I have considered this option as well, the biggest issue is I just don't have much room in front. The engine compartment is pretty tight.

When we installed the 250 on dads car, he was adamant about it fitting under the hood. So we had to install a new scoop to clear everything. The biggest challenge was finding one long enough. The nose on his beretta slopes down so the hood itself would hit the front pulley. Your Camaro may not have that concern.

I ran all 3 the same day no big weather changes and was not a fluke. I had years of runs on gas and it was quicker and faster on methanol. I'm not saying this on is but the last one was.

it wasn't, you just think it was because your testing was invalid, no weather data, no control car in the other lane.

Never ran methanol in my life before that day. Amazing how you know my beliefs. I thought it would slow down mph and run similar et but didn't. Thanks for the input, not every combo reacts the same to everything.

NX makes a good nitrous kit for alcohol. When I ran one with a Rons Terminator on my 565 a 200 shot turned on early for 2 sec was worth .200. In a dragster I would go from a mid 4.7x to a low 4.5x in the 1/8. Key is you have to turn it on early in the run. Converter will play a big part in how it responds.
Just beware, nitrous can be addicting lol

All of my motors have picked up quite a bit by going to alcohol and even more when I went to Enderle hat injected alcohol.
Now I tend to keep my cam fairly conservative to be easy on the valve train. Also I like to keep my compression around 14 to 1 or so. Higher compression and larger cams may not react as well with alcohol. So your mileage may vary. Certainly easy enough to try a good alcohol carb and see if it reaches your goal.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

A blower is a snowball to hell, because who do you compare to?

Other blower cars.

Look around, who's outrunning you comparable combo? That's how much potential is untapped.

Can't nobody out run mine, so ya might wanna pay attention to my suggestions!!

Unless you're aiming for a snowball ride to hell, that is!

If you ain't Top Dog with what you have comparatively speaking. What makes you think you're gonna be blower Top Dog, if you jump in that arena?

That's running away from the battle.

That's like a drunk moving to a different town, thinking they won't be a drunk.

First that intake is too small switch to the edelbrock sv632 intake and port match. Next if u must keep the ally switch to injection or switch it to gas. With those cubes and your cut combo it WIlL be faster on gas with a good gas carb! Is that to get you .15 in et, nope! But it will be noticeably faster! MPH equal HP , ET is how effectively you apply it!

To do what you want in the 1/8 your talking 75 to 90 HP increase so if your current engine combo is decent you don’t have a chance without NOS or boost!
