Bob hit it on the head ! You won't see any of the Dems on here making those statements. Boob, Here is the way you do it and you reduce the debt, put Americans back to work, lower taxes on everyone and improve the economy: 1. put most of those folks working for the gimme programs in the gov on the street, too much red tape. 2. Now put all the illegals out of the country, frees up a ton of capital and government tax dollars 3. They leave, there are a lot more jobs for Americans to have, the rate of pay goes up for those jobs which means we need a lower tax table. 4. This would mean more Americans have more money in their pocket to spend on American products. SIMPLE ECONOMICS. WHAT IT DOES DO IS PUT THE NON-PERFORMERS OUT AND THE PERFORMERS IN. When asked by Dave Weigel how many jobs would be eliminated by cutting funding to these priorities, head of the Republican Study Committee and future high school football assistant coach Jim Jordan (R-OH) said, “We think if you reduce federal government spending, you actually create jobs.” It must comfort him at night. It’s based on nothing, but it must make it easier to sleep. Talking point Ny-Quil. http://www.cjr.org/campaign_de...dy_committee_get.php This link will give you the actual cuts being talked about by the Republican Study Committee. Not from some blog........ ctrl..C... ctrl..V...... Even with these cuts, still no estimates of jobs lost. Only a theory based on NyQuill.....

Stanman, you are not the persons I am referring to. You are part of the solution. You are engaged with your community and are ACTIVELY trying to get something done. While we might disagree politically, I respect what you do for others and the fact you are TAKING ACTION to make things better. Sadly, the same cannot be said for many. Just because I haven't posted on some of these issues does not mean that I haven't been able to get a read on how people think. I didn't call anybody a bad name. I described observed behaviors. I didn't tell anybody they were stupid or that I thought they were full of it. I asked a targeted pool of people to respond on a question. I guess I could have worded it differently..... for all of you that whine.....or all of you that have an opinion and complain a lot. Let's see if any of the usual suspects would care to comment on their involvment to make things better?

Dave ....Agree with the stupidity of stopping drilling, killing jobs. Dave .....Maybe mr. cov would like to post how many more jobs be lost under his posted list? The repos have been complaining about loss of jobs but i guess some are confused about creating jobs. Still, the repos will not touch entitlements. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ How many jobs lost just under the Amtrack alone? Are you are against infrastructure spending? You bellyache not creating jobs then you post eliminations of services that creates jobs. You can't have it both ways unless you are a hyprocrite...........

Jobs that are paid for by the tax payers in most of these cuts do not produce anything of value! The American tax payer is supporting WAY too many non-producers in the government alone, we sure as Hell don't need dead weight in the private sector! TAKE IT TO THE BANK!!!!! Later, Bill Koski

BOOB, Your problem is you don't understand that the jobs the gov has is a life sucker. What everyone is talking about when they state they want job creation is "do it in the private sector". Adding additional governement jobs just increases spending and does not do anything positive to the economy, it is actually a detriment to it. Go take an economicsa class and see how that works out. Bob actually likes the idea of taking our money through taxes and creating an entity that seeks to control what the civilian producers do, whether it really is for good or not. Using the EPA for example, he thinks some farmers field should be deemed wetlands when for 364 days it is dry land and one day out of the year it holds enough water to track a little mud. He also, agrees that if ensuring that farmer complied would require one person to watch said mud puddle ten could do the job better @ 75000.00 a year plus benefits. He looks at one little thing it "might" do well and thinks nothing should be touched.. LOL, he's clueless.. CBS complicit in news coverup “[60 Minutes] correspondent Lara Logan was repeatedly sexually assaulted by thugs yelling, ‘Jew! Jew!’ as she covered the chaotic fall of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Cairo’s main square Friday.” Powerful reporting on an important story. Two problems: It didn’t run until yesterday, and CBS didn’t run it. The quote is from the New York Post. And it was The Wall Street Journal that reported “the separation and assault lasted roughly 20 to 30 minutes.” How is that not news? Hillary Clinton Calls Al Jazeera 'Real News,' Criticizes U.S. Media Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Wednesday that Al Jazeera is gaining more prominence in the U.S. because it offers "real news"--something she said American media were falling far short of doing. Clinton was speaking before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and she said the U.S. is losing the "information war" in the world. One of the reasons she cited for this was the quality of channels like Al Jazeera. "Viewership of Al Jazeera is going up in the United States because it's real news," she said. "You may not agree with it, but you feel like you're getting real news around the clock instead of a million commercials and, you know, arguments between talking heads and the kind of stuff that we do on our news which, you know, is not particularly informative to us, let alone foreigners."
