More headed your way Mouse! Cloudy as heck here but doubt if God will wring out his bath towel over us! We are about 3-4" short of normal on rainfall here in the Phoenix area this year! Daughter and her husband and two boys get back from Wisconsin today after a week back there! Bet they will glad to see what dirt looks like again! Coumadin test today and then off to westside to take wife's aunt to cardiologist for check up. Can't believe somone with blood pressure as low as her's is is still up gettin' around good! Has a little demensia and don't hear too well. Spent several hundred dollars this past year on teeth and she won't wear 'em or go back to have them adjusted to fit correctly! And there ain't no forcin' a 78 year old "toothpick" to do much!
Real nice lady, but like Roosevelt, she carries a "big stick"! You all have a good day and stay warm and outa the potholes!

Mornin' all. I'm sorry to hear about Jim Harrington. Too many racers taken from us this year. I didn't know him, but I have friends that did. I'm polishing up my 2 fingers to wave good bye to 2009 with.

And it's flippin' cold! Waiting for a bus when the wind chill is single digits really pulls vaccuum!!

The Christmas morning chat worked out nicely, Michelle. I woke up still on the couch to Faith Hill singing Christmas music on PBS, and she held my attention. Then I saw you were actually posting on DRR.

And to add to it one of our old employees son died in a car accident last night. . He was a Senior in high school. . . Way to young. . Keep her and her family in your prayers please. . the last couple of years have been hard on her family so I pray this doesn't push her over. .

Kids are still out of school and with no family around here it gets kinda hard.

Scott and I are working on the new year for DRR so life is busy and I still have NO house. .

I was asked over the weekend this question,and have been pondering on it ever since,and I may need some help with the answer.
Who is Jack Shoyt? I mean I have heard this name all my life and have acted like,sure I know old Jack S.but really I was just acting cool,I mean we all want to be in the know,and up to date with happens,so seems like knowing Jack S.is cool.
But to be honest,I've never met Jack S. would'nt know Jack S. if he walked up to me,so here I am 50yrs. old and don't know Jack Shoyt.
So you all see the situation I am in. This Question was ask of me by a sibling,and yes I lied and said sure I know Jack S.and they just turned and rolled their eyes at me,so I don't really feel they fell for it.

So who is this Jack S. since you all are my friends,I knew this is the place to ask such a question,so thanks in advance if you know who this mistery man is,or mite be a woman,would be a odd name for a woman,but as many people that seems to know old Jack,well women are popular,butwith a last name such as Shoyt,I mean how does he know so much,and how is he or she so well liked,I'm pondering,so help if you can,cause before I get any older,I would like to know Jack Shoyt................... ...............................................

Well, the New Year is coming and I can't wait to salute it good bye!! Mark always like the New Year! It was a new beginning. So in honor of my buddy Mark, Happy "New Beginnings" Year to everyone! Don't be afraid to tell someone you love them!! And, I will be having some ice-cream come midnight. I will start this New Year with a smile just like Mark greeted each new day!!

Just got back from the sticker patch and glad to be home. It's great to get away but it's wonderfull to get home.
Guy, I didn't have much computer access and my kids kept me busy. We played Wii til all hours.
Christine, no burnouts in the drive way. It's all concrete and my trailer tires make enough marks on it. But we got this nice asphalt street that is used to getting marked a little. Everybody have a gooden, Mike watch those ribs and I'll talk to you in the mornin. Gonna have some left over prime rib, garlic mashed tators and green beans for dinner. I'm tired.

Oh Guy, didn't get to Hooters or the Tilted Kilt this time. I must be getting old. I usually make time for those excursions but this time it was grandkids time.

That's okay Floyd! I been busier than a tom cat on Ex-Lax coverin' up things, runnin' here and runnin' there! At least the blood thinners seem to be set about right now as today it was 2.3 after being 1.9 two weeks ago. They want it between 2 and 3 so we got 'er dialed in now! Nurse wanted to know my prediction when we went in and I said 2.4! If I can dial a drag car I can dang sure dial my body! That's 2.5 mg. every day 'cept Wednesday when I take 1.25 mg.!
And Floyd, you got everything right 'cept the spelling, it t u r d, not tired!

It's cool again this morning and looks like more nasty weather will be moving in for the New Years celabrations,but I mite wait till tomorrow to tell you what todays weather was, like the weatherman does,yesternight(MT)they changed the forecast here three times and it was different everytime,one way or the other,anyway we'll see.

Well did'nt learn alot about old Jack yesternight,maybe I ain't the only one that don't know Jack S. seems he's really a mistery person,oh well there are something we may not need to know.............. ....................

Mike, guess I shoulda read your recent posts more closely! You have known Jack Shyt for quite some time! That is one of Floyd's many alias's! That is just one of the many things we call him! Missed my Tuesday Los Dos fix yesterday, maybe able to sneak it in today as wife's aunt's son is bringing cousin and his family (here from Italy) over to our house. His cousin is the only one that speaks English as the mother, 16 year old girl and 11 year old boy don't savvy English at all! Maybe we will take them to Los Dos and teach them some foul language in Mexican and English at the same time like "muy malo" (really hot)! It's "Dead Center" day and I gotta have remote in hand tonight to switch between Holiday Bowl where my Alma Mater Arizona will be playin' Nebraska and the Phoenix Suns will be playin' basketball also at about the same time! You all have a "hoppin" good day!

Nicole, vent away! I have to say, this is one great group of listeners. And thanks again for all you and Scott do for DRR. DRR ROCKS!! Just mosey on up to PRP so me and MaB can meet yinz. I need a house too... tired of renting and tired of the funk from my neighbor downstairs. So sad to hear about the young man's passing, and that the family has had it hard. Prayers going out to them.

Christine, I sure hope you make the tree race. I'm sure I'll see you before that too. And we'll keep inviting you for ice cream, so don't be surprised when you get the texts! Thanks for the kind words about my nieces. They're such cuties.

Tomorrow I'm going to wear my bracket finals tshirt from this year, so Nikki is on my sleeve, and Mark is on my back. My brother and his family will be in at my parents, and we'll most likely ring in the New Year while playing dominoes or Pictionary with the nieces and nephews. I think ice cream at midnight sounds like a great idea.
