Fern happy birthday buddy.

Floyd sounds like you are getting an ok amount back from insurance.

Friday morning I took my son to the hospital and we are still here Saturday and staying until at least Sunday. He has bronchialitis. Basically viral infection with mucus in the airways. Quite a scare and are here until he can breathe better without oxygen. We are getting some tough luck with both kids health these last couple months.

One positive thing is I pre-entered for the Door Wars race at Maple Grove in October.

1258, go on Amazon and order some Boost Oxygen. It's an aerosol can of oxygen. I have COPD and I use it all the time. Or rent an oxygen generator for a short period of time. The doctor should be able to give you a prescription.

Both Floyd, both!.....Went to Farmington today, first run car is .15 slow and loses 2 mph, 2nd run loses .05 more and 1 more mph. Noticed oil pressure lower than it should be while on the return road---what now! But got to see a lot of old friends that I haven't seen for awhile. The place was loaded.....if a track is open and treats you right the racers will come.....and they did. Good job at the farm.

Thanks Fern. I thought it was just me.

Watchin some friends at the Denso Nationals in Vegas yesterday. They did good. Got into the money. One of them, Dean Hall, that drives the Korbel Champagne Corvette in top sportsman made a perfect run on his way to the championship. .000 light and a 7.220 on a 7.22 dial. His worst light of the day was .012. I've known Dean since we used to run S/C back in 90's.
Y'all have a gooden. Big Grin

Mornin' all! I hope you all had a good weekend. Good stuff, saw my sister and her family, got a little work done, and Keystone opened yesterday, watched a couple of my friends set some new personal bests. Man, it felt good to be back at the track, but I can't wait til it's my turn. Hopefully very soon.

Floyd, I can tell you, Fern is right - BOTH! Big Grin That's awesome, a perfect package!

1258, very scary stuff. So sorry to hear, but I hope the docs have him straightened away in no time, and he's back home quick. I've been debating on the Door Wars. Looking at time off and such, and budget, I am holding off. If it sells out, c'est la vie.

Fern, that stinks. Pulling the filter off and cutting it open?

You all have a great day!

Chuck when I pre-entered for the race I heard it was already halfway full. That's in a matter of one day. Crazy.

The front wheels for the Malibu look like they are coming this week. Time to change out the wheels and look at the new look for the Malibu. So stoked.

Mornin' all! I got some stuff done last night. My buddy came up with my transmission, and we have it in the car bolted to the crossmember and supported. Timing cover, oil pan, and balancer went back on too. Another good night, and I should have it ready to drop in. Hoping to fire up this weekend.

1258, I'm glad that race is filling up. I want it to be there next year as an option for me. What wheels are you going with?

You all have a great day!

Good Morning looks like the week started off with a bang... Saturday I hung up at the house, as last week took a lot out of me. Crazy busy... Sunday went out for a team race, very thing was working pretty good. Running for the Money I was on 10.51 dial , went .003 on the light and ran 10.509 . First round I lost and also lost the tranny , I believe input shaft is broke. I'll know more once its out.

You all Have A Great Day. Frown ..

RED sorry to hear about your outing. Can't believe your car only goes 10s. In that avatar pic it looks like it leaves hard.

That is my choice(going slow) , on a very soft tune. Was kind of hard finding the most consistent way to slow it down. I have no interest going in 9s , just not worth all the extra cash on certs. Motor likes going 10s too, but it told me that tranny needs help....LOL

Mornin' all! Over center day! Supposed to be pretty nice here all day, mid to high 60s. I got the intake and water pump on last night, getting closer. I'm actually hoping the weather forces the track to switch test and tune from Saturday to Sunday again. Sunday looks beautiful, and that would give me Saturday to get everything buttoned up and the cam broken in.

1258, that's right, I remember now you had mentioned those. I like them.

Nick, sorry to hear about the transmission. That's the hard part about this game, replacing parts mid season, both in cost and time. Out of curiosity - if you had dialed a 10.50, would the .012 package won the run for the money? I don't blame you for not wanting to go 9s, and the hassle for license, certs, etc, that come with it.

You all have a great day!

RED I'm with you. If I were to get a faster car, I would prefer to keep it in the 10's. No point in shelling out all of that stupid money for 9s.

Good morning to all... everyone for your tax's done. Heard a few people at breakfast talking about it, thought it was little funny. Its going to be a great hump day, if I didn't know better I would have said yesterday was a full moon. But that's not happening till the 11th , guess the crazy's will just have to wait.

Chuck, the tranny could not broke at a better time , not a race for me till May 13th (second year without Spring Fling or is it three). So hope to get something done this weekend. Funny you say that third pair out a guy run dead on with and zero, so to win you had to be dead on with the zero. The tie breaker being reaction time, I though I could get under his .042 light.

Everyone have A Great One... GO Cards

1258, Racers with deeper pockets have faster cars, which I love to race with. And good for them, at my track Super Pro fast cars out number us slow guys 7 to 1. Only 3 car's slower than me so I'm first to leave most the time, but when I chase you can really see why they like to be the fast guy. The race in front of you seems a little easier to judge.

We need some photo's when the new wheels get to you.... GO Cards

Chuck, like the new emoji's ?

Mornin' all! Rain today, cooling off a little after a really nice day yesterday. I actually got out of work on time and strolled a few laps around the lake in the park by my house.

Nicole, nice to see you stopping in. Keep looking for the Pirates emoji, please!

Nick, that is good timing, though I'm sorry you're missing the Fling. It's funny, seems like every event/track has different names and versions of run for the money/dial for dollars/bogey race. KRP has run dial for dollars on occasion, sounds like what you were in, closest to the dial with RT as a tiebreaker.

You all have a great day!
