Isn't that the name of the male dancer Andy, Yuk, and the Madman hang out with? Well, whatever floats your boat Lou.

Pink....the briggs and stratton brigade has come face to face with the general and boy was he fired up. I guess it all started when they tried to hook is pinto to the back of a Jr. Tow Vehicle mistaking it for their car. One of the mothers actually tried to wash his mouth out with soap thinking he was someones kid....he got grounded yesterday and was not allowed to leave his pit spot for the entire day.

Mr Prest I was on the track too and if they don't do something about the cracks then they will always have that problem when it rains so they better buy some equipment to suck the water out or start watch racers go elsewhere due to iffy weather forcast. I guess they should just race on cloudy days then but not too cloudy that it may rain.

Well I guess they are trying to run the program and staging lanes like Norwalk so might as well have a comparable track surface. With the money invested I would be willing to bet that he is not going to let this be a problem for long. The track surface and traction was great Friday and Saturday.

The track was weeping last year, just not as bad. Guess it got worse over the winter. If it rained heavy during the week the crew would come down every so often and blow it dry, it was right in front of my pit spot.

Racetracks are like women. The way I see it is that you have a new owner and track manager with dealing with an experienced and well worn track. So like a new relationship, Greg has to feel his way through what makes the track happy and how to deal with unexpected issues. So they rub a little here and touch this or that until he can find out what makes the track want to cooperate and allow the rest of us to take a turn (down the track). After the relationship is a few months old, Greg will know exactly how to get the old girl to cooperate and everyone will be happy as well. Except for Yuk....he is never happy.

I think we need to show some patience here. Think about how bad these guys want to race as well. They have been giving out rain checks for the past couple of weeks which means they are not making any money. In fact, I believe they have only gotten to run one saturday and one friday program to completion....that is a lot of income that they have not collected while still paying all the workers, spending money on track prep, etc. I will bet they want us to race even more than we want to race.

Hey everyone, I would like to invite all of you to Advance Auto Parts Customer Appreciation Day at the Winter Road Location in New Castle, PA. Every year we do this and sell refreshments for donations to the Ronald McDonald House of Akron in Josies name. This is a nice low key event and its plenty of time to get back to QCMP. (its about 35 min)
thanks
Lou

I think General Yuk is a happy guy. Just don't make him mad No No Don't know what happened between him and the briggs and stratton brigade. I would think those young racers would look up ......or maybe down, to him as a Role Model!

Madman, you obviously need glasses which is probably why you cant find that motor and get it in that pigeon you call a race car....I used neither a 4 or 6 inch brush...as anyone who knows my Hillbilly roots would know, I used a roller. Laughing

Andy, I got the story of what happened between your general and the briggs and stratton brigade. According to eyewitnesses, one of the briggs and stratton brigade was exiting their jr when they saw a bunch of lollypops on the back of Yuks trailer. So, being a typical 8 year old, they thought the lollypops were for anyone that wanted one, so they took one. Well, Yuk blew up and had it out with the taller but much younger 8 year old over the pilfering of one of his lollys....so Yuk took it back and he and his lollypop guild gave the evil look to the kid until he left for the staging lanes. Here is the picture of the event.
