Congrats to Jason Weaver and AJ Casini, taking the top 2 spots in the Sportsman Nationals picks this past weekend! PRP is racking up the wins there, following Mark Romeo's 2 first place finishes, and my 4th place. And it's all free! Make sure you get in on it for the next race!

Where are you non-Mopar racers running at this weekend ? Beaver Springs is closed, Quaker is having the Steel Valley Nationals. Steel Valley runs Saturday and Sunset has T&T. Sunday Sunset runs a regular program and Magnolia does also. I went to Magnolia last Sunday and it's a nice little 1/8th mile track. Mr. Bill Prest and D i c k Kincaid were the only cars I recognized.

I was joking before but now I'm really starting to think it's me. Returned from vacation and the rain started again. Maybe I should go away again.

Yeah, what's up with all of this rain? I love the severe thunderstorms (I keep trying to get more pictures of lightning strikes... climbed up on my roof the last time a bad storm came through, but no luck, LOL), but could we just have them and this rain on non-race days? I think I heard something about El Nino coming back around... maybe that has something to do with it... blah... Confused

Best way to get lightning is to use the bulb feature on your camera, if you use a DSLR. hold the button down until there's lightning then let it go after a strike. That getting on the roof thing sounds a little dangerous. No No

I dig thunderstorms too, provided I'm not racing that day. I like them when I'm at the beach, and can watch them roll across the ocean. My brother got a good shot a couple years ago of a strike to the ocean surface, I'll look to see if I still have it.

the jrs are having a Tee shirt design contest at the track for the design that will be used for the jr teams representing PRP at the jr team finals at PRP and MIR.
the winner will be based on votes. i think the votes will be the amount of money put in the jars for each design. which that money will go to help cover the costs of the entry fees for the teams.
we have a great bunch of jr drivers at the track and will represent PRP very well at both races. so please come out and support them.

gotta get a plug in, Wink
this is ryan's entry.

My condolences to the Brewer family on the loss of their family member Rob.

Thank you to all that sent birthday wishes. My daughter should know better to post my birthday since I am her car owner. Stay tuned! Retaliation will be swift and severe. LOL

Thank you for the response for Thompson. I have tried to call TRP and only get their answering machine. Can anyone give me another number to call?

Thanks
