Hey Rooster thanks for all the help at Motor Mile---They think the solenoid is bad in the transmission. ATI told you that because they can't build them as fast as they can sell them---so sell parts Wink You should of stuck around and seen me get some of the money Sat

I hear you cheaper to rebuild than from new. My dad decided to go ahead and purchase the converter from Select Transmission too so this way we aren't doing one thing from one person and one thing from another guy. He's racing Englishtown this weekend, so might not see it for a couple or few weeks. My dad is trying to keep from doing freight shipping.

Mornin' all! The Penguins are 1 win away from the Stanley Cup, good stuff. Hopefully they can finish the series here Thursday night. If so, it will be the first championship won at home, since the Pirates won the World Series in 1960. The 6 Super Bowls were at neutral sites, the Pirates won the '71 and '79 World Series in Baltimore, and the Penguins won their previous Stanley Cups in Minnesota, Chicago, and Detroit.

Rooster, good to see you stopping by. See you at the WFC?

Fern, you use a button? Thought you swapped feet only.

1258, I understand the logic, on the same vendor for both and avoid costs if possible. I hope it works great for you.

You all have a good day!

No Chuck I don't use the button but the trans has one of those pro brakes in it and you got to push the button to back up.....I have been out 4 times now with no reverse when I get to the track----not to happy about it right now. That thing works awesome frontwards just kind of hard to get out of the trailer.

Geez, Fern, do I have to tell you everything? You raise the front of the trailer and just let the winch roll it out. LOL Tongue

Winch? I ain't got no stinkin winch!!! So far have not had a problem getting it out but for as much money as I spent for this transmission I shouldn't be pushing it anywhere....Any way sent the valve body back today---I see whats wrong with it lets see if they own up to it....Went to VA today Good news, no arthritis in knee, bad news is real bad bruise on knee joint and maybe a month or more to get over it. Floyd you hot out there Big Grin

Dang Fern you're all sorts of banged up.

Not many people know yet, but my wife and I are expecting our second child in December. It's exciting and going to be hard since our first is in that crazy energy stage right now.

Mornin' all! Over center day! Cooling off a little here, high 60s today, and it looks like the rain from this morning is moving out. Long time in the waiting, Jameson Taillon makes his Pirates debut tonight against the Mets. I hope he continues the success he's had this year in AAA.

Gotcha, Fern. At least it works good forward! Big Grin I hope it all works out and there's no more pushing. Ice and ibuprofen for the knee?

Floyd, love my winch too! I can get in and out of the Cutlass if I drive it in, but lord, it is NOT a pretty sight!

1258, that's awesome! Congratulations to you and your wife.

Hope to see you there, Rooster! Knock on wood, I have every intention of being there, just need family stuff to not happen in the meantime.

You all have a great day!

The old hay hauler is wider than your cars. First time we put it it Marty had to crawl out the back window. I can't even come close to being able to do that. Rolling

Fern is skinny--drive in put it in park, shut it off, and get out. But I put the drivers side front tire tight to the fender well so it don,t push out real easy. My front wheel is even with the front wheel of the trailer so the trailer carries the weight.

Mornin Y'all!
Man of man, them factory stock cars are flying at Englishtown, 8.32 @ 164 for Barton.
My boy helps out the Turbos Direct promod car with turbo parts and tuning. They just sent him a Wally for their win at Indy last year. That's a very cool trophy. He's tickled pink.

Y'all have a gooden. Praying Angel hug

I have no desire to go see them race at Englishtown. About 1.5 hours away. Not a bad drive but the pro classes just aren't as interesting as they used to be.

Mornin' all! TGIF! No points this weekend, so I'm leaving the car in the trailer. I need to get it to a friend's shop, to swap valvesprings. I hope the weather cooperates for the track though, and gets a good turnout for the 3 events they have scheduled.

J, we're going to 90 tomorrow, and humid. I don't think I could do the desert heat.

Floyd, that is so cool!

1258, I like the pros ok, once a year, just for the assault on the senses that the fuel cars are. But I'm more into seeing real cars in Stock and Super Stock, with dial ins.

Ice cream time again. You all have a great weekend!
