Congrats to Mike Egan, running strong at Mason Dixon yesterday in their Pro class. He was still in with 4 cars left when the rain came and they split. And he got a turkey! Big Grin

Now that the season has come to an end, I'd like to thank everyone on the PRP staff for a great season. Track prep at PRP is simply the best there is. Keith, David, Mikey, the whole crew make sure it's good and safe. You hear it from the Chrysler Classic, Pro Am, Pro Mod, etc, racers, how much they enjoy coming to PRP because they know the track will be right. The Pro Mod guys honored Keith in appreciation of his eye on safety after the Vergotz boomer. I thought the program moved great all season. I think moving the water boxes back did help keep the program going. On the few days where we had a light car count due to weather, heat, etc, every purse was paid in full. The Memorial Weekend, with the regular entry, doubled round money, and more than doubled final round money, was just awesome. The Nitro Jam was great... so cool to see nitro cars at PRP. Night of Fire, PID-Keystone Nostalgia Day, Bracket Finals, GGG, all great events. Congrats to all the class champions. And big thanks out to my buddies Barry, Mikey, Rich, and Kerry, for all the fun we had in the pits. Special thanks to the Foxes for putting up with us, and for letting us borrow tools and such as needed, and to Brianna Casini, my BFF. Big Grin

X2 Thanks for doing all the typing Charles Big Grin

Yinz guyz are welcome. You can X2 this too, since I forgot to mention it:

The "Rained Out" text service alerts is one of the best ideas ever. It is great to be able to eliminate that "Should I head out to the track in this iffy weather?" Also loving that PRP is now part of Live Timing on 1320go.com.

I'd also love to see showers at the track. It would be great to not smell (as much, anyway Big Grin ) for an event like GGG, or Bracket Finals, and be able to stay at the track all weekend. And like Mikey said, Michael, Carmen, and Jamie have heard plenty of what people think is wrong. They know what needs done. Something Greg Miller said really rings true: Bad news always spreads like wildfire, while good news seems to get buried. These posts are positive things at PRP that I feel management and employees deserve to be lauded for. I feel like all care about us as customers and friends, and that's why I'm proud to say I race at PRP.

ya I agree the Rained out service is great and hope they continue it next year. Also agree showers would be a very nice addition to the track.

Most important, keep the shiny side up

A few other things I would like to add that I saw a nice improvement on. One was the effort PRP made to getting as many racedays/TNTs in as possible with the rainy summer we had. They did not hesitate to run that jet dryer whether it was a TNT or the bracket finals. I dont go to TNT very often if ever but I do go on other forums with a lot of guys that do nothing but TNTs, and I can tell you that there are a lot of people happy with the improvements made on TNTs. Racers are getting plenty of runs compared to the 2-3 they use to get, traction has been just as good as racedays, making every effoet to get the day in even when they would take a loss because of the weather, the TNT program has just improved greatly. I can tell you people are noticing and the word is spreading and it is all GOOD!. I think if things continue PRP will continue to draw more and more racers.

i totally agree, every year the track has made great improvements. more special events like the nitro jam and the 10ks,
for me, it was a real good feeling to have my step dad come to the track for the first time during the nitro jam and seeing it standing room only.
makes you feel proud to call PRP your home track !!!

Way too much to list, all that I am thankful for. Take nothing for granted, in a second it can be all gone. I know how great my day and weekend is going to be, with my mom cooking, and my nieces and nephews around, I hope yours is just as great. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

All of us at NoRespect Racing would like to wish everyone a Very Nice Holiday and Meal, and to take the time to remember all the people who have come and gone at their Thanksgiving tables. On a personal level, Now that both of my parents have passed away, our memories can be Bitter Sweet, but they make us who we are. Keep in mind that they would want us to keep our integrity, honesty, and fairness amoung our peers, and our family pride and values intact for the years to come.
