Car was dead on 5 times in a tow but lost with a .017 light dead on .001 to a .008 dead on .009. Tough on a 71 year old foot braker. Glad to hear it Floyd. Looks like it worked.

Need to start posting more than once a week. Still plugging along here. Changed oil in race car today and put it back in the trailer. Got a broke off lug bolt on the Mercedes so going to try to drill it out---don't look like fun. Good luck Floyd and be careful

Nick I don't remember this in Tucson but when we lived in Mesa they had ditches along the street and on certain days water would flow and we had a little gate we could open if we wanted to water our lawn. Guess to many people there now for that. Anyway poured down last night, grass growing fast. No racing but looks like a good race this weekend at Piedmont. you all stay safe.

Well I hope the NC races this weekend don't get hurt to much by the fact that we have no fuel. At noon the reports were 72% and 71% of gas stations in Raleigh and Charlotte had no gas--NONE. At 5 they announced that the pipe line was operating once more but would take up to a week to get up to full speed. Here in my small town we had fuel, but we are out in the sticks. Still raining here but supposed to clear up tonight.

Mornin Y'all, We've got fuel but we also have the prices to go with it. I got diesel day before yesterday and with my 10 cent a gallon discount from Chevron it was 4.05 a gallon. Then the pump shut off at 100 bucks so I didn't getta full tank. Close enough, I only use about a tnk or so a month. Y'all have a gooden Nick enjoy your low prices.

Good morning all, last Friday before going to Racing I filled up the Dually Paid $2.79 a gallon. Today diesel is gone to $3.05 . That’s all I have to say wish I had more. Floyd you take care, Fern I hope you’re taking it easy, still need some of that rain down here in Southwest. HAVE THEY CALLED US YET ? THEY HAVE!!!

Nick, we need it up here too. Our inept governor has cut water to the farmlands of central California to save some smelts. When was the last time you ate smelts?

Fern, you take it easy. It takes longer for us old guys to do stuff these days. Nick, doing better everyday. Squeezing my balls on a regular bails. Pun intended. Part of the therapy. Rubber balls for you that haven't had physical therapy. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Floyd Staggs,

Oh my! I mowed the front yard this morning. Couldn't ask for nicer weather. Low 70s, slight breeze, not a cloud in the sky, and the sun is shining. How about the foot braker winning the 75K at Piedmont yesterday? I am trying to get back into it Floyd, sitting around isn't good for me.

Almost 20 years ago---Jack has been gone for 6 years now and the 66 was replaced by the red 65 about 8 years ago. I sold most of the WV place 15 years ago and moved to NC. Racing has changed a lot since then but I try to get to the WFC and the New Years Nationals in FL every year. These are great races ran by great people. But the every week bracket races at the same track have vanished now. Struck 80 years now and seen a lot.

I noticed that piece had something about the Macys right below me. Talked to Scott Macy yesterday as I was near his shop and stopped by. Been a nice few days here in NC with temps in the low 70s and 50s at night. Hope everyone don't abandon this site, just sneak in and say hello. We miss everyone.
