It's Tuesday and that means it's Coumadin test day and Los Dos Molinos day! Gotta have some good with the bad! The "bad" isn't so bad anymore as those pokes in the finger have become routine and don't hurt anymore! If I had as many needles pokin' out as I have had poked in I would look like a porcupine! Gonna be another day of 70's here again and I am trying to push it eastward so you all can thaw out your pipes before you stink up the neighborhood! It's been so long since I never took a shower every night that it would probably drive me insane not to shower and shave every night! Probably would be a short trip! Until my warm spell get's there, you all snuggle up to each other and keep warm and everything will be all right! Just don't get so close that you start a fire! God Bless!

Kids finally back in school And now I have a boat load of work to catch up on.

We made an offer on a house and they accepted, so keep your fingers crossed that it all goes well, I really need a home after renting for 1 1/2 years, we need to settle in here

And on top of all that is already busy my Grandpa is back in the hospital and not sure this time on how well he will do with all that needs to be done, so please keep him in your prayers

MAN HAD THE SILLIEST THING HAPEN TO ME TODAY.
WE HAD A CUSTOMER THAT WAS TRAVLING THRU AND BROKE DOWN SO WE TOOK HIM TO THE AIRPORT AND SHIPPED HIM OFF. SO WE GET HIS TRUCK WORKING AGAIN SO HE FLIES BACK IN , SO OFF I GO THIS MORNING RIGHT BEFORE LUNCH TO PICK HIM UP. GET TO AIRPORT HIS FLIGHT IS LATE SO I AM SITTING THERE MY LOW SUGAR KICKS IN SO OFF I GO TO SNACK MACHINES GET ME A DIET PEPSI AND A KIT KAT BAR, WALK BACK OVER AND SIT DOWN BESIDE THIS LADY WITH A SEAT BETWEEN US, TRYING TO OPEN DRINK AND CAN'T SO I LAY MY KIT KAT BAR ON THE SEAT NEXT TO ME. OPEN MY DRING AND ABOUT THAT TIME THEY ARE TELLING WHAT FLIGHTS ARE COMING IN, AND OUT THE CORNER OF MY EYE I SEE THIS LADY REACH DOWN AND GET MY KIT KAT BAR, SHE OPENS IT AND BREAKS OFF A BIG PIECE AND LAYS IT BACK DOWN, I AM LIKE THINKING WHAT THE HECK THATS MY KIT KAT SO I JUST REACH DOWN AND GET IT TAKE ME A BITE, WHILE SITTING THERE CHEWING IT I AM WATCHING HER OUT THE CORNER OF MY EYE AND SHE IS ALSO WATCHING ME, SO I THINK WHAT WILL SHE DO IF I PUT IT BACK DOWN THERE. SO I PUT IT BACK ON THE SEAT AND I AM WATCHING HER AND SHE JUST REACHES DOWN AND BREAKS ANOTHER PIECE OFF AND PUTS IT IN HER MOUTH, BY NOW I AM PISSED OFF, SO I JUST GRAB THE REST OF THE KIT KAT AND EAT IT, DRINK MY PEPSI AND THIS LADY AND I HAVE NEVER SPOKEN TO EACH OTHER, SO I GO TO THE REST ROOM AND ON THE WAY IT I SAW A DONUT STAND, MAN COULD OF HAS DONUT INSTEAD OF KIT KAT BAR BUT I GO ON IN THE BATHROOM , ON MY MAY OUT THERE STANDS THIS LADY WITH A DONUT, I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT AS I WENT BY I JUST BENT OVER AND TOOK A BIG BITE OF HER DONUT AND JUST KEPT WALKING. PICK THE GUY UP RIDING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY CELL PHONE RINGS I AM FEELING AROUND IN ALL MY POCKETS FOR MY CELL PHONE AND I PULL OUT MY KIT KAT BAR FROM MY COAT POCKET CELL PHONE WAS IN SHIRT POCKET.

I JUST WONDER WHAT THAT LADY THOUGHT

I just love you guys, Pat I was rolling on the floor yesternight when you told us that...thinking the lady was eating your kit kat but you had yours in your pocket the wh0le time!! For the doubters, I saw Pat grab a big bite of Ricks samich as he walked by at the drag strip one day-you shoulda seen the look on Ricks face

The emotions are changing now & it's getting harder but a lot of the other stuff is getting better..contractors in place, etc...

This is our last day in San Diego. We're getting ready to go to the convention center for the closing ceremony, and then to the airport. Plane leaves at 2:30 and we will be back in Oklahoma at 8:30 tonight.

Come on out MsFurr, we still have good weather and it's time to celebrate. Y'all remember me talking about that buddy of mine with cancer, well, God bless him and everybody that prayed, his doctor called him yesterday and said he's cancer free. Now maybe he can get back to drag racing.

Thanks everybody, we were real worried about him for awhile. Now I can get back to riding his a$$ everytime I can.

Wish the news at the Price household was as promising as the news on Floyd's friend but it's not! We took wife's aunt to her primary care doctor today and the doctor told my wife and her aunt's son that it is time to forget about taking her to doctors and specialists as the blockages in the arteries to her brain are getting worse and at about 78 lbs. and 78 years of age with dementia setting in she would not be healthy enough to withstand any kind of surgery! Don't get me wrong, she is not laying in bed just dying! Her dementia is at the stage where if she turns too quickly or whatever, she hits the floor! She says she feels fine but I can see her slowly "sliding away" as she fell twice at our home a couple of weeks ago! She eats like a horse and you would think she should be putting on weight like me but that is not happening! Tomorrow she will probably be out in the yard raking or picking up leaves! When she is at our home where we have a 6' x 10' rug on our tile floor in the living room and she will set in the wife's recliner and notice a string or pebble on that rug that I can't even see and she gets down on her hands and knees and starts "grazing" (as we call it) our rug by picking up every little thing that isn't supposed to be there! She, according to her son, is now at the stage where she tends to "list" to one side as she walks which may change from day to day depending upon where the blockage is the greatest that day! It is sad to see but she is happy and really has no idea what the future holds for her but she is content with her life and for that we are very thankful! Her divorced son is looking after her at his home as his construction job has him "on hold" as the result of a lack of jobs currently and will be contacting Hospice or a similar type of operation to help him at home when necessary which is what the doctor recommended. My guess is that some morning she just won't wake up and her passing will be a quiet and peaceful one! I hope that is the case rather than her falling and hurting herself and being in pain! I have seen her face after one of the falls at our home and it was horrifying though the first words out of her mouth were: "I'm okay!" Your prayers for a peaceful eventual passing will be appreciated!
