Well, I have not decided if I will be feeding you guys this year or not. May take some time off from Brownie and goodie making.

Looks like the people in front of you guys were winners. Joe and I had no problems with people around us when we went to Englishtown.

Maybe this year instead of them being in front of you you can sit beside them or in between them would be even better!! Smile

Sonya, comments like that might make Barry post, watch out! Big Grin But I hope it all works out, if you have to take time off from making the goodies.

The people in front of us... well, let's just say there was an empty bar somewhere.

I thought they were kinda interesting Chuck...lol Definately correct on the open bar somewhere in Northeast Ohio (thats where they were from we got the life story...including the ever famous..."My buddy, yeah he has a 454 SS Chevelle...It should run 8's when he gets it together") I am sure we have all heard that one before or at least something very similar.

We will probably come back. We didn't have any problem doing that last year. We got back late but oh well. At least we got to sleep in our own beds to get a good nights sleep for the points day.

Mark, the w**** row made me think of the Orbit gum commercials:
Dirty mouth? Clean it up with Orbit!

Definitely heard plenty of those types of comments before, about the 454, like when people come up and ask me what my car is, I tell them Cutlass, and hear "my buddy had one with the 442 engine."

AJ, I looked into a couple hotels for that weekend. Since we're not racing, I'm debating on what to do. I'm considering staying all weekend, maybe doing something else on Saturday, I have friends over by Toledo, and then going back for elims on Sunday. I looked at Motel 6 on 250 by the turnpike, booked. So were a couple of the others I looked at. One was available, but had a minimum 3 night stay, at $200/night. So I'll be looking an exit or 2 down the road. I could go for a party weekend. Big Grin

There will be a press conference covered by WPXI on today's 5pm newscast. If I understand things correctly, PRP will be named Pittsburgh's 4th Black n Gold team by Dan Onorato.

Chuck is that ch. 11? Last I heard there is no points race that weekend. I think it is the JR dragster race. The hotel beats sleeping in the trunk lol.

Mark is that the wedding you are going to the next week? Also I am sure we could find somewhere to race that weekend since PRP is not racing.

I remember ahwile ago there was some talk about a possilbe change in numbers for points and the summit super series. I just talked to Frank, so I thought I would let everyone know.

We will be keeping the same format for the SSS this year with the X numbers. If you are just involved in Pittsburgh's points series you will have to put a PR at the beginning of your number and you can only have a maximum of 5 numbers/letters. The new computer system will only hold 5 characters.

I also have a call into Sherri to see if you can enter both box and no box with an X number.

It is kinda boring out here today. Is it just me, or do all sections seem to slow down on a Friday? Or is it because I'm taking a longer mental health break from work?

Ah well... new numbers for me then. Or maybe I'll just cut the first letter, and be PRX05. How would that one get called into the tower, Tony?

Here's an FYI if anyone hasn't gotten tix for the NHRA at Norwalk yet:

Chuck you can run your X number without the PR in front of it. If you do not have an X number you are limited to 5 alphanumeric.

PRP made the news! Whooohooo! Does that mean that more drunk people are coming to the track, and looking at our cars and saying, "I had one just like that, dude!" LOL Thank goodness the weekend is here!

I hope that we get more people through the gates. Always a neat feeling to race in front of a crowd.
