Good Morning how is everyone... The weekend blow by like the wind we had all day Saturday and Sunday. Got a lot done but did not gat a chance to service the car. Looks like I will have a busy Saturday if I want to catch a team race Sunday.

Floyd , real sorry for your loss. What a big hassle. I hope they burn in **ll , I hope the insurance works out for you.

Chuck , been looking at some of the tracks near you as far as payouts. I think I'm living in the wrong place... LOL

Question to all here, when is your first race this year?

Have A Great Day....

Mornin' all! Over center day! Had a good time at dinner last night with my parents, my brother's oldest, my sister and her 4, all the good stuff.

Floyd, I hope the insurance takes at least a huge chunk out of your loss, if it doesn't cover it all. Man thieves suck.

Nick, get 'er done, go racing. I think at KRP we do pretty well for a balance on entry and payout. Some of those tracks like Numidia and Capital, just wow. I'm probably homebound much of this season, the way family stuff is lining up. I'm looking at the second or third test and tune to be out, April 8/15.

You all have a great day!

Good Morning Everyone... I love to see hump days, makes me feel like I can make to the end of the week.... LOL I forgot to say something early . On Monday broke my rule on eating fried foods for one meal, so had a POP Fried chicken dinner at LUCKY WISHBONE... Dang it was really good, thought about Guy the whole time.

Chuck, I'm not racing as much this year and staying close to home too. The only team I paid dues was for was The local S/ST assoc. So I'm just racing some of each Summit team racing in Tucson and Wild Horse Pass. Funny my bank account is growing, Imagine that... Big Grin

Have A Great Hump Day to All...

Mornin' all! Last of the spring like days for a spell, around 50 and sunny today, before the temps fall and winter reminds us it's still in season. I'll work on ordering my parts and wait for next weekend's warm up to get in the garage.

Nick, I'm with you, on hump days, and fried foods. I've been restricting myself a lot. I had my gall bladder out in November, changed a lot of my diet, still working on it. The way I look at it, racers would be spending their money on something: boats, camping, fishing, traveling, etc. This gives a rush and a shot to win money. At least that's what I tell myself. Big Grin

Off the grid for a few days, you all hold this place down. And get some ice cream!

Mornin Y'all!
Hey Red, it is funny about the bank account growing. When I took last year off I saved enough to do 6000 bucks worth of work on the house.
Goin to be in the high 80's here today. I wish it would make up it's mind.
Ya'll have a gooden. Big Grin

Floyd , yep we never think about those dollars. I find not going out as often it feels a lot more enjoyable. Going out every week starts feeling more like a second job , and one job is plenty for me... I have to say this one more time , real sorry about your breakin ... an I hope your claim works out for you. Big Grin

Mornin Y'all!
Got up to 88* yesterday. Goin to be high 70's, low 80's for the next week or so. Time change coming Sunday night so we get back to evening socials in the neighborhood. A bunch of us get together most evenings and sit out in the front yard to yell at speeders and have a general BS session. I love my neighborhood.
Finally got a hold of a claims rep yesterday. I didn't know I had a $500 deductible. I do now. The lady said no problem. She would get it taken care of. Might have to come up with a re3ceipt for Martys firesuit since it was over a grand. I keep getting mental images about what was in the tool box and it's amazing how much crap you collect over the years that you need at the races. Like a little driver with a deep socket for the valve cover nuts. I didn't get it on the list. Oh well.
Y'all have a gooden. Eek Angel hug crying

Good Afternoon Guy's ... sure glad the weekend is around the corner. Been under the weather all week , just feel like I been out drinking all night every morning. Would not be so bad if I was out all night at the bars... LOL
I'm doing a team race this weekend, two day event but I'll only do one, cars ready to go just gotta figure of which day I want to tow out...

Floyd , that just reminds me that I have to clean out my carrying tool box. I've still have a jet board full of jets for gas in there and been running alkyl now for 3 years. Oh and still have some extra push rods, springs, rockers from a motor I sold 5 years ago. I wonder why that box is so heavy ... LOL

If your racing or doing TNT this weekend have a great time and good luck...

And everyone Have A Great Weekend... Big Grin

Fern finally got home yesterday. Went to FL, came beck to NC for 1 day and off to Baltimore and back yesterday. Its been in the high 70s around here but it is supposed to get cold tonight and snow Sunday---Farmington already cancelled for the weekend.....I'll head South to Pageland where its supposed to be ok and try to win a round. Already loaded ready to go. My old partner up North had 2 motors stolen awhile back valued around $60,000 out of his garage attached to his house. Homeowners is baulking but will probably pay up because he has all the paperwork. Every one have a good one.

Snow came, snow went, and now the sun is shining. Went to Pageland yesterday and to make a long story short new owner don't have a clue and neither does the help. Sounded to me like his base racers that have come there every week like clockwork will mostly be heading South to Darlington. What a cluster and poor attitude by the new guy. First time I ever felt like it was his track and he would do it his way no matter what...What a cluster. Guess they are cooking him on face place but I can't go there. Hope everyone is doing good.

Another sun shiny day out here on the left coast. High 80's again. Is it spring already?
Somebody sent me a nice picture of how the new suspension is working. Thank you photographer from the March Meet. He also put a burnout and a whole run in a video.

Dang , Good Afternoon Everyone... Its so hard to believe the weather you NE guys are being hit with , especially when I was at the track Sunday racing in 86 degree weather. Arizona is running 12-18 degrees above March's averages, so far hottest March on record . While you guys in the NE get buried in snow , I sure would like to see so cooler weather down here . Running the AC in march is down right weird .
Sunday went to the quarters, only to give it back... Really thought he could not get their LOL.... The round before I lost I backed into a 10 thou package... MY competition could not even find a hole as he had a .018 light...

Floyd, Great photo!! Hay hauler is launching like a bad A$$...very cool....

Chuck, I bet you got hit hard with that white stuff...

Fern , That sounds you had no fun...

Have a Great Day Guys....

Mornin' all! Over center day! Back in the real world. I took a trip out to AZ with my niece, to see my baby sister. 2 days in Sedona, walking and hiking all over stuff, followed by 2 days in the Grand Canyon. Bucket list item right there, and any words cannot do justice to how awesome it is. Mid 70s in Sedona, high 60s in the canyon, shorts and tshirts for 4 days, then back to reality when we landed back here in Pittsburgh to 20s, snow flurries, and wind.

Floyd, the time change is weird in AZ, since they don't observe it. Depending on where we were, like the Wupatki ruins (Indian land does observe daylight savings time), the time on my phone would flip an hour ahead and then back. I hope the insurance takes care of as much as possible. I had my tools stolen out of a garage I rented for the Cutlass, and that wasn't much of a collection at that point, but it still sucked. LOVE the shot of the launch!!!

Nick, nice job getting to the 1/4s. We've all given back once or twice before. Nice 10 pack too. If I had had some time in my schedule this past weekend, I would have seen if there was a way for us to meet up, but we were moving every waking moment. We got a dusting out here yesterday, no delays landing. Over night, got some more flurries, a little coating, nothing of consequence.

Fern, you did your driving on the east coast at the right time, got out of Dodge before they got whatever they got. Sorry to hear that about Pageland. We need all the tracks that we can get to keep this hobby alive.

You all have a great day!

Good Morning to everyone.... Welcome to hump day, hope you NE guys are all well...

Chuck , Thanks for the compliment. It was a good time at the track, best part was home by 3:30 in the afternoon.
Glad to hear you had a great time in Gods country. Sedona is a really nice place , Its so different from when I spent time there, as a kid Mom would sends us kids to summer there. The folks had and investment property along Oak Creek Canyon so I was a in the water from sunup to sundown. The town at that time had two restaurants , two small hotels, and one market. I spent 5 summers, so it was not a bad way to grow up.

You all have a great day..... Big Grin

Mornin Y'all!

Found a video of a preview showing the action at the March Meet. The multi-colored Nova is one of my buddies. Later in the video there is a shot of him getting bucked in.
They got a real good shot of my burnout and a about 1/2 way in a shot of my pass. Hope you can see it.

Mornin' all! Winter still hanging on this week, looks like it's going to last into next week.

Nick, it was awesome. Montezuma's Castle and Well, climbed up Sacred Mountain and on Bell Rock. We went up Oak Creek Canyon to go to the Wupatki national monument before going to the Grand Canyon.

Floyd, cool stuff! I would love to get to the March Meet some year. Love the way the hay wagon leaves. When are you racing next?

I don't know exactly what's going on, but Mike was asking for prayers on FB. I think Mannie is going through his growing pains still.

You all have a great day!

Sorry guys for not checking in more often. Life has been busy especially now that the wife is back to work and sometimes I have both kids all day. Man is that tiring. Also got a job offer that starts this coming Monday. Car is almost done, just need to finish little things on it now and touch up overspray spots. Also bought some new wheels for the car. Fronts are on backorder. That's life in a nutshell right now.
