Mornin' all! Over center day! Beautiful day here, low 80s and low humidity. I'm hoping the forecast gets a little better for Friday, but Saturday and Sunday look great for KRP's $10Ks.

Nick, I have the most awesome 20/20 hindsight, starting with the Powerball numbers I should have played. Big Grin

Fern, good catch, way better than finding out the hard way, obviously.

You all have a great day!

Good morning guys. Got the flooring yesterday and getting closer and closer to demoing. My dad got a third converter now for his camaro and it sounds like they finally got the setup right on it since he went 8.90s and fastest before that was 9.12.

Good Morning to all .... past the hump and on the way to the weekend. Sure do hate the way some of these guys beat the dead horse. Its like they just have no respect , I know they all not to know what happened but..... Its just not right....

Chuck , hope your going to that race this weekend. You should have a great time with the new car.

Fern, you all rested up for this weekend...

Camaroracer , Your dads car converter has got the "sweet spot" for his combo, 8.90 is moving...

Floyd , Hope your feeling like your old self... Got any racing plans coming up...

Have A Great Day You All...

Fern is parked. Dr Fri afternoon and Thomas Dunfords funeral on Sat. I haven't commented on this deal because he was a friend for such a long time and did not deserve to die now. But trust me he died doing what he loved. Everyone have a good weekend if I don't get back

Afternoon, all. My Friday, so I can be at the track all weekend for KRP's three $10Ks. Weather looks like it wants to interrupt tomorrow, but good after that. There will be a lot of racing, that's for sure.

1258, good luck with the rest of the demo. Sounds like the Camaro has what it needs now for the converter.

Nick, I'm on the mic and such this weekend. I hope you're doing ok out there.

Fern, regular check up, I'm hoping for you for Friday.

I feel for you, Fern, and everyone who knew him. I wish I'd had the pleasure. Nick, I'm with you on that, speculation does nothing, and it's crass. Honor the man's life, and offer condolences to his family and friends. I'm glad Angela posted his obituary, nice testament to Thomas.

You all have a good rest of the week and weekend, and go get some ice cream with the good people in your life.

Mornin Y'all,
Goin to be another warm one today so me and Woody might be kicking back and catchin up on the laundry. With so much free time now I find myself sayin, we can do it tomorrow, a lot.

I got a new tablet on that Amazon Prime deal but it wasn't much faster than my old one. My boy came over and moved my modem to a closer location and that speeded it up a lot. But then it was too far from the computer so it slowed down or wouldn't connect. He said by a wifi extender. He came by last night and hooked it up so now everything works much better. I like the tablet but prefer typing on a keyboard instead of them little symbols. and it's easier to keep up with the results at the races on the big screen. Gotta keep my eyes on the McClanahans up in Sonoma this weekend.

Marty and I were talking about when we are going to take the truck out again and we both agreed not till it cools off some.

Fern, my condolences on the loss of your friend. I've been watching the stories and it's a hell of a loss.

Y'all have a gooden, TGIF

Too busy watching the rain? haha

He told me his exact runs, and this is off a crate 572 from Chevy. 8.918, 8.918, 8.914. I'd say it's right where he needs it. I'm considering the Jim Harrington Footbrake races this year.

Mornin' all! Good weekend, once we got away from the rain. I hope you all had a good one.

Floyd, I hope it cools off soon enough for you to get some 1/4 mile therapy.

Nick, lots of super tight racing, I hope you enjoyed.

1258, that's a pretty nice grouping right there! I'd say the converter has got the car right now. I'm hoping I might make the Harrington race, really good race, well run, but don't know if I'll be able to.

You all have a great day!

Morning guys. Some good racing going on at Keystone on the live feed. Was nice to have on in the background. Kitchen renovations are in full swing right now, so a lot of pressure right now. Also got a promotion at work after only 4 months. Not a big swing in salary but something.

OK 1st off Dr did a biopsy on my nose, suspected skin cancer don't worry and come back next Wend! Thomas Dunfords funeral was a funeral--well attended and glad I went. Got the real facts from his crew person, at least as much as he knew, and his family. Hate it when we lose someone and trust me Fern is 76 years old and I have lost a lot of friends it seems. Treasure every day folks we never know when it will be our turn. You can make it the Colonial Classic is coming up at VMP. Its always a great race and I hope to be there.

Mornin' all! Hard to believe it's August already. Looks like we have some warm August days this week.

1258, there was a ton of good racing. We have Accutime, which goes out to 4 digits, and I saw more .000x lights than I ever have, including two .0000. Congrats on the promotion!

Nick, I was race director essentially, Skeet was the announcer. He's awesome. I'm a bracket guy spitting out numbers, he's an entertainer in addition to being a racer.

Fern, good to hear nothing to worry about. We had a moment of silence for Thomas before starting Sunday's race. For sure, I hate it when we lose someone too, and we need to treasure every day.

You all have a great day!

Nice weather here, really nice. I still have not checked the broken stud deal but plan on being at VMP Thursday. Might have a bad battery in the motor home, maybe! Trying to catch up here. Wanted to paint deck but sprayer had to go to shop. Wasted a day on that. Still need to unload from Norwalk.....Dr apt tomorrow. I think I am spending to much time with those people---for a pain in the neck....you all have a good one.

Spare time is definitely hard to come by RED haha. I will post some pics along the way. Right now we have widened our one doorway from the kitchen to dining room a foot and we are knocking down the wall some where are fridge is so we can push it back one. Kind of sticks out like a sore thumb.

Mornin' all! Over center day!

Nick, nice your gas prices are that low. $2.59 for 87 octane here. Wow, you got more rain than we did, and we got a lot, like 6.5" in July. It was a great event, the track crew is awesome, worked like crazy to dry and prep and get everything rolling.

Fern, I hope the doc appointment goes well, and you're done with those people for a spell, outside of regular check ups. I have no doubt you'll get all the work done on the broken stud, motor home, and deck.

1258, man, that sounds like a lot of work. It also sounds like it will be just how you want the kitchen to be when you're done.

You all have a great day!

Hey Good Morning Guys... This week is dragging on , not enough excitement here. 24 more days till my next race, my Fall looks full till the end of November with 4 to 5 races a month. Till then I'm just work at staying alive I guess. Wife wants to take her shotgun out Sunday to waste some ammo, I'm not sure if she has a plan ... LOL

Mornin' all! Hoping maybe to test tomorrow night, if the weather holds. Juniors only this weekend, next points race is the 12th. I'm jonesing to be back behind the wheel.

Nick, that will be a nice run of races. I hope you're saying "yes dear" a lot before Sunday, so you're not the one she's wasting the ammo on. Big Grin
