Going to be a lovely do nuthin day in Cucamonga. And I do nuthin well.
If any of you folks have people far away you like to see and talk to you gotta get Skype. My son and daughter-in-law are in Auustralia and I just had a nice conversation with them. They are getting ready for bed over there. 10:45 pm. Good thing we spoke cause he forgot to tell me I'm picking them up at the airport Tuesday morning. They leave Sidney at 1:30 pm Tuesday and arrive LAX at 9:45 am Tuesday. I remember coming back from that side of the world watching the speed on the gps and seeing 850 mph. Didn't feel that fast.
Y'all have a gooden. I gotta get my rest for that long drive to the airport.

Morning Mouse and Floyd,Floyd I ain't never flown on a plane,and say I never will,was told I ought to,to fill my bucket list at least,my buckets pretty full of stuff so I'll just drive,to me alot of little adventures are as good as one biggen, .......but I'll take your word for it,850,in the passing lane......woohoo............ .......................

Mikey, it feels a lot like drag racing. I like take offs and landings. I time the lift off.
When you are coming west from the east side of the world the earth is rotating the other way, so the ground mph goes up drastically. You also pick up a day cause you're coming back across the international date line.
I don't like little planes, though. It seems like they are not moving and you keep waiting for them to fall.

The theory that the ground MPH is affected by which way you are flying doesn't wash or at 500 MPH it would take roughly an hour and a half to fly 2000 miles in one direction at the equator and you'd lose almost 500 ground miles an hour going in the other direction!

Got back pack and supplies,check.....................
Shaved,dang knowed I forgot something.................. .............

Anyway dread this day,but Mannies Dr. said no home schooling,got to get Mannie back in school and not keep him from all other kids,so he don't want to go alone,so here we go,could use a prayer for patients,since I'm only 43 yrs. older than them,I might need patients today,but then again,maybe ya'll need to pray for them kids......................... ............................
