We had a good day at the track yesterday. ChuckT and I are in the bracket finals and MarkB MaB hubby is tied up for the last spot so he has a run off coming. We are pulling for him.

Everyone have a SAFE and enjoyable labor day weekend.

We actually got enough rain yesterday morning to tell me where the leaks are in my patio roofing job so I am off to Home Depot to see if I can find some flashing to divert those heavy 12" rains we get (12" between the drops")! Started backing the car out yesterday and noticed that "plugged" slick was flat so had to break down and order me a couple of 32 x 14.5W slicks from Hoosier on my only charge on my Visa card! Thank goodness I am a Hoosier dealer and will save a few bucks that way! Today the plan is to pop out my guages that the lights are not working in and determine what is wrong! Just gotta be careful and not cut myself but if I do I'll just bleed to death in my race car! Can't think of sweeter place for the "end" presently! Good luck to you all this weekend!

Good Evening Folks,getting a late start at it today,still not feeling well,so prayers will be appreciated,had some new meds. turn on me earlier in the week,so dont know if it's that or something new,go see the Dr. in a day or two to see whats happening,hate to complain,with so many having tough times,but you know how it goes,your toe ache is your toe ache,so thanks for the prayers in advance,and keep remembering Mom,she seems better at times and then shes still real weak and breathless alot,so say one for her............. ............

I hadn't said alot about my boy Mannie lately,he's such a good kid to put up with me,and does preeetty much what I tell him too,for a seven year old,but yesternight(Mannie talk) he got to asking for a new pet a rabbitt like the kids tv show Max and Ruby,so I said well you've done real good at school already and do your chores good so ok,so him and his mom found him a new female(can you say oh no more bunnys,the kids smarter than he shows sometimes)anyhow her name is Joisey,so ya'll mite big seeing me trying to give bunnies away before long,as he says you never know Dad.........................

Well Floyd ifn it was me,1st thing I'd do is put some more air in them bad boys,chattering means it's biting hard and more air quicker ETs,I drive a stock elim.car once in a while for a friend of mine and it's a 66 chevelle wagon it's pretty heavy,I run from 18 to 20 lbs in the slicks they are drag radials,but even in reg.slicks I run from 12 to 16 according to the track I'm at,so if it was me,from what I'm hearing you say,I'd want that wheel speed up,2degs. pinion angle not to much in my opinion,I know I've heard you say the truck is pretty heavy,so you mite want to try the air pressure in the driveway and see how more air makes the truck sit,set that slick up on the tread as much as possible,well I hope it helps,you have pobablly tryed this already,but good luck,form you EAST COAST HILLBILLY CHASSIS SPECIALIST..........SOUND IMPRESSIVE DON'T IT.............................. .....................................

You might have been right about the AIR PRESSURE. i WAS STAYING AT THE 11 1/2 LBS i NORMALLY RUN AND IT WAS A HOT DAY. Whoops cap key got stuck.
When I had just a little over a degree in it it was pulling both fron wheels nice and even. Now it's just pulling the left up. Yes, the truck weights 4000 lbs with me in it.

I don't know for sure about the pressures,but I've always been bad at not running enough air pressures and then I've tried harder to do better as buying slicks for ripping out the side walls got old,plus if the track is better one time than the other a low air pressure will tind to slow you RT and ET,where more is not as likely to be bothered as bad,sounds good,good luck with it,and keep us up-dated...............

Mike, you are probably asleep as I type this--at least I hope so--but hope you wake up tomorrow morning feeling better! Probably just another case of asusitis! Gotta get those nerves from the a-hole un-innertwined with your optic nerve so you don't have a shyty outlook on life! Floyd watches over me like a "big brother" (who, if I had one would say: "get outa here kid!") but is always looking out for my best interest. Am sure lookin' forward to him buyin' me some mescan food at Los Dos Molinos when he is over here for the ET Finals since he is still among the employed and I am retired and living on a fixed income! Mike, if you are not feelin' better tomorrow, go to one of those urgent care places and let them give you an enema and it will get rid of all those pressures! Nighty night!

Racing didn't go to good at the farm for me,RL 1st rd.and then again in the buy-back rd.so had a little fun,started feelin bad that evening so that didn't help.................. .............

I had a good time racing yesterday. Won my first 2 rounds, and then gave the third round away. Never had to change the dial in on my truck. It's been so long since i have won a round of racing, it really felt good.

This really doesn't have anything about good mornings, but my wife and i just finished wacthing the movie "Fireproof", and let me say i needed to see it, and i should have watched it with her sooner.

Mouse . . . that is a great movie, I think all married couples should watch it together.

Good even' folks! And no Floyd I didn't just get up! It's Labor Day so I was out workin' on my car today! Tryin' to get all the guages to light up and partially accomplished my mission. Went out a few minutes ago and checked them in the drakness of my trailer and found I fixed some, but not all of 'em! Guess will have to try again tomorrow mornin'! Hope you all had a good holiday and ready to face a short week! Another Coumadin blood test tomorrow to see how much the INR ration has dropped as it was 6 last week (way to high!) and so I was off the pill for three days and back on 2.5 mg. for three days since last test so it oughta be down! I personally think the problem can be solved with an 81 mg. aspirin but we will wait and see what the "ex-spurts" come up with! You all have a good week and Mike get the Dr. to look at you tomorrow to see if you need to be put out to pasture or if you just need some steam rolled corn!
