Mornin' all! Mix of stuff out there today. Drove to the park and ride and it was snowing, supposed to be freezing rain in a bit, before it gets warm enough to be regular rain. I like the warm enough part, and I don't have to shovel rain.

Floyd, you forgot one thing for Fern: send him a bill! That rain easing the drought out there?

Happy belated, 1258. Doesn't sound like the best way to celebrate. And if you haven't had the cold yet, well, guessing that will be their gift to you. That a decent ride to the city from West Chester, isn't it? Shares are great, if they become worth something. They're irritating when they're worthless - been there.

Thinking of Ashley, Karen, and Bob. Ashley has been suffering from migraines, severe enough yesterday that they went to the hospital. They're now at Children's Hospital, which is an awesome facilty, but it's also "Nikki's hospital", and those are some tough memories to work through. Ashley is feeling better today, and they're talking to the right people.

Good Morning to all... Weekends long gone and we are working into the new week. We saw some real nice weather this weekend (sorry Guys just have to tell you) Saturday was 78 Sunday around 73. Got a lot of trimming done but failed when it came to working on the car. This coming week is set aside for the car...

Mornin' all! Over center day! The big bad wolf was huffin' and puffin' here last night, heard gusts to 60mph on the news. All good out my way, but I heard trees and lines were down in some areas. The wind also caused black ice in some spots. My park and ride lot was one of them, a bit slick.

J, trading links this week amongst the family trying to figure out which beach house to rent for vacation this summer, made me sigh as much as reading your 70+ degree weather.

Good Morning guys... hump day is here and we are half way done. Been raining here most the night going to continue with a 80% chance all day. Is everyone getting there tax info ready yet. I usually put it off till the end of March, but this year I promised myself I would get started by the end of January... LOL I really don't think that's really doing to happen...Hahaha

Mornin' all! Nice heat wave this morning, about 60. I'll gladly take the rain that might come today, with those temps. Winter comes back for a few days tomorrow and the weekend, but I'll enjoy it today while I can.

J, I am hoping to be more timely with the taxes this year. I don't get a huge refund, but it pays the car insurance and leaves me with a little bit of change.

Good Morning Guy's .... Been raining in SoCa so much that on the radio heard the 6 year old drought is over in 42% of the state... LOL What 8 days of rain and some snow so now you can water your grass!!! Hahaha This place is just so weird, last year 47.5 million came here just for a visit. Never thought Hollywood Blvd was that exciting, and Disneyland charging $120.00 a person for a one day pass...OMG You wonder why the traffic is so miserable.

Chuck, I saw some cars on the road that could have used that Bubble wrap treatment this morning... They do make it in Prius extra small size right?

Camaroracer, what really worked for me is chicken soup with lots of hot sauce , best of two worlds....No No it works...

Mornin' all! TGIF! Enjoyed the heck out of yesterday's 60 degree temps. My coworkers and I went a couple blocks up the street to a favorite spot for lunch, and made an afternoon run for milkshakes. Helped make the day go by. Back to 30s, not too bad, today. I'm hearing KC may have some real crappy weather for the Steeler game Sunday. I hope the Steelers pull it out there on the road. Almost as much, I hope the Texans upset the Patriots.

J, I was wondering what the rain and snow was doing for the drought conditions. I'd like to see some parts of CA, but not LA/Hollywood, other than to see the Dodgers and Angels play.

My first day that I don't have to wear a watch anymore. Who cares what time it is.
Yesterday all the people at work surprised me with a going away luncheon. I was overwhelmed with their feelings. They all said they were going to miss me but wished me the best of luck and happy times ahead. Some of them have been with me for a long time.Back 15 years ago I tried a release program for offenders that were trying to get straightened out. We hired 5 ex cons. The one that made it thanked me very much for helping him get his life straight and giving him a job. He's now the plant manager, has a wife and kids, owns a home and said it was my help that got him where he is today. That really touched me. I musta done good.
Here is the cake they had made for me. It was a great day.

Those crazy dudes from ROADKILL are putting on a race in Tucson, and get this the value of the car must be lower than $3,000 car and all motor and all components . That sounds like trouble waiting to happen, they will be filming it so all can see it on a future show... LOL

Floyd , Sounds like you made a positive difference in a lot of peoples lives and that is the best legacy anyone could wish for, but you did it... My hats off to you....
