Fern the stuff is pretty great. I got all the supplies I needed to cover the wagon for $355. That's about 7 gallons of plastidip. You can get it in a glossy, flat, or whatever finish you want. I got it that cheap though because of the Black Friday.

This is a picture of my buddy's vette and him peeling it off.

Mornin' all! Back to normal November temps, through the weekend, but doesn't look like there will be anything to shovel. I'll take that.

J, I had a doc's appointment this morning, right by an awesome bakery. I'll take their cannoli over Dunkin'. Big Grin Is rust a big concern out there, for the WD40 treatment? Or is that for keeping it cleaner? The stealth thing is worst on bikes. In no box, I've run against them a couple times, and they are hard to see at night coming at me that fast.

Floyd, I haven't checked the outdoor outlets since I moved here, don't know what works, what doesn't. I'll get there eventually. Haha, get a pic of Buddy like that. Single or twins on the hauler?

1258, I take it you're spraying it out of a gun then? What I've seen so far is from cans.

You all have a great day!

Chuck , Its seems to work as a cleaner and helps keeping the surface easy to clean the next time you do it. The sheet metal "aluminum" stays looking good and not deteriorating since using, I also wipe down the interior panels. I Buy the stuff by the gallon, takes a lot of elbow grease and beers to get it done.... I'll get more done once the I get a TV set up in the garage... (that's what I'm telling the wife) LOL

RED sounds like you have a great way to kill time during the offseason. I will post pics when we start on the body. Some surface rust mostly but the panels are straight for the most part.

Chuck you are correct my buddy has a spray gun that he did his car in. Can would just take longer.

Color I'm doing is Anthracite Gray and I will be doing some of the trim pieces black.

J, it ain't a lot of power till you turn it up. You gotta remember my son is Turbosmart USA and they make every turbo tuning part known to man. I don't plan on running hardly any boost at all. It's mostly for show.
Gotta go with twins. We've already got them and there is too much plumbing to do to run a single. The headers are forward swept so just hang them and a Y pipe to the top of the carberator.
We will see how it progresses.

RED that's my dilemma right now is what to do with the wheels. I have Rally wheels on there now. Jeg's knockoffs in the front(skinnys) and real Rally's in the back (not in good condition). I personally like the Jeg's SSR 5 spoke wheel. It's not lite like Weld wheels but they are nice and mostly black.

Mornin' all, TGIF! Looking forward to the weekend, got to take care of a bunch of errands and house cleaning. Always feels good to check stuff off the to-do list, even if I don't yell at me when I don't do what I told me I need to do. Tongue

J, I gotcha. I think, anyway, not sure I understand that "cleaning" word. Big Grin I couldn't put a tv in the garage, would get nothing done. Hell, I'm thinkng about throwing out my couch, so I stop falling asleep in front of the tv.

1258, sounds like a good color combo. I was looking at the Jeg's SSR wheels too. I think I want a change from the DragLites, and I like 5 spoke wheels.

Floyd, that will definitely turn some heads. And if you're going to a bigger tire with the wheel tubs, it would be a shame not to see what it would run with a pound or 2 of boost. Big Grin

Meant to put this in yesterday. Mike needs prayers for Mannie. Mike and Hope had to make the heart wrenching decision to put Mannie in a residential place to help with his behavior. The behavior stems from the damage that his body endured from drugs when he was born. Mike was asking for anyone who believes in the power of prayers to put Mannie Hawks on your prayer list. I sure hope everything works out for the Hawks family.

All the more reason for ice cream with people you love this weekend. You all have a great one.

Mornin' all! I hope you all had a good weekend. Lot of time spent with friends, got some of my errands done, Steelers won.

Mike posted that he and Mannie talked on the phone, and so far, so good.

You all have a good day!
