Sorry about that, I cleared out a little room on it~sentimental stuff from the kids on there, I keep thinking I'm going to record onto s'thing else Wink Good morning gang! BB, you need to hold class up in here since you've been to skoOl Cool

Ok, so we've got a flooded downstairs, mostly storage stuff, haven't had that happen in years Frown I think I need a concrete fort around our house Marty...And on top of that, I found a tick on Lil Man this am, under his 'bottom' cheek~I'm still itching from my bites~I'm really not liking the bugs from Kinston...

Sorry to hear that MsFurr. Hows the water getting in? crack in the wall? Check your gutters also. Hum A leakey basement is the pits. We have had a lot of rain lately, but still your basement should be dry.
Them ticks are bad this year. I bet I have picked a 1/2 dozen or better off myself so far.
We put a fort around my sisters house several years ago. She lived near Roanoke River in Salem. She got flooded right often. It worked.

Really? I was kidding about the fort, but when we first moved here I would've done it in a second! Our yard is sloped down & at that time the school behind us was draining all of their roof water onto us & it was running right down our yard literally like a river & into our basement. They have rerouted their water to the other side now & it seems just the 'run off' around us is too much for the ditches, culverts to handle and it comes up through a drain outside our basement door (steps go down to that door-the ceiling of our downstairs is ground level). Rick put a pump outside the door & it is running out like a stream, but we need to dig out that concrete at the steps & put a submergable in I guess?
On top of that we did get a little help from some guttering that needs to be replaced that we keep putting off (we sided the house to match the garage we built about 10 years ago & still haven't finished replacing the guttering on the house)...Rick said it's time to take a break from racing & get some work done!~Who thinks we'll be in Richmond?!? lol

Mornin Y'all!
I hate to brag but it's going to be low 80's here today and I don't have any drag races planned for this weekend. Send some of that water our way. I wouldn't mind the down time.
And , I don't have a basement.

Good Morning you all or long for Ya'll,hope all is good this morning, getting around kinda late this morning, been out playing in the mud, like Marty, but in the edge of my garden the water is trying to wash it away,so I've been ditching, Eyes no not the B word, ditching for the water to run, instead of ponding up.

Well MsFurr,I'd like to lay a little wager on not going to Richmond, that stuff will be there next week, going to be pretty and dry, this weekend, you know if it ain't raining the roof ain't leaking thinking....... Hum Wink Smile.................

Floyd you and Guy need to get a tanker truck and come out this way,and we will load ya'll up a load of h2o,it sounds more offical to say it that way,and easier to justify...................... I rule Hum Rolling Laughing ...................

Well ya'll all have a gooden,I believe it's going to be a good day, just because, and Chuck,I'm going to do a little research and see if I can't find the picture of the Wagon over on the Super Chevy Website, from back in 87,I believe it is when they did a story about me and the car and I was on the cover that year too,so well see,and still thinking of Nikki girl and friends..................See ya'll afterwhile.......................................................

Mornin' all! I'm going to have Brad Paisley's "Ticks" in my head today now. Big Grin

MsF - see if he can text the pic to an email address.

Nikki is doing well. No cancer cells in the spinal fluid, great news there. She was able to eat a little yesterday and keep it down, more good news.

Chuck T., good to hear about Nikki! Sounds like she is "on the road home"! It's not only "hump day" out here, it is "Eagle dump day" as well as is the 4th Wednesday of each month when the "blackbird" puts my Social Security funds in my checking account! I think I and my wife are on the chosen few to get our stimulus check ($250) on the very last of May. Supposedly, they started mailing or depositing those "injections" to help the economy back on May 7, doing so at random. Apparently, if you are from the west, your tickets all got dumped in first which put you in the bottom of the barrel! Any of you know anyone on Social Security that has got their $250 Stimulus "Injection" yet? Mine won't even buy me a drum of race fuel so I will "re-inject" it into the economy one cent at a time, in the form of sales taxes on food and fuel for a week or two! Guess, since they know Viagra puts me to sleep, that I could wait till the last day of the month to get my injection so as to give me a reason to wake up every mornin'! You kids all have nice day and do your dangdest to make someone smile today! Hasta luego, mi amigo's! Sleep Hum Eyes Wink Big Grin I'm stupid Cool

Good morning everyone. It is raining on and off today. It is supposed to be great Saturday for racing.
Mike, our son is 23yrs. old now but I remember all of his graduations and special moments. Take time to savor the moment. They are grown before you know it.
Marty, it sure is nice having a driving sidewalk and driveway. You are the best.
May God bless all of you today and keep you safe.
