Hey guys stopped in to say howdy I'm sorry I've been off and busy I don't understand how I've been so busy but it must be that getting older thing.

Chucks right I had a funny deal happen the other day I had to go to Mannies school and take care of some business that's why I'm so busy he's 14 I'm old lol, anyway I walk into the cafeteria and there's a group of 4 yr olds sitting in there eating breakfast and one little boy jumps up and says hey guys look it's a pirate I stopped and said arguu or something like that and looked at the teachers sitting at the table and they wasn't sure how I would react and I looked at them and busted laughing and then they joined in,for some of the new folks here that may not have a clue why this was so funny I lost my leg last August. and I have a peg with a shoe on it and I still wear shorts year round via the Pirate line being funny I love kids they're honest and they can make you smile even when you don't think you can,so arguu or as we say here on Rocky Ridge Rd alls good and Gods the best...........

Anyway maybe you just had to be there but I've found that laughing and taking what you're dealt with a good attitude and keep it going is the only way to make it through the hard times.....

Floyd that grandson makes me proud for you tell him there's a old country one legged hillbilly out in Va. that is proud of him too,and thanks him for being a fine young man.........

Fern I ain't sure how I missed your call and went back in and found the message and seen where you called and thanks for thinking of me and we'll catch up before long, hope Ma's feeling ok,tell her tater man said howdy..........

Chuck hope you're doing good and thanks for having my back and not letting me burn the bacon, lol,y'all all take it easy and cook all the eggs sunny side up,and remembers grits are good for whatever is wrong with ya and they do put grit in your well y'all know see y'all after while............. Wave.............

1258, I drove the Cutlass to and from the track for years, 3000 rpm = about 55mph. Even drove it to Norwalk and back for one bracket finals. That sucked, not having a radio!

J, I got the Willys pic, cool!!

You all have a great day!

Chuck that gives me hope. At least I can take advantage of the Blueprint warranty.

Mornin Y'all!
Chilly out here with a chance of rain. Hope not for the friends at the divisional at Fontana.
Thanks, Mike. I hope he does real good. He made a good decision cause his life was going nowhere. Had no direction at all.
Now me, I'm changing my direction. With the loss of an old friend this week my mortality is looking at me. I put my trailer up for sale and was going to list the hay hauler but my boy don't want it to go yet. The trailer isn't getting any younger so best to get it out there while it still has value. Can always get another if things change.
Y'all have a gooden. Praying Angel hug

Mornin' all! TGIF! Looks like good weather for test and tune tonight, but after midnight and pretty much all day looks like better chance of me fitting into my jeans from high school than we have of racing tomorrow. Oh well.

Fern, got the pics, cool stuff!

Mike, I love that story, and that you are able to see it for the humor says a lot about you. I see Mannie is getting his fishing tour going. I hope all is well up on the hill, and the garage and car are good. I could go for some sunny side up (or, as they're called in Pittsburgh, dippy eggs, since people dip their toast in the yolks), bacon, grits, and maybe a little sweet tea. Big Grin

1258, yep, it never missed a beat with all the street driving. I would get to the track in time enough for the engine and trans to cool down.

Floyd, very sorry to hear about your friend. How is your health? Your feet healing up?

It's that time again... have yourselves a great weekend, and go get some ice cream!

Mornin Chuck,
Feet are getting better but it's sure taking a long time. Guess I'll be wearing these compression socks forever.
It hit me pretty hard when Papa Joe passed. We'd been racing together since the 90's. He helped me when I lost Diane and I tried to help him when he Lost Annette.
Praying Angel hug

Mornin' all! Growing gills over here. More rain over the weekend, no racing for me. 2 points days out of 4 washed away. Lazy weekend other than that.

Floyd, that feeling of being hit hard, it's awful. I feel for you, and Papa Joe's families. I hope your feet continue to get better. Forward progress is good progress.

Fern, I hope you have safe travels and good luck this coming weekend. I would really like to make that race next year.

1258, you ain't kidding, on both!

You all have a good day!

Fern ain't racing much but will go when I can. I will only go to good races that are what they say they are by people that aren't just trying to gouge the racers.....I might even come see you Chuck as I want to go to the Norwalk Oldsmobile race even if its not so racer friendly. Been a few times and it was always a good time.

Mornin' all! Looking like a nice day here. It may actually be dry all day. Forecast is decent so far for the weekend. I hope it stays that way.

Fern, if the forecast turned bad up here, I was thinking about Motor Mile. I don't know if I'm making the Norwalk Olds race. I always want to, especially since they moved it off the same weekend as the WFC, but probably will be staying at KRP for that weekend, race Saturday, announce Sunday for a special event. I hope to see you at Bristol. Come up here for the no box $10k's at the end of September.

1258, transmission out?

You all have a good day!

Chuck not out yet. Time is not my friend when I have my 19 month old to look after most of the time especially when my wife works. I might try changing out the gevenor on the TH350 next as an easy swap.

Mornin' all! Over center day! Keeping my fingers crossed for decent weather Saturday. I want to race. Good win for the Penguins last night, hope that can win game 7 tomorrow night and make it into the finals.

1258, I gotcha.

Fern, safe travels to Motor Mile, and good luck.

HEY!! Good Morning to all, great day to be above ground.... LOL weather in SW has been real mild , high 80s one or to low 90s. That's not bad when you think average for late may around is in high 90s....

I have found and another way to lose, LOL..
Last race I have an ugly .039 light and feel the wheels spin at the hit, OPPS I'm losing this one I think being dialed on 10.39 just coming off the last round with 10.388. That last Hit was the fastest the car has been at Tucson Dragway. adjusted was 4851 ft. and temp. was around a cool 74 degrees . Well I get to the 1000 and see my competition who's dialed on a 9.14 way back,so I try to kill a bunch but was to slow thinking about it and break out with 10.369...
OMG he was so late and also breaks out 9.123..

Just had to tell that story, sometime your brain just does not keep up...LMAO

Hope everyone is health and has a smile on their face!!! Big Grin Have a great Hump Day!!

Good Morning to all!! Wow you talk about bad weather.... Very feel bad for all the storm victims and their family's surprised more were not hurt and killed. The winds in the SW seem to always be blowing, I was talking to a friend last night and both of us growing up in AZ do not remember any of wind we been having now.....

Bill , thanks for that comment .... it helped ease the pain.. LOL

Fern , best of luck ... have a great time ..

Everyone have a great Thursday... Right...... Thursday... Hum Rolling
