So did they considered saturday a rained out event beings they didn't get the whole first round in meaning we get a rain check even if we ran and lost the first round of super pro? Normally it take a full round of all classes to make it a completed event otherwise considered rained out .

I questioned Greg on Sat. night about this. He said if 1st rd complete for everyone, the money would be split among winners. If 1st rd not complete then rainchecks issued.

I sent Greg an e-mail about those who lost 1st rd on Sat. and may have left before rainchecks were issued. I will let you know when I get a reply.

Thanks Keith because I left figuring that you just save your stub like norwalk and turn it in the next week and knowing my luck I am out of luck on the rain check deal.

I just want to say that the crew at the track are getting better and better at running an efficient and great program. I thought the turnout was great on Saturday and Sunday. I only wished the track surface would have cooperated so that both events could have been held in their entirety. I know it had to be a hard decision to cancel Saturday and Sunday due to track conditions and that track ownership and management really wants to get some racing done this year, especially with all the crappy weather we have had. However, if this past weekend is any sample of the weather we should expect in the near future, we should be racing without a lot of weather issues soon....

Tom, I recognize that people do not want to make changes during racing, hence my post on the t&t costs. Some of us like to work on different racing combinations after bowing out of the gamblers race. Any real racer always looks for advantages in various combinations of strategies, or tuning.

I did hear back from Greg on the raincheck question. If you have a receipt, The white one that was stapled to your run card. That will be honored for a raincheck. It is good for the entire 2011 season.

Another good decision by the track. Last year you would have one, maybe three weeks to use that rain check or you would lose it. These kinds of decisions will continue to make this place rock. I sure hope they bring back that Nostalgia race, those were some bada$$ cars pulling out of the track on Sunday.

Now if they would just outlaw lime green pintos and fancy painted mustangs driven by a couple of bozos, then the place would be better for all. Maybe even throw in a yellow falcon to go with it. Laughing

Is it true that a new employee stopped the lime green pinto and asked the driver for a valid state license to show he was allowed to drive the pit vehicle?

That was true Pink. Not only did they ask him that question, but when he showed up for the Modified class call, they told him that he should wait until jrs were called before he brought that thing back to the lanes. They went on to explain that all cars should wait until their class is called before reporting to the lanes and that he should be escorted by an "ADULT".

Another incident happened while at the track this past weekend that did not make the news. When Yuk was driving that lime green pinto through the pits, someone hit it with a fly swatter thinking that his car was nothing more than an insect. He was pretty upset, but I went on to explain that I could understand how that happened given the fact that the car is a ford and most of the times flys can be found around a pile of SH^T.

I have been thinking about it since that day.

My lights went like this:

.125 to his .009
.009 to his .309
-.010 to his .120 (I bumped down .010!!)
.144 to his .007

I see it strange that when my light was good, his was horrible and vise versa. Anyone find this same thing with their passes?

I will add that because they don't do crosstalk anymore I was going off the other top bulb all day TT and Elims. The bulbs are straight ahead. Any issues doing this?

My lights are usually consistantly good, but this has been on my mind since three weeks ago. I can't sleep, I can't eat, I am loosing my freinds, my dog ran away from home, my wife hates me............maybe I have a future in Country music!! Big Grin

Well the thing about that light issue I took out .010 from my Norwalk setting first run and when .045 then took out .030 and went .055 so I put it back to my normal which was .040 more than last run and went .103 so pretty sure I suck.

Andy,

I do plan on it....but do not feel bad, he likes Mopar owners and Chevy Owners, just not Ford guys. I had to laugh when he barked at Yuk I expected that. Yuk is a pretty ugly guy. When he barked at Stretch....I thought, well he does have cats and maybe he smells the cat. But when he barked at you I realized that I had trained him well to hate Fords....Now if I can teach him to piss on the wheels of Fords and not Chevys I will be very satisfied. Rolling

I hear the Briggs and Stratton Brigade don't even have any respect for the Blue Oval Army.
