won't fetch much cash at the crusher. what's the odds in vegas? this means war!!!!!!!

Shawn,

If you get the car, pick it up, shake it vigorously to make sure that all the Clowns fall out...so far I have only seen one leave that car, but based on my experiences at a circus when I was a child I know they can get at least 8 or 10 clowns in one of those cars.

Top Ten Excuses that I expect to hear from Andy after the Grudge Race...

10) Broke the Mustang and had to drive the Fairmont

9) No Box in the car and I have not footbraked or driven off the bottom bulb in a long time

8) Madman was dozing intead of installing the Box in the Fairmont

7) Ran out of Fuel......AGAIN!!!!

6) Couldn't drive the stripe because of the big yellow hood

5) Not used to the race lasting more than 9 seconds and I fell asleep

4) Wayne cheated me at the starting line

3) Drank too much "Apple Pie" on Friday Night

2) My prostate acted up and I had to tinkle

And the number one most likely excuse will be.....

1) Blinded by the reflection off of General Yuk's Skull Shine

Culp, Hate to agree with ya, but those excuses are ALL possibilities. Don't think I'll need any as the WIN light should come on in my lane!!
Bob Glidden and Larry Morgan just left here. They put a heck of a tune on the Yellow Monster and we're ready to rock and roll!!

All kidding aside,

This will be a fun weekend. However, I do suggest that we not forget that there are groups of people that will be collecting money for some serious causes and could use a donation as you drive through the gate. Please be aware of these fund raisers and think about providing a little help to each of them. It does not have to be much, just a little starts to add up when you have several racers and families donate.
