Jeff, you race most of your season where you do, and you want to talk about drama?!?!?

I'm sure glad my hobby is hockey, where when someone is being a whining beotch, you can throw a shoulder into him and make him shut his crying ass up. When I go to tournaments, our games don't always start on time for various reasons, but we don't complain. Were just happy to be there with our teammates, doing what we love, and happy to be alive. Greg is a very good friend of mine, and I know he does waaaaay more than most would to make the track the best it can be. If you want to give him some ideas for improving the track, talk to him or email him. He is willing to listen. Just my 2 cents.

Just a semi outsider observation...

Some people here may have not raced at many other tracks...personally I've raced quite a few(still looking for racers I can beatSmile ).....My opinion is that PRP is generally a well run and racer friendly track.

1 TT issue: fine with me...by now most people at that track should be able to dial off the trailer IMHO...there are some good racers at PRP

1/8th mile: who cares?...easier on parts...and the shutdown there can become scary fast.. Obviously there are no issues if PRP can win a Bracket Finals running 1/8th...right.

Buy Backs: Yep...hate them...till I win off one.. Wink Yes they do take time...and yes it stinks to have to beat the same guy twice...but...bottom line is it puts money in the tracks pocket. With low car counts thats important. As well as the fact that everyone there spends money for entry...fuel and tow...would be nice to now that if you tank a round atleast you don't have to spend all that cash again.

Start time: I'm not a fan of sitting around..but by the same token if I go I'm there for the long haul. Unfortunately there seem to be some behind the scenes issues that if all were aware of might take so of the sting out of the long wait.

Guys...be happy you have a track...and I suggest we all try to support it. I do when I can.

Good luck with your racing folks...and anyone going to Piedmont for the 50k?.....lol

I play a lot of hockey too but I have yet to go to any tournament in the last two decades, be there for 15 hours and only play for three minutes. And then have the organizational body say that due to whatever reason we are going to cut your playing time in 1/2 for the next day.

Well I just wanted to say congratulations to all the winners and RUs of the weekend. I thought the event went very well. I had a blast hanging out with my friends and watching them go rounds. It was great to see a bunch of different cars at the race track. It shows that we are growing.

Next years event will be even better.

Thanks to the staff for the hard work. It wasnt perfect but what truly ever is.

As AJ said, congratulations to ALL winners and R/U's.

Especially my good buddy and resident E-85 guru, AJ Casini on his No-Box win on Saturday. Awesome job grabbing that big check!!!

I had a great time, and love this race. I will continue to support it as will the rest of the people that don't bother to get on here and read what is complained about by the folks that come to the race track 2-3 times a season and find things EVERY time that THEY (and their respective "groups") aren't happy with. Did we have long days at the track this weekend? Sure...is a long day at the track better than a day at work...ALWAYS!!!

BTW, I (instead of getting on the internet and ranting about subjects in which one doesn't know the facts) actually went and spoke to Greg about why things were going the way they were, at that time I was informed of the call offs/no shows and other issues. I commend the entire PRP staff (that showed up) they did a great job in their respective areas even though some had never done certain jobs.

Which stinks too, because I always liked that event. But I digress...

In light of the above statement, I think all future races should be advertised as 1/8 mile...

As much as I dislike 1/8 mile, it was good that the decision was made. Nobody died, wrecked, etc.

I love 1/8th mile. Don't have to pack chutes and easier on the car. I wish the track would always run 1/8.

Thanks! That's all I ask.

The odd thing is that I've been going to PRP/Keystone for almost three decades now, with races back in the day lasting to very late hours of the night. Especially some of those old Friday nights and Dad was doing good. And a slippery top-end never used to be an issue until the last couple of years.

BTW, you guys do know there are other tracks in PA and OHIO that run 1/8 mile all the time if that's what you like?

She did quit on my Lou. Guess I need to give her some love sometimes. I did clean her all up on Sunday after the rain though. I guess she wanted me to go under the hood and do some work too. LOL

It was a great weekend though. A win and a semi cant complain about that at all.

We will get everything fixed up and ready to go for next season.

She needs a new engine and trans now. Glad I have a few months to get her going again.
