Nick, yes it did. We dumped water on the track on the first pass. Not having an enclosed trailer anymore doesn't help.

Everything got upset around here real quick. Went to Darlington but it was to cold so car is at home. Wind up North worked on a couple of my places in Maryland---part of roof blew off on one and a big tree down at another---so I had to make a trip up there. I think I got it all taken care of and am back in NC now. Race plan was 2 day points race at Galot but that disappeared from there schedule last week replaced by Street Outlaws. Oh well. So thats out and then off to PA for a few days to Grand Daughters wedding. I just might get to race someday, maybe. You all have a good one.

Good Morning you guy's... Hump day is here and was not soon enough for my taste...Man you east coast racers are being hit with some real bad weather , wish I could get toy some of this 80 degree weather to you.... Did I say that I'm sure glad I woke up on the top side of the ground this morning...hahaha

Fern, Wow you got a lot going on again,,, I really do not know how you deal with it all, last week went to change some oil and I still have not got it done...One thing leads to another and soon the day is over...

Floyd, its not a hay hauler but a water truck...
track works I bet did not like that...LOL

Chuck, I'll be thinking of you on Sunday as I payout my entry for just one hit and strait to eliminations for $10,000.... Heavy hitters from all over will have been racing since Thursday and will then Have to try to take me out, and they have more to prove than me so I have the upper hand... LOL

Everyone have a great day.....

Fern, what part of PA?

Supposed to get some major snow but that doesn't seem to be the case today. Filled in the backsplash with some grout, will probably go over it again for some spots that looks like it needs a little more.

Yeah, Nick. I got a text from the track manager telling me how lucky we were. We dialed a 10.30 and the other guy dialed a 12.50. He ran a 12.43 and we ran a 11.63 using all of the track. It shook the tires, hit the rev limiter, got sideways, hitt the limiter again and we still won. We Went back to the pits and the front crossmember was full of water. That's when I miss my enclosed trailer. Then the sob wouldn't run the number on the second round. 60' was 1.42, 660 was 6.61 and the 1/4 was 10.61 at only 122. We gotta hit the dyno. And to top it off the water pump quit on the that pass so we were done anyhow. I've had better weekends. A thousand dollars for two passes. Time to sell the truck and buy a bass boat.

Dang, Floyd that was a wet one!! I have no room in my life for an enclosed, but every time I'm towing and it starts raining .... Oh well...
A $1,000 for two passes that sounds like an empty wallet deal , I thought my race on this Sunday was on the crazy side . You made me feel like I'm sending "chump change" ....LOL

Evenin' all, over center day and then some at this point. Got my offer from the insurance company today finally, and I'm not happy. I think they're pretty short on the value. Trying to push back with receipts of the maintenance I've done, along with examples of other cars like mine on different sites. It's frustrating.

Floyd, sorry you had crappy weather raining on your parade at the Meet. I'm in the same boat as you, towing with an open trailer. I have to get my enclosed caught up on maintenance, though I don't expect to travel much this season. I know all about being upside on racing trips too.

Nick, I hope you do well Sunday. I like your chances! I agree, you have the upper hand.

Fern, if you're on this side of the state, give me a holler. That wind can get nasty, hope you can take care of things in MD pretty painlessly.

1258, saw it was looking like a normal bit of snow for you, compared to what they're calling for further north. Kitchen about done, if you're down to the backsplash?

You all have a good night.

I need to clarify a bit. Biggest expense was the hotel, 189 a night plus tax, 3 nights 606 bucks. We stayed at a cheap one last year and the break in cost us almost 5 grand. At least Hampton Inn has security.

Hey ...Wake up... Good Morning at all...Looks like I'm still above the green, and that's a really good sign!!Weather here is nice, its clouding up for the weekend but not to worry no rain is predicted. I know you all are really worried about that...Weather in the east looks down right nasty.

Floyd , that was a good move, now I see how that race was so pricey, I bet Woody was glad to see you when you got home!

You All Have A Great Day!!!

1258 and Chuck I will be going to Skytop, PA---South East of Scranton. 10 hour drive from here. I am keeping the road hot up that way as I may be going North of Baltimor in the morning to get a rolled 2017 Mustang conv for my neighbor. He is restoring his childhood 57 Ford and wants the coyote drive train for it. Got to go Sat because it is supposed to snow on Sunday. No racing in NC anyway. Chuck check your pm.....everyone have a good one, life is good Nick Wink

Yes Floyd I do it all by myself--most of the time. No GPS, no face book, just old school. Read a road map real good and watch the road signs. Been driving around 65 years and all over this country and many others and that method has served me well so far. Couple of years back I left here, went to Pamona, then to Orlando, then back here with no GPS....Maybe someday. My friend here don't even have a cell phone!!!! Roll Eyes

Mornin' all! Winter is still hanging on here, cold overnight, 30s and windy Thursday and Friday. Hit 40 and beautifully sunny yesterday, think we might get mid 40s today. Spent the day yesterday helping my friend on his SBF, feels good to be getting closer to race season. Making a run to Summit today with a couple off friends, new jacket and Pro Bracket Radials for me.

Floyd, the older I get, the more a good hotel means to me. Big Grin I've stayed in some fleabags.

Nick, good luck today. Man, 78 degrees and racing, sounds heavenly. A year ago today I was in AZ, with my oldest niece and my youngest sister. I would love to be back. I think on occasion of the guys who posted that we lost - Guy, Bob, Ken, at least. I had the pleasure of meeting Bob, and getting a Price Racing Clan hat. Good stuff.

Fern, got it, all good. That sounds like a cool project, Coyote in a '57 Ford. I'm with you, much prefer a map I can put in the glovebox. I'll look up directions online to map a trip, but have never used the GPS on my phone.

You all have a great day!! Ice cream time, hot fudge sundae wityh chocolate ice cream for me Big Grin

Relaxing
