"I have been discharged from Mercy Hospital and I am thankfully back home. Even though I'm pretty sore, I have been assured that everything will heal fairly quickly. I understand that PRP staff & numerous racers have been in constant contact with my Wife & Son, & I thank you & everyone else for the concern of my well being. Pastor Jim & his wife stopped by the hospital and their visit was certainly uplifting! My Wife (Sherry) has been an "Angel of Mercy" throughout this entire ordeal. I can honestly say that any racer would be extremely greatful to have her on their team in either good or bad circumstances! I know its early in the healing process but I look forward to getting back to the track, even if its just to help my Son (Brandon) compete for a spot on the "Bracket Finals" roster. Once again, thanks for all of the calls and prayers. I will see you all at the track in the near future." ~Allen Gilbert

now to see if Jill Canuso can put the queen of diamonds over the 300 mph mark at prp.

Hopefully the weather continues to hold up for Saturday -- I'm trying to get some coworkers to come to the track that day. Night of Fire is my favorite event of the season... can't wait! Cool

ray, check your pm's

i know the last time i saw the queen of diamonds there , jessie harris was driving it and i think she ran 294 mph through the traps.
and saw he run 300+ at norwalk 2 years ago.
not sure what the track record is, but i think it will be in the running for it.

Let's go Nikki!!!

The transplant itself took 10 min. Tammy pushed the 30cc syringe
of cells from 11:04am to 11:14am. Nikki watched SpongeBob on TV.
She is fine now and wanting to do crafts already. The only thing to
watch is her bloodpressure that went up slightly. I will update
more details later, but just wanted to thank everyone for their
prayers. Karen

Wow, the transplant only took 10 minutes? I thought it would have been a lot longer than that. Glad to hear Nikki is doing okay, though.
