Mornin' all! Over center day! Anxious, nervous, and excited for Game 5 tonight, Pirates and the Cardinals. I believe!

Ken, gotta love when the battery issues pop up. Been there many a time. I have the habit of running mine til they leave me stranded somewhere, and I have to go to whoever is open to buy their battery, and usually a small crescent wrench, because I won't have any tools on me either. Is Pastys a place or a food?

Susie, has Mark had any luck on the Olds?

Mike, I hope Manny has a lot of fun today!

Let's Go Bucs!!

Good Morning All;

Well, seems all is well. That is good.

I am thinking that one of my truck batteries was bad for awhile, and I just didn't pick up on it. Anyway, all is good.

Checked the mirror this morning. I am just as good looking as I was yesterday. Thinking that if I shave and get a haircut (maybe get both cut), I will be dashing.

OK, Ol' what's her name is stirring, gotta go act like I need adult supervision so she will be happy.

Later

Mornin' all! Well, the Pirates gave it a great run, but just ran into some hot pitching. No shame at all in this series or season. It was a lot of fun.

Michelle, great pics on FB with your men. Smile Hope you get another this week.

Ken, does the voltmeter gauge help at all? I've got 2 batteries in the Ram, everything has been good, just want to learn if there is anything I need to watch out for.

Mike, I can only imagine how it is watching mom. It was hard watching my aunt. Prayers for her.

My Friday, great weekend at PRP, racing tomorrow, $1200 to win first race, $1500 in the second, then Saturday is round 1 of the $5k to win... hoping I can do some good! You all have a great day and weekend! Ice cream time!

Good Afternoon All;

Hoping everyone is doing fine. I think we are all proud of Manny.

We just got back awhile ago from a "gambliing trip". Really a Peggy thing. She has a grand time, and she really doesn't lose that much, and even comes out on top sometimes. This time, we were at a "Class II" casino. Didn't even know such things existed, but they do, and I know it ain't something I care for.

Anyway, had fun, survived, and we are back home and ready for our next "adventure".

Chuck; I really had no warning. All the gauges were in the normal range. Don't know why, but even when I isolated the batteries, they would look good one minute and not the next. Had a friend tell me if they drop to below 8 volts when cranking, they are most likely bad. And they did, even when I had the battery charger on "boost". This truck has been a bit screwy from the day I got it. It will go for 2 or 3 weeks losing coolant, and then go over a year without losing a drop. And it will go for days or weeks showing a battery light, but check everything and find no problem. Then, over a year without any battery light problems.

OK, I'am done for now. See ya'll later

Good morning,folks I need some prayers this morning,my nieces little boy who has terrets(sp) and is small for his age he is 8 got beat up pretty bad by a 11 yr.old bully thrusday on the bus going home.
Kustom is my nieces little boys name he is a good kid but a little stubborn and was assigned a seat on this bus but was assigned this bullies seat by mistake and this kid who has been in trouble from the time he could walk threw Kustom on to the floor of the bus and then stomped and kicked him in the head this after beating him with his fist in the face.

Kustoms at home and seems fine but my heart is just torn out for this little guy,please say prayers for him that he'll be ok,he has it tough anyway but this is such a setback for him.

And please pray for this other bullying kid my heart wants to pray for him but my mind wants to take control of the situation but all I can do is watch from the sidelines to see how this will work out,but for now my thoughts and prayers are with Kustom.

Thank ya'll.
Mike

Good Morning All;

Hoping everyone's Sunday goes well.

Mike; that is aweful. Hope the little guy fully recovers, and returns to school soon.

The problem with bullying in today's society is that the schools can't/don't/won't do enough to stop it, but if anyone fights back or tries to do something about it, they are on you like stink on a skunk.

There has been a number of school shootings, mostly by kids that were bullied, and made some bad choices about how to deal with the problem. And, everyone starts talking gun control, anger management, and such, but do not deal with the reason it got to that point. We need to re evaluate the way we look at these issues before we can begin to solve them.

Anyway, hope things get better, and the bully is deal with.

Ken Gasbarri

Good morning ya'll,Ken thanks for the thoughts Kustom is doing fine right now and seemed to be fine all weekend,just bruises and a blk eye,but he's a tough kid,I just pray that they will not be any lasting effects,kids are better at bouncing back than the adult uncles are,so I think he'll be fine......................... hug.............................

His parents are to meet with the lady over the schools that deal with bullies this morning the Sheriffs dept.guided them to this lady because this bully kid is a juivile and that's just how they do it,and Kustoms parents want more than a I'm sorry from this kid so maybe the message will be sent to other kids and this bully that bullying will not be tolerated....................................

Hope you all have a great day and get to have some fun and share a smile with somebody...................... Wave............................................

With Madi and Adiayn in the same school system, I was hoping they will push the issue to send a message to other kids, I understand it's how they were taught (or not taught) how to be, but something has to be done to help steer these kids in the right direction, and above all the message needs to be sent it won't be tolerated. Madi was just telling me about some girls picking on a boy who just moved here in their home ec class, and she spoke up for him, she did it in her crazy, fun joking way but she spoke up & it made a difference...for today, more kids & teachers need to make a difference for kids who are bullied.
WTG Manny so very proud of you!!
Thanks Chuck and Susie and Floyd you guys are great, I love hearing from my fav CALI frds all weekend at the track hug

Mornin' all! Over center day! Got a little rain today, making me want to take a nap. That's no surprise though. Big Grin

Michelle, you rock! Smile

Susie, I guess Zito is done in SF? I heard he took out a full page ad thanking the fans.

Ken, I can't do the slot machines. I have no luck at all. I do ok on occasion playing blackjack, about even overall. Your truck does sound screwy. I think every car has its quirks though, we just learn to live with.

Mike, real sorry to hear about Kustom. I don't like bullying. I get nervous for my nieces and nephews... so far so good, thankfully. I hope he can join the Mini- Winnie Tour real soon. Big Grin

Bittersweet weekend... had a lot of fun with my friends, had a great first round on Sunday, knocking out a big time hitter. But we lost a racer. He had a heart attack Friday at work, another in the hospital. They did emergency bypass successfully, but his blood pressure wouldn't come back up. Frank was only 52. He was a good guy.

Take care of yourselves out there. hug
