good morning y’all, Had a great rain last night. Hope everybody’s enjoying the summer. 2bKing your start up in Vegas is the same time we will be racing here ,first week in September.

Ed, that’s what makes America great, we all can do what we want with our money. Including where to go and when to go . Everyone has all kinds on choices!

2BKING, that’s real close to our schedule only difference is October‘s got a couple good ones , I already have people asking about Thanksgiving race.I also have a good race last week of December 1 week of January hangovers depending where the weekend hits. I’m wondering what’s going to happen with wild horse schedule we always have a little conflicting dates and either track wants to change their schedule, maybe this won’t happen this year.

Right

Hi all, hope everyone is doing well!

Fern, don't think we met but we know the same people and know each other from this site. We've been at the same race before I think.

Looked at my Chevelle today. It's still there and looks the same

Well it works like this-- Summit gets new solenoid to me yesterday and it is for a power glide and I have a T 400. But Fern already put the Jerry rig on my original one and it works for now, maybe forever. And my solenoid is back ordered at least for a couple of weeks. Ordered new belts also--back ordered also. Times are rough. So I put new blades on my lawn tractor for which a part came that had been back ordered for 2 months--wrong part. But life is good out here in the country, raining today so I may go to town. Everyone stay safe.

Good afternoon Nimrod, glad to see you here. I’m sure you can find what you’re looking for. It’s really not hard to find I guess, I just don’t take it personal. Every time I see something well that’s just ED.

Good evening y'all. Hope everyone is doing well. I just trolled over some of the recent posts to try and catch up a little. Looks like things are going well for everyone out there for the most part.

It's been a while since I've been able to log on and see what's been going on. Over the past few years I've kept up with drag racing through this forum and Classracer, and also spending an hour or two as a spectator at a local race every month or so. I've had a very busy and difficult past couple of months here. I've been my mother's Guardian and primary caregiver over the past 5 years due to Alzheimers. After a few months of a pretty steep decline in her condition, she passed away July 18th. As of 2 days ago, I've finally gotten pretty much caught up on my work and have my 1st weekend that I'm not needed somewhere over the last few years. The hotrods have been on the shelf since 2015, when the first of our family needs took me away from racing. It's looking like I'll have, "free time", on my hands again sometime in the foreseeable future, so I'm expecting/hoping to get the cars back out and running, If not later this year, maybe early next year. There's a CCRA race next weekend at Rockingham that I'm planning to go watch, and refuel my motivation. They're also launching a Modified Production series there as well. I may finally be able to meet up with some of my friends at the NHRA Charlotte race coming up soon too. Hot as can be here in SE NC, and really looking forward to October, when my work slows down a bit and temps get back down to where working/playing outside is enjoyable again. Y'all have a great week and those who are racing, hope y'all turn on some win lights.....

Good evening To all who post here. Hope your weekend is working out the way you want it. Down in the desert southwest it’s a little cooler right now going down to 100° the best part is night time lows are going down into the 70s.
William, sorry for your loss but praying she is in a better place. It’s so hard being a caregiver, did that with my dad and it was the hardest thing I ever did so I feel for you.
Hope you get a car to the track and have a great time .

Had a great time at nights of fire in Boise Idaho. Out of the five guys there they all made it into the money some deeper than others. One of the guys got out of there with a Wally so that was very cool. I love that place day time highs in the 80s And lows at night in the 60s.

cars ready for the big Labor Day race so I’m just hanging out here counting the days.

You all have a great week.

Good morning everyone. William I am very sorry for your loss. Glad to see posts from people who aren't on here often.

I have a race coming up the second weekend of September. It reminds me of the old days. .400 pro tree no box race. Should be a nice change and a fun race.

Hope everyone has a great week.

So the routine goes on---seat belts came and they are WRONG! I am beginning to think my communication skills are depleting or so it seems. Not much going on around here, all these race tracks and no races. But it is hot as he!! so maybe its all good. Everyone be safe

Fern, I have always ordered my harnesses from Simpson directly and always get exactly what I want. Yes they cost more and no they are not recertable but they are the BEST.

You a cam lock or latch link guy? I've been using latch links my entire driving career, I just order the el-cheapos from Jegs. They've always worked great and look good too. I think they are made by RJS
