Thanks for asking Floyd,I feel ok,it's five weeks to day and I'm walking alittle funny,without the cane,but I've always walked funny,so I'm quessing I'm doing good,and thats a flying Bug for real,7.90's in a bettle,thats bad to the bone there,I always loved them little cars,I'm just to big for them................. ......................................

Hi Mike! Yeah, it's a tough Monday, but if that's the price I have to pay for the great week with my family, I'll pay it a million times. And my nephews came home with my parents to spend the week, so I'll get to do stuff with them, like take them to the Pirates game tomorrow night.

Happy anniversary Michelle and Rick! It's also my niece Evie's 7th birthday. Katie's 5th will be Friday.

Always a pan of gravy just waiting for whoever comes in and sausage,bacon,tenderloin,eggs however you please,and new to the menu is our famous if you are in a hurry,Grilled Cheese,with alittle mayo or not,and ifn that ain't good enough,I stir up some grits and biscuits,all you need to do is let me know and we'll getter ready for your busy mornings...........................

Thought we mite change the title up a little and stir up alittle business,been kinda slow lately,maybe the ecomony,or maybe the weather,but one things for sure,it ain't the food.................. ..................well not always.....................................................

Are you going to put in a window with a little shelf to pass the food out or a counter with stools?

Good morning ya'll,Floyd lol,we got a shelf,but stools will come later,right now we want folks to stand and eat,that way they'll eat more standing,it'll go to their feet........ ....................

And yep,I took the(well knocked)right window out of the mini-winnie and put in a shelf,to put the hot sause and salt and pepper on,we'll be upgrading the conduments with mayo and mustard later,the blue plastic tarp works well over the window,except when the wind blows real hard,or running 65 down the road,the old mini-winnie will hit 70 on a good down hill grade,and the other day while serving BF the bungie cord snapped (the rubber kind)and let the tarp fall in one fellars grits,so all ain't perfect yet,but we're making improvments everyday.................... .................

Well onward and upward,we will go,Me,Mannie and the mini-winnie diner express,hope SL don't mind me using the Drr decals on the side of the diner,oneday,we hope to have wireless service,for the use of laptops to go on drr while you eat,it is so funny,to watch folks eating gravy standing up and holding a laptop,in the other,while the cell phone rings in their pocket,I have seen them drop the laptop to answer their cell,but not the gravy,only to see a number they don't reconize,it's so much fun messing with folks while they eat,at the Drr Diner,now I would never do such a thing,now what did I do with that track phone........ .........................

Breakfast is on,this morning special is hashbrowns,smothered,covered and rolling with all the stuff you could want,and even some HOT peppers just for Guy,and ifn the notion hits before you can make it home to potty,you can use the potta-john thats hangin on the back of the Diner,bought one of them racks,that slide in a reece-hitch to carry stuff,well it's carrying our on potta-john,it's a little wobbly,and stinks a little,after a daily burrito special,but hey it gives the wh@le operation character, ........and when going down the road you don't smell a thing.................. .........................

Mornin' all! It's Thursday, and thankfully the weather is getting better for Saturday and racing. More than anything, I want to get this raceday in. It's our memorial race for Nikki and Mark. Bob posted a montage video in his thread, and I'll add in Karen's update from the CarePage too. Still can't believe it, at all, let alone a year. And Karen went into some of the details from that day, so take tissues.

I took my nephews to Dave & Busters last night... I swear it's a casino for kids. My sister brought the girls down too. It was good stuff, seeing them all run around and having a blast.

Hi Mike! I was thinking we needed breakfast more regular like to draw some folks in, and/or back. Not sure where Barney got off to, or Marty, or some of the other semi regulars. We don't bite, folks! Well, the food from the Mini Winnie might. And what do you call hot sauce, Country? I asked for some for my fish sammich down at the beach a couple years ago, expecting some Red Hot or Texas Pete, and I got this bottle of peppers I was supposed to shake the vinegar out of and call it hot sauce. I think that stuff would send me to the rolling potta john. Speaking of, I think I'll just find me a tree.

Morning,Diner is OPEN,been up since 2:30 AM ET,and ready to getter going,couldn't sleep so went to cooking,sure hope somebody comes thru this morning,or our little dog Trinity(Jack Russell)is going to eat good today,I been hearing her barking,she may have gotten wise to the process and are running folks off,better go have a talk with my watch dog.............. ...........................

Got some of the best biscuits this morning,got the blue tarp pulled out like a canopy,with two 2x4's as legs,got twine string,pulled tight to hold her down,tried this the other day,and all at once it come crashing down,but it was my fault,I was the one that left the twine string tighed to the bale,and cousin Dean came to get the hay baler,and gave it a jerk and it came crashing down,my fault,everyone was ok,well they was one mesican that did get hit with a 2x4,he mite cause trouble,but when I see him coming,I just grap him a burito and the bottle of hot sause and he looks to be happy,I wish I could understand spanish,so I could understand what he is say,but I just shake my head and smile,he mite think I'm a bad >>> since my 4 front teeth is missing and he maybe thinking,I better be nice,NAW............. ..........................................

Floyd we're planning a world tour with the mini-winnie Diner,just as soon as I get my new knee in and healed up,so look out Surry County,where coming your way in the fall,going to be awhile before we can get to Cugamongia (SP)but you know what I mean,so eat alittle something before we get there,it will take alittle while........................ ...................
