Mornin' all! Monday is here. And that's ok. I hope you all had a good weekend. We got rained out Saturday, which is kind of ok by me. I have to go through the carb and wire in my buddy's 6AL. We'll see how this week goes, maybe I can make this Saturday.

Better yet, Nolen did go home Friday. He is one tough little dude. I'm hoping he is healing up, and the surgeries do what they're supposed to do for his speech and development.

Mouse, always good to see you stopping in. How did the gymnastics meet go?

WAO, did you make it to the Keys? Chomping at the bit for Weds to get here?? Big Grin

Mike, I won a weedeater a couple months ago. I'm not going to use it til I actually get the grass cut. Got a goat I can borrow?? Big Grin

You all have a good day!

Good Afternoon Everyone;

Chuck, good to hear Nolen is home. Young'n heal up a lot better than us old ****s. Hoping he does good. Now, get the Olds back on track.

Good to hear everyone is doing not so bad.

Me and racing aren't getting along lately. Last week, had a water valve blow out on the fresh water tank, and flooded the basement (storage area). Got that all cleaned up, did some putzing around the place, and ready to go racing when the water heater took a dump. Got a new one on order, but won't be here until Friday. Missed another race, and if it don't get rained out, I will miss Friday's race to install the new WH. Nice that we live in an RV park. Have a couple park showers we can use until we get ours back.

But, had my first appointment at SAMMC (San Antonio Military Medical Center). Going to have a treatment called Y-90 that is not available at the VA. The VA is paying for it, but dealing with an Army Hospital is a bit different. I thought the VA hospital was big, but this place is huge, and very nice and modern. I was sure I would get a prize, or candy when I finally found where I was suppose to be, but didn't happen. Anyway, everything looks good. Gonna take a day or two to get all the paper work sorted out, but should happen soon.

OK, got to go. Have to chase paper for awhile.

Later

Ken Gasbarri

Ya'll Be Of Good Cheer!!!

Mornin' all! Beauty of a day here, going to mid 60s, sun is out, blue skies all around.

Ha, Ken, that's one of the things I thought at Children's when I was visiting Nolen. I normally have a pretty good sense of direction and where I am, but I made a couple wrong turns there. Sorry to hear about the MH issues, but glad they're relatively easy fixes. I hope the Y-90 is a good treatment for you.

Mike, this rain then sunny days is making it grow pretty quick. I might need 2 goats! Big Grin

Michelle, come footin'! Big Grin

You all have a great day!

Good afternoon everybody.
Mike, I haven't gotten to race yet this year, the engine is still at the machine shop, and since daddy's death, I really haven't had time either. I'll get it out sometime this year though.
Chuck, the gym meet went very good. Brianna finished 4th out of 10 in her group. Very proud of her.
Y'all have a good day.
See ya later.

Mornin' all! Over center day! Some rain moved through, but looks like the heaviest stuff broke up before it reached here. The airport was having some big thunder and lightning this morning.

Mouse, that's awesome, great job Brianna! I hope you get the engine back soon and can find a little stress relief.

Mike, 90 sounds too warm too soon. I'd have hay to cut in no time!

WAO, let us know how the racing goes tonight. Have a blast!

You all have a great day!

Mornin' all! Hitting the 80s today, going to feel real good after this beotch of a winter. Sun is out there now, looking forward to seeing some sights on my lunchtime stroll. Big Grin That's if I can see... broke my glasses in half, at the bridge, so I'm total nerd style right now, taped together. Funny timing, have an eye appointment for my lunch hour scheduled for today. I hope they can transfer my lenses over to new frames at the least.

Mike, I hope you have some shade and refreshing H2O in the woods.

WAO, sorry to hear about the issues. I hope the fuel pump and right rpm setting gets you back where you should be. Rub dirt in it and take a lap, you'll feel fine. Big Grin

Mouse, I'm with you. Hopefully by this Saturday.

You all have a great day!

Good Afternoon Everyone;

WA; know the feeling. think you got your crap all together in one big pile, but it just ain't so. That's racing for ya.

Chuck; have fun at the game, but get that damn Cutlass back on track. Looking forward to hearing about some win lights.

Mike; I know of what you speak. Here it went from Winter to Summer in about a day. Even now, we need the furnace in the morning, and the A/C during the day. But, at least there ain't no snow on the ground.

Mouse; Good luck with the machine shop. Peg insists that those people have no sense of time, and I sure have no argument to that. Plenty of times I was told "middle of next week" and almost always it was "middle of next month". Hopefully, it won't be too long before you get some noise in your life.

Spent Wednesday and Thursday running around like an idiot trying to get the paper work and stuff for SAMMC and the VA. Pretty much got it all done by Thursday afternoon. The new water heater was waiting when we got home. Had intended to install it today, but thought if I got it done yesterday, I could go to the track today. So, I installed it last night. Not too bad. Spent most of the time looking for tools and things. Water heater went in pretty easy once I had my act together. Fired right up and started making hot water immediately, only to quit about 5 minutes later. Ha, out of propane. switched bottles and lit her back up, and we have had hot water ever since. Had a nice long hot shower last night. Funny thing though. We had a 10 gal rv water heater, but replaced it with a 12 gal of the same brand. The 10 gal one is about 22 inches long, while the 12 gal is just 2 inches longer. Just doesn't seem like they can pack t2 gals in that amount of space, but then, what do I know.

So, anyway, all ready to go to the track and get some passes in and don't ya know, IT RAINS all day. We certainly need the rain, but did it have to come all at once. Tomorrow looks to be dry, just hope the track can get all that water dried up.

Well, Peg has me on this new diet. I am not allowed to eat anything that even comes close to tasting good...but at least, I can watch the food channel while I ain't eating nuttin good. So, she is making a "Veggie Pizza" and I better get to the table before she changes her mind.

Mornin' all! They call it stormy Monday, supposed to get some boomers maybe later in the afternoon. The Pirate game was great, good time with my coworkers and some of their spouses, a few drafts before the game, nachos with a mountain of jalapenos during the game, and a comeback win. Rained out Saturday, so was able to work on the Cutlass. She's alive! First time since Oct 2012, there was fire in the pipes, and the wheels turned via driveline power, not me pushing. Needs a few little things, but I'm hoping this weekend I'll be back wheelin' my own racecar.

Ken, sorry to hear about the diet. My buddy's wife has the best one... she stays away from whatever he and I eat. Big Grin I hope you get some racing in soon. I'd like to hear about you turning on some lamps too.

WAO, good deal, when are you racing again?

Mike, be safe out there in those woods if they're wet, or even if they're dry.

You all have a great day!
