Not a problem waiting, I think that showed Mia and Brandon know what sportsman racing is all about. Brandon even said several times to take the bye run when he could not find you but after talking with mia she said pull out of line and wait. In the end she red lighted and brandon won, it was a good race.
Maybe Bud and Ray need to go back and re-learn what racing is all about. A 13yr and 16yr old could show them what they forgot. It is not about bitcxxxx about every little thing, but having fun racing, and forgetting everything else for those seconds while you going down the track and nothing else is on your mind except did i win or lose.
no, they were supposed to come today. I tore it apart and found that the main problem was the rollers that roll on the flyweights are worn and 1 was sticking. They were supposed to be here today. I hope they come. Might have to borrow some parts off that old clutch if they don't.

I can't remember if I complimented Mr. Whalen when I was working the mic on Nostalgia Day. I thought it was very cool that he waited for Andy to refire, and that was the semis or maybe even the final? And then Andy won. I'm so glad to see that type of sportsmanship, and I hope the youngsters always keep sight of that. It's a good lesson.

Olds, there is nothing wrong with Bill Turk's post, and no, he is not a punk kid. Actually, there is something wrong with Bill's post... the fact that it is the truth. Everything Bill posted is 100% accurate.

Chuck that was in the final. What happened was Whalens cars stalled, then I lowered the idle down to wait for them and then when I rolled our car back to the water, ours stalled. Yeah it is nice to have that kind of sportsmanship. Sorry it had to happen that way,and hope it didn't scew them up. My wife said you did mention about that over the pa.

Congrats to all of the team. It's so cool they were able to bring it home to the Tedescos, after all the work they have poured into the track. There are 2 pics I really want to see... 1 is when Michael, Frank, and Carmen, were at the base of the tower, holding the banner that said 2007 team final champs, and one of the IHRA officials got dumped a full water cooler on them from the second floor. The other was the warning that was given, in a special way, using the PRP beach.

Great job PRP!!!! I have to agree with Joe. those extra races were great. Track temp was over 115 degrees and traction was awesome. Congrats to Scotty for his semi run he was on fire all day. Greg Miller congrats to you also. I know you were a part of the w**** program running smoothly. Some standouts were Scotty,Russ,Jerry all the jrs. and Roy Safreed. And Bill Shepard in the gamblers race. And Bill Prest Great job in runner up of the Beaver Springs race. Great job to the w**** team employees and fans that made this a winning weekend. Chuck that picture is so funny. The Tedesco's do rule!! and prest had something to do with that. You guys are all ok in my book. Also Chuck thanks for some of the tips on looking at things from a different angle.

Hey guys this race this weekend. I have to work sat but if we where going to come down sunday would it be worth it. Is there going to be time trails before eliminations. Are we going to have to pit in BFE. I want to race this track and every year I never make it down. I think I can talk my brother into bringing his car down. I would hate to drive all the way down and only get 1 time shot on a track I never been at. Thanks.
