There is no debating history! The basis for history is facts, not opinion. You either chose to believe in the facts or you chose to be an ignorant tool. The problem with the history that is taught in school is that it is filtered through the liberal mindset and taught from that perspective. Beck provides hard facts and demands that his audience do their own research to verify what he's dug up. And if you are not entertained by history and facts then it would confirm my suspicions that you are merely an ideologically blinded drone with a self-serving agenda, unwilling to listen to anyone with an opposing point of view. The history of the United States is rewritten regularly by one side or the other. Example is the common belief that the framers of the Constitution believed that all men were created equal. Though they wrote this, most of them did not believe it. History has to be understood for what it is, and yes, some research will help in the understanding. If everyone saw everything the same, why would we have opposing view points? Just because you have a point of view, why would you believe yours over another person's point of view, or at least think yours is more valid? Very well said. The tiems I have listened to Beck he always stresses where his data is coming from, adn also stresses for everyone to go do their own research. Not the left, you know, the ones that just made the statement that almost half of Americans have a preexisting condition and couldn't get health care. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? REALLY? So 15 million Americans (yep, the 20 million illegals don't count) don't have health insurance, over half of those choose not to purchase it, so 8 million people a year ago and now it is 129 million. Man, a lot of people got sick in a single year. Keeping the Socialists and NEO-LIBERALS at bay with FACTS one post at a time !!! Freedom isn't free !!!
