That's one cool hotrod. We had something like this at our local track way back in the 90's. Don't remember if it was a Banshee, but was stretched on 4 wheels. Damm fast and squirrelly as hell.

Thanks, BTR!

Most people don't like it & with that comes the snide comments. They don't have anything to say after they see it run. Regardless, it has been a hoot to test/race over many years. I did all the R&D on it & it was built for my son. We have both collected a bunch of bracket, index & heads-up wins with it.

Morin y'all,
We're supposed to get rain Tuesday nest and supposedly will rain for a couple of days. That will screw up my roof repair. Hope the temp repair holds on.

Good evening y'all. Getting closer to moved into the new place. What was supposed to be a quickie
$5000 HVAC ductwork replacement has blossomed into an approximately $15,000 endeavor. That's eating up my budget for the lift and other wanted goodies for the shop. Glad I'm still able to work under the car on jack stands... So far 4 hotrods are moved to the shop. 1 to go tomorrow, then the rest of my tools, benches and other doo-dads...

Y'all stay safe, warm 'n dry out there.

The insurance company turned dow my claim. They said the roof was to old. So I gotta bite the bullet and pay for it.

Damm Floyd, that bites the big one. Back in 2018 my insurance covered mine 100%. Was at least 20 years old. Had several missing shingles from recent wind storms. Granted it was only 1100 sq/ft, so pretty low cost, and not real old, they didn't bat an eye. I've been told insurance companies have gotten pretty tight over the past few years, so nothing surprises me in respect to denied claims.

Good news around here today. Got the last of the 5 hotrods moved to the new shop. I'm leaving the 70 Barracuda in trailer jail beside the shop for now. 2 68 Camaro's, 1 64 F100, 1 68 Caprice, now inside their new climate controlled home. Benches, tool boxes and other such shop stuff will be moved soon.

Y'all have a great evening.

My house is 2500 ft2 so it's a bit of roof. My neighbor down the street is a roofing contractor
He can py a second layer on for 17k. He's not going to pull a permit so that saves me $750.
Marty will be back from Australia next week just is time to pay for it. Laughing Hard

Someone mentioned on another post that not many people post here so why don't some more of you all chime in. Us old fa rts got little else to do so we try to keep it going.
Going to change my oil and get my back wheels off to mount and balance my new slicks today---maybe. Cold rainy day here today after being 70+ last week. Good foot brake race coming at Farmington and we are booked in to the Beach that week. Will miss that. NC drag racing Hall of fame car show and induction is this weekend so I will attend that Sat. Always a good time to see old friends and catch up. Everyone stay safe.

G'day y'all. Cold and rainy in SE NC today. My new NHRA temp license made it here last week. Glad I didn't get it last year, woulda been a waste of $$$ since racing got set back. Things are looking good for it this season. Haven't done much over the past few days, aside from move bits n pieces to the new'ish home. The money pit costs keeps growing, but looking like the necessary repairs will be done by middle of next week,,, I hope. Then I get to clean out our current home and sell it. Already have people interested, so hopefully that goes quickly.

Fern, where's the NC Drag Racing HoF being held? would be nice to see that. Been planning on going to CPD for their Valentines day race this weekend, but there's 85% chance of rain, so that may be off the table.

Floyd, hope the roof is working out for ya out there.

Hope everyone else is getting along well, and getting prepped for a successful race season.

I always thank you for trying to keep this thread alive, as it should be!

As for members whining, complaining, bringing up & etc. about not many members posting. This is a Bracket Racing Forum; bracket racing is only really enjoyed by the bracket racer's self-interest & the family. I would like to see more contributing members but it's a hard sell.

The only place I see to possibly draw in new members is in the forum guest. They always outnumber the members by many. I've seen the guest ranging from high 100s to over 400 in the past couple weeks. How do you convert them from Guest to Member's? Maybe SL cares or maybe he doesn't; he doesn't appear to care either way.

How do you convert them from Guest to Member's?
