Morning Everybody,man I'm so sleepy,got to get at it,ya'll remember my Uncle Richard(looks like Richard Petty)Gentry,he just had hip surgrey about two weeks ago,and as soon as he got back home,he went right out doing any and every thing he could,being hard headed(must run in the family)would'nt listen to nobody,I told him since I have had four hip surgreys that he needed to take it easy,but he would'nt listen,so yesterday he was out in my junkyard taking a set of springs off and old truck to put on his,and passed out,got him in the house,and could'nt get him woke up,called 911,they came and checked him out and could'nt get him completely woke up,and took him to the hopitial and kept him last night ,running test on him to see whats wrong.
I'm so affraid he's got a infection,from doing to much to fast,we'll see this morning,so I would appreicate all the prayers for him,he and my aunt Barb,they live right beside me and we are very close,thanks in advance......................... ................................

And Hope says thanks,Michelle,yea them 20"wheels are pimping out big time,can you say rednecks in a pimping inferno red NITRO, ............we're cool and know it................ ...........................................

We went to dinner Tues. gave Sheldon his presents last night and we are having icecream cake and watching his new movie the Hurt Locker tonight. . . . They sure know how to make thier b-days last LOL

Well, we flunked out on the "dog sparying" again! Got up at 5 a.m.drove 20+ miles and there were too many in front of us to get grandaughter's dog spayed but they did give us a voucher but we don't know when that will be yet! Caught up on my sleep now I think! Still busy farmin'! Sure wish Nicole would send me some tiles so I could finish my house!

Yes Sir I'll have to get a td div race in before I can run it at Natl. Charlotte td was almost full before Gainesville so we ran SC there & at Commerce too because we could't get anywhere else to test (still haven't with the weather here) but the dragster was awesome at both tracks so it should be fun!

I'm still at that stage of not being able to even think about the kids leaving home

Good Morning Gang,thanks for the prayers for my Uncle,come to find out he had a pain patch on for the pain he was having in his hip,and not thinking he took a Vicodon(SP)for pain and then being out of it,acciently took another,so bascially he overdosed,without meaning too,so he's still in the hosipital till sometime today,so still remember him in your prayers................. .......................

Well ya'll have a gooden and prayers to all in need,real busy time around here,Mannie started little league practice Wed.and will be practicing Mon.Wed.and fri.evening till the games start,so can you say Dads going to be busy this spring,hauling my ball player around,going be fun,don't know where racings going to fit in,oh well,they only need Dad for a little while,so I'm going to enjoy it............. ............................

Mornin' all! TGIF!!! It's been a long week. Funny how the timing of things works out. I've been grumpy about work (while of course being thankful to have it), got a tough project that is stressing me out. Along comes Karen's latest update, and reminds me of what I already know, to not worry about this stuff. It all works out. There is so much to be thankful for. I appreciate that she works through her pain to keep us updated. Gotta wipe some tears, 'scuse me.

The things that make you smile (& cry)...after a great Mom & Me adventure today(we won't mention the truck making this weird noise still tho), going to get slicks, hanging out with the gang there, a really wierd & long trip to Sams Club, all these complete strangers that just kept coming up & talking with us everywhere we went (may have had something to do with the 4 sets of Goodyears in the truck bed lol)and then stopping by this little restaurant in Mt Airy on the way home, Madi says to me when we finished eating..."Mom, you're the best, I love you so much, this has been a great meal & just the best day, the only thing that would make it better would be if your back wasn't hurting and if little Nikki were here with us."

Good Morning my wonderful Drr family,this prutty weather is killing me, ,I am so thankful to be able to get out and work as much as I can,so I quess it's killing me in a good way...................... ....................................

Michelle,I sure know what you mean about things that make you smile,and I do believe the Good Lord knows just when to send them,the other night,I was grumpy and down and Mannie just out of nowhere said,You're the bestest Daddy,I ever had,now that'll make you smile and cry................... ...........life is good today............ ........................

Speaking of Mannie,got to go to little league practice today for about a hour,got a high school coach coming in to work with the pitchers,thats right my Mannie a pitcher,well getting him ready for next season,and maybe a little relief this year,he's only eight,the coach is really impressed with his ablities and wants to get him off on the right track,me too..........He got to put on the catchers gear yesterday and try out for that spot,he loved it,but he still has good knees,anyway can you tell I'm proud of him............... .......................

Michelle, 4 sets of Goodyears? That's 8 tires. How fast do you wear them out? One pair last me all year. I'm glad I don't have your tire bill. That reminds me of when we were going in circles. Our tire guy had to have one set for practice, one set for qualifying and another set to race. Course he wasn't payin the bill.
